Lauletta or Rudolph? Who is the better prospect?
dollars 2 donuts replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm a grown man and I want to cry a little bit. -
Yeah, who was that Jets guy? Those were tremendous. Patriot Killa we seem to be running low on QB draft prospect threads. Please start 10 of them. welcome.

Petes I demand you take away your up vote from me (if you feel like it). I really didn't think of anything else when I typed it, but if you've heard that firewall one before I hate the idea of plagiarizing another members efforts, even if accidentally. ...and the infusion of BBMB members has been a tremendous boon and benefit to TSW. The Bills tried to shut us down, too, but you can never stop an idea!

Is there any chance there is a meteorological explanation on why this is completely ok? it almost worked for them before.

Some of us long time members were considering building a great big fire wall to keep you guys out. ...in the end we couldn't decide who was going to pay for it.

Badol, honestly solid points. however, please forgive my knit picky comments: Marshawn is great but unless he busts it out in the next two years at Oakland I don't think he is a HoF. There are 11-12 retired guys in front of him with more rushing, some with less seasons that aren't in the hall. Yes he had a great impact, but I believe the new standard is at least 12,000 yards rushing and at little more than 10, 000 now I don't think he gets it. Also, not a real good receiver, averaging a little more than 20 or so grabs a season. Also, willis isn't 10,000 yard back. He comes close when you add in receiving yards, but still not there. was honestly surprised though...the guy had 4,537 yards rushing in his first 4 years with Buffalo and Baltimore and he only needed 10 more yards in his 3rd full season with the bills to have made it 4 straight 1,000 yard seasons.

Just seeing the pay this morning is brutal news considering my post yesterday. Woods' release later this summer would have covered 3/4th of it. damn shame...damn shame, because it would have been a boon to our D and insulated us if any of the three CB went down. Can you imagine having Gaines, White and Davis for less than what New England pays Gilmore. @TPS

Browns will be better than....

It annoys me that for whatever the reason, and it is probably a good one, the Woods retirement hasn't been put to bed. granted it would have been only 2-3 extra million dollars, but maybe it would have been enough to bring him back. White, Davis, Gaines, Hyde, Poyer and bush for depth? Are you freaking kidding me?! WR receivers around the NFL on the BIlls schedule in 2018 would not want any bit of that s*** sandwich.

kidggz, the only way to have assuredly achieved that would have been to trade Tyrod and Shady before the start of last season. If you clamored for that to achieve the goal of picking at the top then I have your back on it for sticking to your guns. Otherwise, even if things fell differently last year I still think we would have been about a 7-9 team, or somewhere around 13th. Th last time the Bills finished with the Giants equivalent 3-13 was in 2001, 17 years ago. The last time we trumped that was 34 years ago in '85 (2-14). ...it is just not easy to suck so bad and even missing the playoffs for the 18th year in a row would have likely put you still outside of the top 10. Therefore, I'll take the playoffs unless someone/something could have assured us of a 3-13 record or worse.

Highest Trade-up Compensation

I don't know if it is the richest, but New Orleans sent their entire '99 Draft out the door to pick Ricky Williams at 5. 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, in '99 and 1st and 3rd in 2000 to Washington. -
Is there a rush to judgement on Peterman?

There have been too many wise, thoughtful and up voted newbies around here lately for my taste. ...I'm feeling inferior. It is almost like I have complex developing associated with the way I feel lesser than others...I don't know what to call it. -

Is there a rush to judgement on Peterman?

Most of these guys played back when it literally said in the NFL rule book: "Pass Interference: Is totally cool. Any physical assault on a wide receiver in motion on a passing play shall not only be encouraged, but rewarded." -
Charles Davis 3/22/18 Mock Draft.

This is setting up so perfectly for Cleveland that there fans should be jumping in Lake Erie to celebrate. They're going to get the top QB in the draft and even if they choose not to get a generational talent at RB at 4 they are almost certainly guaranteed to get the very best player at the next position off the board. It just more and more likely seems like QB will be 1,2,3. Is Chubb the best player in the draft? Is Barkley the best player in the draft? Either way, Cleveland is likely to get one of the guys considered the best player in the draft at 4.
