  1. "Now we can get rid of Shady!" Said no sane person...ever.
  2. I do think this sets up nicely for the Browns and I really do believe at this point they will not trade 4. I think it really does appear that they get the best player Barkley at 1 and get at least the third best QB or better at 4.
  3. I was at both. Man, I was in a box and had food at the Oilers game, but I just can't remember why the hell stayed for the Colts game. i believe tasker blocked it.
  4. Todd Collins and the Bills erase a 26-0 deficit against the colts to win 37-35. I think it was '97. One of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. Bills fans don't talk about this game enough.
  5. Interesting. valid, too. I still would want someone to show balls and confidence, even if they lose.
  6. @kdiggz @matter2003 diggz, in just a few posts your personal insight on this was really well written, to the point, and much appreciated. Thank you. matter, I hear you and I used to love doing decline bench, but lately I've seen some lifters and read some articles weary of the positioning and the stress of the bar throwing your should Sr higher up in the socket. In no way would I qualify myself as a lifter and given my advancing age (later 40s) and my previously diagnosed shoulder condition ( father and brother had shoulder surgery and I was told 20 years ago I'd need surgery in about 10 years) I try to be extremely careful when I lift. Personally, and I am not saying this for everyone but it has worked for me, I do a number of shoulder strengthening exercises on lighter weights doing inner and outer rotations. I make sure that I properly balance my workouts between my chest and back muscles as overdoing the chest pulls and rolls your shoulder forward creating a greater chance of impingement (one of my big problems through the years). When I bench I make sure my back is arched and my shoulder blades arand punching in, opening up and properly positioning the shoulder joint. I make sure my arms angled 30-40 degrees from the line of the straight bar. I also do reasonable weight and I don't go too deep when I drop the bar to my chest, sometimes even doing dumbbell presses on the floor. As an alternative I sometimes do pushes ups, using proper form, but also angling the push-up against a bench or something higher to work the lower chest in the manner you would in a decline bench. Furthermore, I do landmines with a bar in the corner to work my shoulder and upper chest, replacing an incline bench. No surgery yet and I just plain feel better. Again, it may just be right for me.
  7. Multiple people for me, Nuch.
  8. Please Jim, be alright. Prayers to you and your family. This disease can go F*** itself...I'm so sick of it.
  9. It certainly is crazy to think that this team is 33-31 (plus 1 playoff loss) since 2014 kickoff in Chicago. If you only read the stats of this team, including roster moves, and weren't shown the record you would swear you were looking at information from a 20-44 team, at best.
  10. SNYfan I hear you, buddy. However, I do stress that they don't have an injury and I know there are other ways to see them, but the main thing being they should always. be ready. and willing. to throw. If they are church goers and someone grabs them after Sunday mass while they are in a button down and wearing loafers and asks them to throw I want them to say, "give me the rock, the pancake breakfast can wait."
  11. If we plan on moving up and we can't do it in one leap I would like to see Denver get Cousins, trade up to Denver's spot and then see if we can get to 2 or 3 from there. Again, that is unless we can do the whole ball of wax and get up to 2 to 3, depending upon who is available.
  12. I am amazed at how some of you guys were able to get so much information out of an interview that apparently took place on a walkie-talkie. I had to lean in so far to hear what he was saying that my computer speakers may go to HR and file sexual harassment charges against me. Red 2 tell me when you're a little closer to the Death Star so I can hear you better.
  13. I know I am late to the party on page 5 with this and I get why Darnold and others guys would do this, but I still think this is such a cop out by top prospects. If you are a QB (supposedly a great one) and you are healthy you should always be ready and willing to put the ball in the air. As a matter of fact and I may be going too far with this, if you show up at the combine and you are not injured I would make it mandatory that you participate in all facets of the combine, including the workouts.
  14. Sabres getting shown up on the trading deadline. nice move. I will miss Gaines, but this lessens the blow, may even be an upgrade according to some of you.
  15. I am not putting this on the OP, this is just a general comment: Why in the world do we see multiple speculations of this guying being cut loose when he is arguably one of the best guards in all of football the last three years and has easily performed to the level of his contract, which is going into its last year anyways? Maybe trade him? For what? We're going to be happy with a 4th rounder for a three straight year pro-bowl player?
  16. No sorry required at all, my friend. My "ridicule" of DC Tom's great straight to the point explanation was on page 5. ...and granted, this subject is not football related, but this is not a great look for someone who is asking someone else to pay them millions of dollars.
  17. Since the end of the season I've been on board for a one year six million dollar deal for Matthews. However, I'm worried that if teams discount what happened to him last year with Buffalo he may be able to command an 8, possibly even Wood-territory 10 million per year. That obviously isn't going to happen.
  18. Tom, I am just kidding. My bad as I was going to continue on by saying that we need to call our probes back that show us in a 9 planet solar system...probably would have made my position more apparent. I posted here earlier with respect to Geno's position.
  19. ...and I will say this, science told me we were in a solar system with 9 planets until science told me we were in a solar system with 8 planets.
  20. Keep your voodoo science to yourself, Poindexter. - ...this has just made me chuckle this morning. This is so ridiculous.
  21. I don't doubt Pete's opinion on Esch in the OT. However, and I know this may be an unpopular position, but in the last couple of years I have honestly cooled on the whole idea of it being of utmost importance to have tremendous pass rushers. Don't get me wrong, I know they are "important"...but utmost? IMO, not necessarily during a time in the NFL when it appears that all QBs seem to be quickly getting rid of the ball, rushed or not. Additionally, they are usually very expensive after awhile. Maybe I've been spoiled lately in Buffalo/McBeantown, but give me a three down LB, a good CB (or rather a very stable dback group of 4) and a a man-eating DT before a pass-rushing DE.
  22. Chuck, respectfully less dollars is less dollars and sitting for a year is unlikely to help him going forward.
  23. at mid-season if he signs anywhere for 2-3 million dollars and catches 4 balls a game he is getting great cash going forward in 2018. ...now he's just a guy who should some talent previously and was out of football in 2017.
  24. He lost a year of his career. He lost a whole year of getting paid. Remarkable.
