  1. Maybe (and this is a big maybe TC, and pure fantasy speculation) Tyrod, Glenn, 21 and our second rounder and maybe something in 2019 for 4.
  2. Just to be clear, BR, my thumbs up was for you and not necessarily for Barnwells' moves, which I agree are a little basic. You did a nice clean job with your disclosure, too.
  3. I liked them while they were here and I absolutely don't miss them now that they are gone.
  4. I truly thought at the time that when we moved up we were getting Wilson. I would not have taken him in the second round, but I thought he was good for the third...worried he would be gone in the fourth. I won't deny hindsight, but I also won't deny that even back then I am unfamiliar with any planet other than this one that would draft Graham over Wilson. Losman over Rothelisburger (with the opportunity) For those matters, Whitner over Ngata...I was visiting my friend in CT (a board member here) during that draft and we were just stunned when Ngata wasn't the pick. I don't think we spoke for about 30 seconds.
  5. Nihilarian I gave you a thumbs up because I was high on Allen in the fall, then he dropped off, then I dropped off and now everyone's running from him, but I am coming back around. Yes, the completion percentage is a big issue, but if the Bills don't move up and he is there at 21 or 22 I'd really consider taking him.
  6. I dig it. Let's bring the Payne! I love me some Alabama Defensive Linem.......oooooooohhhhhhhh, wait a minute.
  7. Yolo, no reason for anyone to believe me, but honestly, in the lead up to the draft I was thinking that I would have taken Wentz first overall if I were the Rams. ...this news is a little disturbing as I respect Mayock a bit.
  8. Keep Fitz Move up in the third round draft Russell Wilson (a guy many of us liked in the third or fourth round) instead of taking Graham Wilson replaces Fitz towards the end of 2012 ...it would have been so easy. Would we get the same Wilson of today? I don't know and I don't care, the same way I didn't care in analyzing us NOT getting Big Ben in the draft.. We just plain would have been better...in both instances. No rocket science involved.
  9. I got it, Sean, I just would have liked the Brad Pitt gif to go with it!
  10. Tremendous, my friend! I haven't had that come up years here.
  11. Yeah, just saw: 2.9 yards per carry the last two years, and less than 1,000 total yards rushing. ...1,402 yards in 2015.
  12. That, CB, is interesting. hmm. Didn't he have a little bit of a rough season this year?
  13. I just got rid of it last week. Shady, I have a young child and there is only so much space on the DVR. I still have the victory of the Patriots at home, the home victory over the Vikings, the home victory over the Raiders (same year as the patriot victory), and both the re-broadcast and documentary of the comeback game. Throw in the 30 for 30s and documentaries on the Four Falls, the 1983 draft, Jim Kelly, as well as the NFL Network documentary on the Bills' SB years, plus the finish of the Bengals game this year and the local news stations covering the day the Bills ended the drought and the most recent Bills documentary "Playoff Caliber"...and...well, I think that's it.
  14. It honestly would be a shame, given how good he has been over the course of his career, if Bree's only got to the Super Bowl once. Yes, his cap number is high and it probably has been hard onNew Orleans over the years. However, the Saints have been more fortunate to have him than the other way around.
  15. The Bills were last in the top two in 1985. It is rare to be up that high and I can't imagine, in a year that is deep with good QBs, that the NYG would trade out of a spot that would potentially keep them set at the most important position in sports for another 13 years.
  16. If my math is correct, and I believe it is, the draft is literally infinity days away.
  17. Alpha, normally when anybody waxes poetic about O Line you are always going to get a thumbs up from me. In the back of my mind their is always that thought of, 'the hell with it, pick OL with one out of every first two picks for a few years and fill in everything else around that."
  18. If you hold your thumb up to the screen you can fix that.
  19. Honestly, I just can't imagine this team not only have two rock solid starting CBs like White and Gaines, but also having them play together for 4 years.
  20. One more thing and please forgive the "would have, could have, should have", but I honestly believe that if we had a healthy EJ Gaines we maybe pullout that CIncy game. ...maybe we end up 10-6 and maybe we're going back to KC for the playoffs.
  21. bf, When he first went down (in Atlanta, I believe) I knew that was going to be trouble for us and surely was when we went to Cincy. As WGR mentioned this morning we were 8-3 with him and 1-4 with out him and although I truly don't think that you just plain win or lose games at the CB position that is still a pretty darn impressive stat.
  22. Guys, I'm just throwing it out there... I never want to over pay for CB, but I know it is extremely beneficial to have multiple good ones. That said is 9 million dollars really that outlandish for Gaines? Anything above 10 million for a quality CB I believe becomes a little bit more questionable and there is no way I would have paid Gilmore what the Patriots are paying him. However, can't we reasonably fit it in and sign Gaines to a 4 year deal and then before you are potentially in line for inking White to a new deal couldn't you possibly trade Gaines or cut him during or after three years? I know we may be dealing with some dead cap money, but in return we get a premier set of starting CBs for the next 38-48 games. One last thing is the idea of building this team and I don't like that we got someone really good and a draft pick for Sammy and really only ended up with a draft pick and a rent-a-player.
