Obviously, we don't know if it is going to happen and even if we did know we are just not sure of who it would be with. Granted, I love the idea of dropping down and getting "3 out of the top 50 or so guys in the draft" by dropping down. However, more and more I am thinking I would be OK with more picks and that if it helps us get a deal done there doesn't have to be a 2nd rounder in the mix. We might find more teams willing to dance with us. Oh, don't get me wrong, it is not like I am going to move down for 3 - 5s, but still, I could live with a 3 and a 4 combination (or more) if it calls for it. I know there is no love lost between the TSW and Whaley, but personally I feel fairly confident in this staff with respect to the draft, and 6 picks in the first 120 picks, with 2-3 potential starters is acceptable to me. Your thoughts? Accompanying, please find Walters' draft value chart for a reference: http://walterfootball.com/draftchart.php

Aaron Hernandez commits suicide
dollars 2 donuts replied to zevo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very well said, GB. Man-o-man, it just never. had. to be like this. -
Still, though, Mark, I would have liked to have seen that. I wish the Bills made a bigger deal out of it. Good to hear, Logic. I'll sometimes check in on twitch to see if someone's playing with the Bills and it is usually few and far between. As far as the sped thing, that is what made Parrish such a valuable assist in that third receiver spot on mediocre Bills teams in Madden. He was very fast. I fortunately in an online league I lost him in the second game of the season.

I don't buy the Bills aren't possibly moving

Great points and honestly I agree. However, and along with the matters as stated above please let us not leave out our fresh water and hydroelectric power, which other areas don't have, but seemingly it's every other part of the State's (and other States) entitlement to enjoy. Please, please anyone around here feel free to correct me if I am wrong as I may just have a bad memory on something. That said, I thought there was a bill on the ballot a couple of decades ago proposing a water pipeline be built down to the Southern States and that we would pay for part of it. Our compensation? I am not even sure it was mentioned in the Bill or the lead up to it...I just know we weren't involved. I was amazed at the Bill and voted "No" on it...I was more amazed that it almost passed. -

Greatest. Post. Today. Well done, PTR. Well done indeed. -
Regardless of whatever moves we make, or who we draft, I can tell you this: we will have no better than a 78 overall rating in Madden 18. I believe we have been in the 80s only twice the last almost 20 years. Side note, are the Bills planning a club tournament of Madden anytime soon to designate a Bills Madden player like other teams have done? I have been watching Madden on ESPN since late in the Fall, and I am curious.

Funny thing is, I could see the Bills going 6-10, but Taylor having a better season than he did in 2016 (more TDs, more yards, more yards per attempt and higher rating).

First response. The very first response, with what almost everyone was thinking on their way in here. Well played, NB. I love this Board.

Saint Doug Cops to his Sins ("Obviously")

Great point, Drive. -
I gotta tell you I was one of the people who was willing to give him a chance and I was done with that chance after the Baltimore game. I also have very little problem leaving a decent percentage of the blame for that loss at his feet. If he doesn't pretend like he's Reggie Bush The College Years maybe we aren't out of field goal range at the very least or make a TD drive at best. Just stupid play by him and by Roman for putting him in over Gilly or Williams.

NFL Combine List: Chad Kelly Not Invited
dollars 2 donuts replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. I mean he is a douche, but this. I also having a feeling that he could eventually be a more than serviceable QB in this League who could start. I am virtually just basing that upon numbers and the conference he played in. -
Tangentially, and forgive me for hijacking the thread a bit, but since we are contemplating replacements I don't know whether in hindsight I would have preferred Tyrod playing worse or going 9-7 through 16 games with 3500 yards passing, 25 TDs and 7 picks...just to make this thing a little easier for me as fan. ...this just in: I am pissed at Jim Kelly for not being ageless.

Sorry, but I'm still going to miss Hogan
dollars 2 donuts replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you, Kirby, to a degree as others have stated above and as you followed up. BTW, please might I add that heading into next you I am more than a little nervous (again) about the WR position for this team. I think Woods is gone and I don't Marquis will be back so after Watkins we really are just a group of JAGS at that position. I don't really want to draft a WR in the first round, but I would love a #2, who when healthy, is good for 70 grabs...man, what are we now, 15 years removed from the 192 combined receptions by Moulds and Price? -

Out of curiosity, do any of you honestly (HONESTLY) believe that the BIlls were better at WR this year without Hogan? -
Packers cut former UB Bulls RB James Starks

Roland Hooks, Buffalo Bills, 1976-1982. OJ, Terry Miller, Curtis Brown, Joe Cribs all ahead of him during his time. I would have added Rob Riddick for his 8 year tenure with the Bills (1981-88), but in checking on it he was the full fledged starter, and not just relief, for 8 games in 1986. -
this. man, I can't believe I'm saying "this", but this.

Has a backup qb gone onto greatness somewhere else
dollars 2 donuts replied to judman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of these were obvious, but this is the one I was waiting for someone to mention. Brunell is a prime example. -
I think injuries always matter to some degree. However, as I have stated twice above, I still would have gotten rid of him. BTW, Scott, thanks for being maybe only the 2nd or 3rd person that ever followed-up with me more than once on a post in the 13-14 years I have been here. EDIT: scrap what I said above as there was a typo in my earlier post, I would NOT have brought him back. Therefore if not for my typo you probably would not have responded a second time. I did intend to reiterate s a second time that I would not have brought him back.

Yeah he could have done better, but we are still up in the air, QB wise, our potential superstar WR was hurt for all but the last few games, throw in A WIlliams injury (and it does make a difference when that guy is out), Ragland and Shaq and it starts to pile up. Throw in as well, in my opinion, that overall our WRs group was woefully under staffed. I am trying to remember, but wasn't there a game or two where our number 1 receiver was Marquis Goodwin? Again, bringing Rex back would not be my choice, but I could envision someone doing it.
-
I mean, he wasn't wrong with SOME of the things he said in the article and let's be honest, this was probably his last shot at being a head coach (as he pretty much stated two years ago on HBO Real Sports). Contrary to what happened (and I know many around here wouldn't like this), but what if ownership had said, "We're not happy with the way things went and we are not happy with the way you handle certain things, but we realize you were dealt a bad hand by some things out of your control so you have one more year." Personally, I would not have liked it, but I would have understood it.

I can't stand Brady or the Patriots. That said, I don't even say the following grudgingly anymore: he is the greatest quarterback of all time. Unfortunately, I have nothing else to say about him. Edit: I do have something more to say, because I just want to be clear and not mislead anyone. Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, John Elway, Peyton Manning, Drew Bree's, Dan Marino, Roger Staubach, and the rest can't carry his jock strap. You know it, I know it, and everybody knows it, even if we don't want to admit it. ...because I am not really interested in, nor do I even remotely think, there is a call for debate on the matter.

Which will make you more depressed Falcons or Patriots?
dollars 2 donuts replied to HT02's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because we weren't sad sacks for being in 122nd place out of 122 North American Pro Sports Teams as far as longest playoff drought? I hear you, HT. I don't want the Pats to win, but I am actually rooting for the Falcons just as much because I think they are a fun and deserving team.
