  1. Diggz, then I have your back for sticking to your guns. I'll admit I toyed with the idea in my head before the start of last season and had we sunk early on, I would have said let's trade Shady.
  2. kidggz, the only way to have assuredly achieved that would have been to trade Tyrod and Shady before the start of last season. If you clamored for that to achieve the goal of picking at the top then I have your back on it for sticking to your guns. Otherwise, even if things fell differently last year I still think we would have been about a 7-9 team, or somewhere around 13th. Th last time the Bills finished with the Giants equivalent 3-13 was in 2001, 17 years ago. The last time we trumped that was 34 years ago in '85 (2-14). ...it is just not easy to suck so bad and even missing the playoffs for the 18th year in a row would have likely put you still outside of the top 10. Therefore, I'll take the playoffs unless someone/something could have assured us of a 3-13 record or worse.
  3. I don't know if it is the richest, but New Orleans sent their entire '99 Draft out the door to pick Ricky Williams at 5. 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, in '99 and 1st and 3rd in 2000 to Washington.
  4. There have been too many wise, thoughtful and up voted newbies around here lately for my taste. ...I'm feeling inferior. It is almost like I have complex developing associated with the way I feel lesser than others...I don't know what to call it.
  5. ...and if we find out his true passion is painting...just cut him.
  6. Most of these guys played back when it literally said in the NFL rule book: "Pass Interference: Is totally cool. Any physical assault on a wide receiver in motion on a passing play shall not only be encouraged, but rewarded."
  7. This is setting up so perfectly for Cleveland that there fans should be jumping in Lake Erie to celebrate. They're going to get the top QB in the draft and even if they choose not to get a generational talent at RB at 4 they are almost certainly guaranteed to get the very best player at the next position off the board. It just more and more likely seems like QB will be 1,2,3. Is Chubb the best player in the draft? Is Barkley the best player in the draft? Either way, Cleveland is likely to get one of the guys considered the best player in the draft at 4.
  8. Does he wear his wedding ring when he plays?
  9. Man, DFT, what were you thinking when they were 5-1...because I was pretty damn fired up.
  10. I hear ya, DFT. BTW, when I say "blame", what I mean is that they curse the Bills for not nurturing or developing Edwards the right way. I personally think that is a little over the top, supported by the fact that he didn't succeed anywhere else. However, I do at least recognize what they are saying.
  11. @The Red King RK, it is a good point. One other thing, really tangential to this, is there are many Stanford alum who blame the Bills for generally wrecking Edwards and that we wasted the potential he had.
  12. Great. We still don't have a pick in the top 3 and now I'm hungry. i hate this place.
  13. Dude, who the hell are you and why do I want to follow you to the four corners of hell carrying a six pack upon your command?! ...and also what does it feel like as of this moment to get absolutely every comment you've ever made here get up voted like you are the Gridiron Ghandi*? * please note I just came up with that, love it, may copy write it, but you can use it for free. EDIT: Additionally, if you tell me these aren't the droids I'm looking for my weak my mind will have no choice but to tell you to move along.
  14. Kzoo, as long as they get a QB that they are high on then I'm good. If they love A guy and can get him I have no problem with picking 5 potential starters/heavy contributors at other positions, with current emphasis on LB, WR and OL.
  15. I know its simulated, kzoo, but I read these and went immediately back to doing my taxes as it was just a tad more fun. if I die and the only QB we get in two mocks is lauletta please put me face down in the coffin as it will be too hard to roll over due to my size, the coffins size and the fact that I am dead.
  16. Today is a a different day and that mother f***** is cra-cra for letting the Jets move up. Um, hey Beane, the Rails just called and they’re wondering where the hell you went off to?! Now if you don’t mind I need to go shave my head with a cheese grater, chew on some tinfoil and scream “what’s the frequency, Kenneth” at the top of my lungs as I finish my manifesto. Just kidding. Wouldn’t it be weird if I was really like that? Trusting the process over here.
  17. Rosen at 12 and Evans at 22. done. wow...that was easy.
  18. Note to self: Stop watching Dateline with the Mrs...my lif depends on it.
  19. That's interesting. would they? I want them to get their guy, but I love having this picks.
  20. Look, Allen isn't necessarily my guy, but I was speculating this morning "what if their guy falls and we don't have to trade away anything?" That said, NDB, their guy (if it is Allen), 2 LB, a WR, Price and a tackle...would be a very sweet draft and a lot of what the doctor ordered (and that's just the top 6). Told Bagel from these Boards just a bit ago that we need two LBs now in the draft and he concurred.
  21. Ice he is not the answer, but he will do well by them, especially with what they are building upon. They may be able to go anywhere from 5-11 to 7-9 with him. If it is just plain 5-11 they should be thrilled.
  22. Hey Ice, hope all is well. Congrats on the Landry pick up, sorry about Jordy.
  23. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/star-lotulelei-12294/ Huh...granted I had help from a range standpoint due to the Carolina article, but I nailed it. pure speculation turned into fact.
  24. Gentlemen I respect you all greatly and thank you for your input. That said, no thank you. Because as of this day, or rather as of yesterday, March 14, 2018, I am happy. I am more than happy. If I may quote the great Tom Landry, "I am some where between peachy keen and tickled pink." Beane has done a great job..so far, and that's the point. I am loving what he has done so far. I am not waiting for the next thing because the next thing hasn't happened yet. After that there will be another thing (pre-season), then another thing ("who is starting opening day?"), then another thing ("we should make the switch now before the season is over") and so on and so on, and if you keep pumping the breaks before getting excited before you know it you haven't even reached the finish line and the race is over. LAST DECEMBER AND NEW YEAR'S EVE WERE GLORIOUS AND I HAVE LONG SUFFERING BILLS FANS AS FRIENDS THAT HONESTLY MISSED IT...SERIOUSLY, THEY JUST PLAIN MISSED IT, BECAUSE THEY NEVER LET THEMSELVES GET EXCITED...THERE WAS ALWAYS A REASON OR A LIMITATION AT THAT POINT IN TIME TO WITHHOLD THEIR JOY...UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE. Quicker than I'd like to admit I am going to be turning 50, and more and more I am realizing life is day by day and that I should enjoy each single God loving day, because there are fewer in front of me than there are in back of me. March 14, 2018 is one of those special days...Brandon Beane is one of those reasons. Go Bills. @rodneykm @mead107 @{::'KayCeeS::} @billsfan11
