  1. One thing, though, kdiggz that I forgot: who looks Kyle Williams in the eye and tells him that we are gutting the team and/or telling him he was traded to the Browns as it was the best offer?
  2. Boy Looper, I don't know. His passing was nice, but he does seem to lock on to receivers. On the TD inside the 10 it almost looked like he could have dropped the snap as he was staring at his target before the play even started.
  3. Well said. I definitely think we are better than the Dolphins. However, I also definitely think it could have been 1-1 with them if they have a healthy Tannehill.
  4. If we can convince him to hang on to the ball all the way to the endzone we might have something.
  5. Yeah, I agree with this, No. However, with that caveat that I don't believe AJ dooms us, we just need a lot of help in other areas. Honestly, guys, even though we are traditionally good against Tannehill are we 9-7 if he is healthy last season?
  6. I know it may be stupid as it is so obvious but I am a big fan of this. Hell, even go to the other thread, the one that dealt with Mills/Nate when he is inside the Bills own 10 early in the game. Yes, the pocket collapses very quickly, but man just two steps up buys him the time and the follow-through to hit the WR (which I honestly believe he would have as his throws are generally good when he follows through and has time). This isn't for the purposes of propping up Petterman. It is just frustrating when subtle, 2-5 foot shifts in the pocket would "save" a pass play. More often than not it seems like lately there are only two options if you are still going to throw: stay IN the pocket or completely abandon it for open water to see what might pop up. The great RBs, like Shady, are so very good at that spatial awareness. I just hope our QBs will gain that feel for what's around them.
  7. IF they do that then I believe for sure they are going for a QB of the future at 2.
  8. How many times can they do this to this man? Vicious, brutal disease.
  9. I've said this for awhile...granted I could be wrong, but given the money that was put into the renovations for New Era and the general cost of a new stadium I just don't think this organization starts breaking ground on a new stadium (wherever it may be) any earlier than 2021-22, with the plan of opening it for the 2024 season.
  10. He would definitely not be the same player. He would have a new contract negotiated at the time of the trade which would give him fat stacks of cash which is part of the point of playing football. Not just necessarily being in a great system with great coaches where you are the back up cheering somebody else on. I am not saying he's worth it and I am not saying anything bad about the guy. However, it is just the reality of it. I mean what if the guy blows out his knee in spot duty this coming year? Someone once told me it is better to have that happen at 3 years, 60 million with 25 million guaranteed than on a 7.5 million dollar deal. ...or I read it in a book.
  11. BB, I swear i was going to write THIS before I came across you post. Tremendous!!
  12. The only thing is I have this feeling the Bills don't feel the same way. Additionally, I have an even worse feeling that the Browns are just not going to let go of that #4. Allen (if that is their guy), Barkley, Landry...I just don't see them passing it up. The Broncos will take Rosen at 5.
  13. Well...I guess we're drafting a safety then!
  14. I wouldn't believe it if my own mother came to me with the Top 15 of an NFL team's draft board. Considering she has been dead for 15 years would make me even more suspicious.
  15. I am annoyed and tired of being so torn between 5 picks and getting the second best QB in the draft at 2, assuming the Gmen give it up. If if the distance between 1 and 2 at QB is much less than the distance between 2 and possibly the 4 th QB at 12...and they love the guy, then go get him if you can.
  16. I'm a grown man and I want to cry a little bit.
  17. Yeah, who was that Jets guy? Those were tremendous. Patriot Killa we seem to be running low on QB draft prospect threads. Please start 10 of them. welcome.
  18. @BadLandsMeanie as one Catholic board member to a board member son of a Catholic who sounds pretty darn special, thank you.
  19. Petes I demand you take away your up vote from me (if you feel like it). I really didn't think of anything else when I typed it, but if you've heard that firewall one before I hate the idea of plagiarizing another members efforts, even if accidentally. ...and the infusion of BBMB members has been a tremendous boon and benefit to TSW. The Bills tried to shut us down, too, but you can never stop an idea!
  20. Is there any chance there is a meteorological explanation on why this is completely ok? it almost worked for them before.
  21. Some of us long time members were considering building a great big fire wall to keep you guys out. ...in the end we couldn't decide who was going to pay for it.
  22. Man, that is rock solid truth, GB! thumbs up.
  23. Ok, here goes. 1,1, 2, 3 in 18, 1, 2, and 5 in 19. too much?
  24. Badol, honestly solid points. however, please forgive my knit picky comments: Marshawn is great but unless he busts it out in the next two years at Oakland I don't think he is a HoF. There are 11-12 retired guys in front of him with more rushing, some with less seasons that aren't in the hall. Yes he had a great impact, but I believe the new standard is at least 12,000 yards rushing and at little more than 10, 000 now I don't think he gets it. Also, not a real good receiver, averaging a little more than 20 or so grabs a season. Also, willis isn't 10,000 yard back. He comes close when you add in receiving yards, but still not there. was honestly surprised though...the guy had 4,537 yards rushing in his first 4 years with Buffalo and Baltimore and he only needed 10 more yards in his 3rd full season with the bills to have made it 4 straight 1,000 yard seasons.
  25. Just seeing the pay this morning is brutal news considering my post yesterday. Woods' release later this summer would have covered 3/4th of it. damn shame...damn shame, because it would have been a boon to our D and insulated us if any of the three CB went down. Can you imagine having Gaines, White and Davis for less than what New England pays Gilmore. @TPS
