  1. Please repeat this 50 more times so I can punch myself in the face as hard as I can, each time.
  2. I can't believe how much win this thread has provided, compared to the normal offseason garmudge we post.
  3. My friend Bagel from this board just messaged me. Something about "he'll let nothing get him down".
  4. Guys, with all due respect it sort of wrecks the back and forth of the thread when you try to do all of them in one shot. Leave some for the rest of us, otherwise, it's a little too mudge.
  5. Make fun of the guy all you want, but if he makes this team he'll make more money than any of us. I, for one, won't bemudge him one penny of it.
  6. and he sounds great for 92, as well. Amazing.
  7. Yes, but also one of the best ways is seeing what he does.
  8. Very respectfully, GB, and to all of you who list Logan Thomas on the bubble, who is beating him out? Towbridge? Croom? Saxton? I just haven't seen any conversation where anyone of those three beat him out. That said, I actually believe TE has been pretty well set almost since the start of training camp.
  9. My Packers fandom goes all the way back to Lynn Dickey and James Lofton and Bart Starr as the coach!!
  10. Tampa Stadium, around the goal line, opposite side of the stadium, but the same side of the field of the right in "wide right", high up in the stands. I was high up but still had better seats than Bruce Hornsby! I swear to you for a moment I thought the field goal was good and the refs were about to raise their hands straight up. In the parking lot a banner salesman felt bad for me as a Bills fan and gave me a banner for free...man that was only the beginning.
  11. Captain I am still torn about Whaley. Don't get me wrong, I am glad at this stage he is gone. However, he did some good things and then just plain did some boneheaded things. Will he ever get another GM chance in this League? Maybe with the old "I didn't pick the Coach" excuse, which may be a good one. Wow...hmmm...BH, that's actually an even tougher question, my friend.
  12. Individually? No. Over the last few years my respect has grown for Edelman as a receiver. I think either of the might be good for 60-65 grabs this year, but they aren't Edelman, in my opinion.
  13. Probably better than Ducasse, but he was too much money a number of years ago. Hogan was doable on a team whose receivers could have used a little help.
  14. Still think he would have been worth the money. Not an all-pro, but just plain worth the money.
  15. Yes, I believe TT is and should be the starter. That said if he hasn't cleared protocol by Wednesday morning before the game, that's it. He's not starting for me, no way no how even if he clears Thursday or Friday. It's not like he is Brady. If Peterman wins, it's still Tyrod's. If Peterman wins and looks good or just better suited in game for the type of offense the Bills are running then I don't think you wreck a good thing...keep the kid in.
  16. Please will you make it anyone on TSW that says, "We should run Shady until he pukes this weekend in Baltimore!"? Just now I died a little inside remembering that time.
  17. This...is extremely humorous. Well done, sir.
  18. There is "brutal" at the position (EJ throwing 3 interceptions) and then there is not very good (Yates last night). I don't like either, but the weird thing is I liked aspects of the brutal EJ over the not very good Yates. I felt the same with Jones. Yates does absolutely nothing for me. I'd take a wild card QB prospect over him if Nate wins the job.
  19. Sorry, don't know the draft pick question. I will say another problem with Holmes according to Sal C last week on GR is that he just cannot play the slot, which hurts Zay for playing the outside as he would have to come in and play the slot. I stand by my earlier comments above, we are thin and another top 3 or 4 receiver was very badly needed, especially if the injury bug hits. However, that said now maybe we could see more (and preferred) sets of Zay, Sammy and Bolding on the field.
  20. I was in a box with my dad. Pizza, wings, peanuts, snacks, booze. I wasn't going anywhere. Added bonus: a douche someone had invited didn't like the bills and had bet $5000 against them, if memory serves. He was a prick all through the first half, to men and women in the box and mocking everyone. I can't even describe to you my schadnfreude as things turned in the second. I'm not kidding you when I say that after Nate's pick he was in tears...tears. I enjoyed that almost as much as the comeback itself.
  21. Agreed. He's older, he's slower, and I couldn't careless about the mentoring...and he'd be tied for the third best receiver on this team with Holmes, behind Sammy and Zay and THAT'S what makes him valuable. One or two guys go down and we don't have to panick at the position. Edit: if Bolding catches 36 balls for this team, without any drop off in other receiver numbers, then I am fine with it. I could really live with Sammy at 76, Zay at 56, and Holmes and Bolding at 80 between them. Roughly 13-14 receptions per game for the receivers would be a nice change for this team.
  22. The terrible loneliness and despair that someone must feel at the point of making that decision hurts to even try and contemplate. The sad end to this man's life just became even sadder. RIP, young man.
  23. Yeah, the ridiculous one was him complaining about the linesman looking right at it but not making the call of Don Beebe stepping out of bounds and then coming back in to make the catch. ...it would have been so much better if they weren't showing the replay of the linesman...just plain not even looking in the same direction. Unless he had wall eye vision that call wasn't going to happen. BTW, whenever anyone says I didn't stay for the entire game, my answer is quite simple: I was in a box. ...I had peanuts, pizza, wings, drinks...I wasn't going anywhere.
