@dollars 2 donuts, as our go-to in all things Madden, is this accurate?? 🧐🤓
😆
HUDS, side note and only a little related, I haven't played in weeks, but no lie...Gabe drives me crazy in the game. Seriously, if there is a DB near him...I mean just forget it, even if he has the position on the DB.

y'all are spoiled. live thru a few 3-13 seasons and many no Playoff hope years. Not the case now....
Don’t tell an old man how to make babies.
I was there…THERE during OJ’s 2000 yard season.
Also anyone who knows anything as a Bills fan knows it’s lightweight arguments to be bringing up 3-13, when many of us have have been in the stands for 2-14 years and 1 win seasons.
The Vikes M.O. lately and in some years past is “really good but not there or can’t get there.”
We are three years removed from just appearing in the AFC Championship, less than a year after only the second home playoff loss in Orchard Park history against a team that we have no answers for, in the dying light of one of the great safety tandems in league history and maybe down to a year with a future hall of famer at WR and let alone an all world QB and we are further away now than we were at the start of this decade with EVERYBODY else in the conference seemingly getting better other than the Pats.
If being spoiled is being around for more than half a century and no Super Bowls, and 30 years since we’ve even been to one, then I’ll wear the crown easily because I want more than what we have right now and are projecting to be as opposed to wearing the title of Seth Settleman…which…well, obviously others have no problem with that moniker.

Gabe. *****.
Start shakir and make sherfield 3.
🤣 You silly folks who rip on Gabe are ridiculous.
You all think that the most important things in a WR are great hands, getting open a lot, many catches in big games, coming back for the ball, fighting and contesting for balls, dependability, and being an actual threat opposite the #1 and not just getting balls because teams don’t care or worry about you when in reality the most important thing is…
…
…boy those are all good things aren’t they?
We need a 1B. Not a glorified 3 (stop it, he is) and lately not even just a 2 anymore it seems.
The number 1 offensive priority on this team should be getting someone who would legit challenge for being The Guy at WR or at least not look awkward when The Real The Guy is standing next to him.

Thank you, Bucs. Thank you Texans. Most importantly, thank you CJ. One of the most exciting and fun games of the year.

If the Commanders, a team we destroyed, beats the pats in New England I may just punch myself in the Billsys as hard as I can until I lose consciousness.
We need a good ole fashion, dirty, nasty, beat down win tonight. This league is witchcraft.
Go Bills

Joseph is literally going to eat one Bengal RB Sunday night.
No fork.
No Knife.
It will shock many. Don't be one of them. Just expect it.

He is tailor made for us. We needed a true 1 technique, not as good as Daquan, as Jones doesn’t just clog the interior, he penetrates. Joseph will at least clog up the middle for Oliver and Phillips to hunt. Interior pressure is key to McD’ s defense. That and the defensive backs. Well, we just replenished badly needed bodies in these areas. In time with snaps Williams will grow at the Wil and Bernard has shown already his progress since year 1.
Huzzah, my friend.
My goodness so many on this Board have slandered you through the years with stating you are lazy, dangerous, insane, glutenous, bifurcated, obscene, sexually deviant, careless, heartless, ruthless, toothless, mirthless, brash, swarthy, condescending, prickly, cantankerous, boisterous, egotistical, geriatrical, complicated, rude, obnoxious, demeaning, critical, clinical, technical and even mayoral...
...and where are they all now after such a great post above?
👀
I say bravo to you...bravo.
😉
BTW, Beane...ya done good, Sir. You done real, real good the last couple of days.

Forgive me for bringing this up, but what if they take us to the woodshed again? (they did, stop it. they did)
Whenever anyone was worried about the Chiefs those concerns were usually assuaged by the Bills punching them in the nose the next time around, and usually at their house...because that is the only place those two teams are allowed to play per NFL rules (I kid, I kid. if your brother works in the NFL scheduling office don't go crying to him).
Sure, just try and get at them the next time around, but if you are one of the best teams in the conference and then there is a team you just can't seem to upend...whoa, Nelly. 🦟*
(* Honestly, I couldn't think of any reason to use the mosquito emoji and as it was unlikely it would ever get used here, ever, so what the heck I thought it deserved at least one click and show)

Miami is good.
Buffalo is good.

I would like to outscore the living hell out of them, which in my book is putting the foot down on the freaking pedal and not even looking back to see what is going on until we've dropped 49 on them.
...but that is just me. I'm all about the speed and the beat down.
I know that is not everyone's cup of tea as many of you around here are, "oh nooo, we gotta balance and be measured and we need to see the spread sheet where everybody gets the ball and we yada-yada-yada."
To each their own, and God bless you all, but I say let Allen be Allen and actually...I know I know, don't get upset...maybe we impose our will on them.
Go Bills.

You know who I would have liked?
Getting Damien Harris back.
I know he wasn't hurt this weekend and I know he wasn't coming back for the Bengals, but my hope was we wouldn't be without him during the entirety of gauntlet stretch coming up.

Maybe the Damar factor will get these guys pumped. And Dorsey needs to let Josh be Josh again. He let him loose for the first half Thursday, but then started to reel him in during the second half. He can't do that. Take the leash off for all 4 qtrs.
Yes, and I’ve preached this before…let Josh be Josh.

If cincy loses today I doubt we are the betting underdog next week.
lol if we’re heading into week 18 at 10-6, who are the 3 better teams eliminating us from playoff contention at 10-7. Is anyone making these predictions looking at the standings? 😂 there’s little to no chance we miss the playoffs at 10-7 the way things have shook out so far
My setup is obviously about catching Miami or I wouldn’t have posted the Miami part of it. However, yeah if we finish at 10-7 and split with Philly and Dallas (let’s say) that means we are 6-6 in the conference. I really don’t think it is impossible for 3 other teams to be at least 10-7.
We have the entirety of the central and annoyingly, possibly even the Jets with Wilson and QB, which I believe is one of the signs of the apocalypse.
Btw, this administrations next playoff win on the road will be their first playoff win in the road.

The more I look at it, the more I'm pretty sure we are going to miss the playoffs.
10-7 might make the wild card (also could miss on a tie breaker). So we have 4 losses left we can take. Here is our remaining schedule:
Tampa - Thursday Night Football is weird and sloppy. Tampa is better than the Pats and the Giants.
@ Cinci - Bengals had our number last year, they haven't played great so far
Denver - *Should* be a comfortable win
Jets - Already beat us once. Jets D has Allen's number.
@ Philly - 5-1 and Super Bowl team
@ KC - 5-1 and Super Bowl winners
Dallas - 4-2 team, very tough defense
@ Chargers - West coast road trips are rough, team has similar talent to Bills
Pats - Well, we just lost to them, so we can probably lose to them again
@ Miami - 5-1 team, we were able to beat them once (with a fully healthy defense though)Games we should definitely win:
- Tampa- Denver
Games that are toss ups:
- Cinci- Chargers
- Jets
- Pats
- Miami
Games where the other team should be favored:- Philly
- KC
- Dallas
Not a lot of room for error here! 😬😬😬😬😬
I don’t think Dallas will be favored especially here in Buffalo. They are almost as dicey as us at times.
a big one…Cincy. We can still pull things out, but really need to rack up some afc wins and we have to pull the upset in Ohio.
Be 8-3 going in to the more difficult window, split those games, beat NE and be 11-5 headed to Florida.
Will Miami be no better than 12-4? Let’s hope so.
If we head there 10-6…hmm…boy.

Pats win puts the Bills into first place in the division thanks to the tie breaker.
Pats have a chance if they can corral Hill and Waddle.. The Big key is if they get pressure on Tua like they did Allen they may get a few more sacks and or picks..
Should be funny the thread in here with people getting mad at the Pats screwing it up. Lol

I’ll say this for the umpteenth time. Next season he’s 35+. How man mid to late 30’s dudes are there making an impact in this league. He’s washed and we’re stuck with his boat anchor contract.
Next year is the last year, PayDay. It is not ideal if he doesn't come around, but he is still a guy they have to keep an eye and and it is fairly painless to get rid of him after year 3.

That was funny donuts. Not sure the ethics of dropping shorts and turn to the right and cough will make it unless in the tent. 😂All,kidding aside, Jeremy and Joe were discussing the topic Friday morning. Jeremy made a good point, there are already professional flag football players on highly competitive leagues. They are better suited than some nfl guys to play that sport. I coached it with my sons for years along with youth football. The tactics are very different.
Besides it’s disrespectful to the flag guys to just discard them for the nfl guys.
I might be in the minority, but although I’d never substitute real football for flag, it is fun to play, coach and watch. There’s a lot of strategy in coaching flag. It’s very different than tackle ball. The similarity though is it’s a lot like chess. You keep trying to outthink you’re opposing coach and deploy you’re resources to keep opening holes.
Guns, I agree and no lie I am down with not only flag football, but Olympic flag football.
Huds knows my one and only angle was to please him comedically with my response.
Hell, I will watch almost anything if it is competitive and played by people who know what they are doing.
Do a search for videos of pro dart tournaments. Holy mackerel it’s nuts. Good stuff.
And yeah, it is very different and I am not sure how much nfl guys actually add, if anything.

It boggles my mind to imagine Josh Allen playing behind Will Wolford, Jim Ritcher, Kent Hull, John Davis and Howard Ballard.
it would be “Josh Allen: The Record Mutilator.”

At the very small rural school I attended in western Pa growing up, we played flag football in place of "real football" for cost and enrollment reasons, and it was still a ton of fun. Emphasis on speed, longer developing passing routes (hardly any pass rush usually) and barely any running game to speak of. I'd definitely want to watch this in the olympics, but agree with others upthread that it's not apples to apples that the NFL guys would automatically be the best flag players as well.
In my hometown we had flag pediatricians.
"Hold up, hold up, hold up! I know you're supposed to be the pro here, but 'drop your head and cough' just doesn't seem to be accurate, my Dude...and you're tryin to take notes with a thermometer...uh-oh...oh boy."

Is 10 Wins enough to make the playoffs? What is the path to 10 wins?

The road to 10-7 is not impossible for the Texans and I think they would leap frog the Bills if both teams were tied at that mark.
Yeah, the North will eat each other up a bit, but you could still have 3 teams going from there, two in the South and then the two other division leaders.
It's going to be tight.
