Thanksgiving Day football, no Bills talk
dollars 2 donuts replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hap, I love ya man, but holy mackerel that is epically and generationally soul crushing to a fan base, especially against a division opponent. i think even the admin would be willing to take the hit. That was simply a terrible loss for an organization. -
Thanksgiving Day football, no Bills talk

That really just happened. On the planet earth in the year of our lord 2024 a remarkable instance of universal stupidity occurred and even though I have no horse in this race I am actually mad over it. -

First ever TNF game flexed in Week 16
dollars 2 donuts replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's something crazy, how about 2 Thursday night games? A 6:30 start for early bird and 9 (or 9:15) start for the Broncos - Chargers. Just a little bit more of an extreme change on times than we've seen with two game weeknights previously to get as much viewing in to each game. No way if the kickoff for the original game was 8:15 that everybody is not going to already be there at 6:30, or at least most of the people. -
I know we love to dig on the Dolphins and Tua, but honesty if he doesn't get hurt I think they are at worst 5-5, but likely 6-4. Would they be challenging us? No. However, they would be in a playoff spot right now. They are not a great team and they certainly don't have good things coming up on the horizon, but I still think Tua has some talent and leadership, and some skill at some spots. They are going to be "fine" with Tua, but they just won't break through.

December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year
dollars 2 donuts replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve had it as the hopefully last loss for a few weeks now. I also was of the mindset that even though the Chiefs were undefeated at the time, 14-3 should be enough to do it with a victory over KC. Nothing has changed. This chiefs team going 5-2 checks out. -
Sojo, I am a self admitted and self diagnosed Bengals Fear Bunker Guy. Yeah, they look bad...good, I don't want anything to do with them. Not. One. Thing.

Is the "new" Curtis Samuel here to stay?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shakir, Cooper, Coleman and now Samuel. Bad things, man…that is some pretty bad things for opposing Ds. Mack Hollins: “Sorry, I was busy showing people how to change the oil on a lawn mower. I make some plays, too.” You do, buddy, you absolutely do. That’s why we love the five of you. -
I’m not going to knock on Mixon and the assessment that he was a loss to Cincy checks out. However, in my modest opinion the Bengals giving up the 3rd most points in a 32 team league is the main reason why they are where they are.

72 Dolphins and Dolphins fans, you know what…you are welcome.

i can’t even wrap my mind around the fact the Bills likely get Coleman, Kincaid, Carter, Brown and Milano back for their next game. five guys…one game.

Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
dollars 2 donuts replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, GUNS and Royale. SBF, I understand what you are saying, but I cannot get it out of my head that even if he hated it here worse than Dante's Inferno he has only 7 games left plus playoff games on a Super Bowl contender with a generational QB who can only make his life after this season better. So some may be seeing something, but it just doesn't mesh with reality. Go Bills. -
Kincaid update? (now declared OUT for Sunday)
dollars 2 donuts replied to JMM's topic in The Stadium Wall
85 just plain catches the stupidest balls. I will guaranty you that at some point while here Morris will catch a ball that first hits the back side of his head. Go Bills! -
I don’t mean this sarcastically and I don’t mean any disrespect, but I honestly thought he passed awhile ago, for some reason about ten years or so. This makes this a double shame as I liked him quite a bit growing up for both USC and the Rams and also felt like an opportunity was missed to appreciate the guy while he was here when I already thought he was gone. One of the last of the old coaches of college ball.

Well said, John. Also, I am not going to bet the farm on this, but I believe that Marv Levy is one of the few (if not the only) Coach who had a winning record against Shula for coaches who have faced each other at least 15 times. Additionally, his last game as a Coach was a loss to the Bills. Good times. However, I will give credit it where it was due and earned...I believe Coach Shula was a good man, both in football and in life. Go Bills!

Ed, your Dolphin hatred is deep. As a Bills fan it is kind of a turn on. I believe I can even smell your manly musk through the speakers of my computer, and I must profess a willingness to follow you to the four corners of hell carrying a six pack if you so desire. Well done, Sir. Well done indeed. Go Bill!

Bills are 8-2 for the first time in over 30 years
dollars 2 donuts replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well said, HUDs. I am still also holding out hope for 14-3, or a possible table run if we are able to get some bounces our way and get guys back for Detroit. -
…that as much as the Bills have owned the Dolphins franchise recently and how since the end of the 70s streak Buffalo is 56-39 against them the ‘72 Dolphins (and their fans) last real hope this year to drink Champaign (Patriot regular season aside) is to cheer for the Bills. Go Bills* (* normally it’s me, now it’s them)
-
He's not gonna play. If he plays I swear I'll eat two slices of New York style thin crust pizza with pepperoni, fresh out of the oven live on YouTube with a medium Pepsi Zero light ice and in a comfortable chair in front of a large screen tv.* (* I don't like to get crazy with my bets)

Week 11 SNF. Jets - Colts flexed out for Bengals - Chargers
dollars 2 donuts replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
My goodness what we dealt with in 2019 with the last Jets team that was The Team (on paper). it’s a sin what the football hierarchy did to us with the Jests this year. They were a terrible team that had proved absolutely nothing for years with a geriatric QB and a couple of names, but yet they get treated like Super Bowl contenders. No, Mitch Greenberg, this was not the biggest letdown in football history…they just never were that good. -
Bibles of truth and knowledge spread there, Dr. PJax! The last of which was the Bills! Thank you for sharing, all the way around. i am one of the few who is mad at Poyer because of what it might cost us. I believe even if we punted we still would have won in OT and I’ll take the record field goal and the win. Go Bills!
