  1. Back injuries are really something you should take seriously...from a long term life standpoint, I mean.
  2. Thank you. All this "hold your breath", "pump the breaks", "temper your emotions" is for the birds. I want to enjoy this the way I want to enjoy this because waiting around for Supe Bowl trophy raising ceremony is a fools errand. We get this so rarely I want to enjoy it.
  3. I laughed hard at this.
  4. I thought he was texting, but I'll take video game. I enjoyed it.
  5. MClark, maybe you didn't say before, but I am starting to agree with you guys who previously said you weren't thrilled with Tolbert. Some tams (more than in recent memory) have two headed monsters at RB...I'm starting to get unsettled when Tolbert is in the back field by himself.
  6. I hear you, HS, but please re-read what I wrote. I didn't say we are going to beat everybody, just that I am not afraid of anyone in this league. Today, I honestly was thinking of reasons to be content with a Bills 28-14 loss...I want to be done with that for awhile...that lack of confidence.
  7. McBean who are you afraid of? Because right now I'm not afraid of any team...what a great feeling, isn't it?!
  8. That is the combined record of our opponents so far against the rest of the League. Take out the their Bills games and The Broncos are 3-0, the Falcons are 3-0 and the Panthers and Jets are both 2-1. Additionally, when the Bills play Cincy next week it will be their first game against a team with a loss this season. Oh, and we are 2-1 so far this year against 2015 and 2016 Conference Champions. Oh part 2, we have a game and half lead on the Patriots and Jets due to tie breakers. Oh part 3, Doug Marrone is not going to be NFL Coach of the Year. EDIT: Tyrod Taylor is 18-15 as a starter for the Bills and has thrown 42 TDs, with I believe 14 picks.
  9. @nucci Thank you, for the info, nuch! That is good news, but still I would like to dvr them for the big screen.
  10. I only discovered after the first game that they don't do the each game in 22 minutes or so on the following Tuesday/Wednesday. That seriously, SERIOUSLY pissed me off. That was the best feature. F the red zone...the game replays allowed me to see 3-4 other good games in less than a total of 2 hours, that I didn't get to see on Sunday.
  11. In all seriousness, this IS what would happen. It's not even debatable that it wouldn't.
  12. Oh man, Rubes, I couldn't agree with you more. I can't remember the specific games in the last 3-4 years, but I do remember the instances of 3 and outs (actually, I thought it happened twice ant the end of one game) with a lead late and then we go on to lose the game.
  13. Mods, I will not be offended by what you do with this thread. I won't be kneeling if you move it.
  14. Unfortunately, O29, right now they are ahead of us in the draft. If we make the playoffs I will be thrilled. If we don't, and we pick someplace like 10th and can't move up, it is going to get ugly around here when the qbs start rolling off the board.
  15. I love you, man! Exactly! Actually, to get to what may be my point (I'm not even sure) we either need to get rid of the protests or get rid of the anthem...or let it happen and have it play out its course.
  16. What if they prostrated themselves (laying face down, flat...a religiously humbling position) during the national anthem? Please, I am not trying to start a debate on this board about the politics of the abortion issue but more just a "what if"...what would you feel about that? It's freedom of speech. It's most likely a position by those players to give a voice to the innocent. Btw, just for the record, I am not against the current protests. I wish they wouldn't do it during the national anthem, but I do get it.
  17. I don't have a problem with the players show of solidarity, but this. Well said Commonsense. You guys may have way more money than the guys of the 90s but you haven't done a thing. Protest, amen, but with some things and with regards to some people, you have to earn your stripes before you open your mouth.
  18. Man, I love O'Leary. He has made tremendous strides and is an important player on this team. He is going to make a great New England Patriot some day...soon. EDIT: Dang you, wiski! Didn't see your post!
  19. I think there are only four teams in the AFC that are definitely better than the Bills: NE, Pitt, KC and Oakland. Anything can happen.
  20. Yes. In a game between these two teams on a neutral location, I'll take the Rams.
  21. Sunny and 86 in the Fall. How do we live here?!
  22. Why can't we have players like that?
  23. Man, I played on the old Rich Stadium field during high school in the 80s and it was like running up hill. I fell down, not even that bad, and got a major brush burn on that carpet and I can't imagine what our receivers were going through diving for passes on that tarmac! baaahhhhh...never want to go back to those fields.
