  1. I just threw-up a little bit. I've posted elsewhere here that Miami terrifies me because I believe they have no idea what they really want, how to get it, and it will end up costing US in some way because they are...well...crazy and clueless right now.
  2. Logic...spot on, buddy.
  3. Wise points. It's funny, BR, we convince ourselves to think like McBean and then we just plain get too excited thinking about this QB pick. ...we all need to try harder to channel our inner McBeane.
  4. I couldn't agree more. Regardless of the moves they make McBeane are ("is" if you consider them one animal) the Black Knight in The Holy Grail when it comes to trying to win.
  5. I got to say Allen, too. Some would be happy, but the majority would be very disappointed, for the reasons that have been speculated for a while now. However, the guy was a pre-season favorite, had a poor squad around him and does have some upside.
  6. Come on guys, you are better than this. Some of you who have responded with just the name give me your reason why.
  7. I know it's hard to believe but a lot of you here at TSW have pretty strong opinions on who they want the bills quarterback to be. Don't research it, just trust me. Now 10 days before the draft if you were able to unwrap your mits around your QB crush without going ballistic and entertain the possibility of another QB leading this team in the future, who would that be and why? I have perseverated over this as much as the rest of you, but maybe not as passionately. That said, I have been loving me some Baker Mayfield since the mid-fall. I think he is a winner, competitor, leader and good passer. However, if a group of you b**** slapped me and told me, "NO, PICK SOMEONE ELSE!", I think I would anxiously go with Rosen. Are there flags? Yes, but I just think the obvious about what has been said about the kid...he is the most NFL football ready and I will take that. Oh, btw, I know ripping other board members and questioning their humanity and worth on this planet is always a rollicking good time, but maybe we keep that to a minimum and focus on why YOU are picking who you are picking. It will make this thread much shorter, but hopefully better. EDIT: not critical to your response in this thread, however I am thinking about guys who will have a chance of being there when the bills pick. I just don't think, as others do, that Darnold is anywhere in the picture, regardless of moving up, as I expect him first off the board.
  8. American-Brazilian...nice job K Dubs.
  9. You know, CBF, at first I thought he wanted to be released and that might still really be the case. However, he may just want the Bills to "honor" his service and not have to give his bonus back. Either goal is unlikely achieved while in a straight jacket laughing like Woody Woodpecker in the corner.
  10. SNYF, laughing at "chafed a lot"! well said, Sir!
  11. SNYF, let's bring Richie back and have a real party!
  12. Cba, loved her on Firefly and in Dead Pool.
  13. I need...GMs and personnel people to start asking better questions during the combine. or at least have Vince Vaughn as Trent from Swingers around to just sort of sniff out some of these characters.
  14. Quiz time: name the only other first round QB drafted in '83 that didn't take his team to the Super Bowl besides O'Brien? one more: who is the only AFC super bowl QB from the 84-93 seasons that wasn't a member of the class of '83?
  15. I absolutely hear you and great points. Additionally, i know I am probably wrong with this point, but why do I have this feeling that once he's back in the league this sort of martyrdom phase will be over?
  16. Agreed. I just have this feeling that Lauletta is going to end up in a Patriots uniform.
  17. Curse this world that I can't up vote this post more!
  18. I don't know why but this is just the greatest post of the week for me. I've read it 4 times and i can't stop laughing. Nicely done, Jauronimo.
  19. Similar story as some of these on this end. Some Seahawks fan was ripping the Bills in the playoffs on Twitter and I responded: "You know if you tilt your head and squint your eyes just right you can make it seem like Seattle made the playoffs." It's not that we can rub other fans faces in it, but that we can give them a quick five with the backside of our hand if they give us any lip. It's so sweet.
  20. Indeed and I agree 100%, it's why you and I don't play in the league, and skill trumps everything else, otherwise let's throw everybody out of the league who beats his girlfriend, does drugs or drives drunk. I don't mind there being a standard, H2O. It's the double standard that is the problem. ...and this coming from someone who has been a red dog republican for more than 31 years now.
  21. I have no problem with this guy kneeling and I have no problem with people being upset about this guy kneeling. He can voice his opinion and other people are allowed to voice theirs. ...but enough of this already. This is American and this is an NFL caliber player who deserves a job somewhere in this League.
  22. After his further antics later this morning/today I am extremely comfortable with this guy never wearing the red, white and blue of the Buffalo Bills ever again.
  23. Btw, WD, there is no way I read the above and didn't hear Ron Swanson's voice in my head. i would give quite a bit to have him do all Bills pressers!
  24. Agreed. I don't care if he is as crazy as hatter. We are better with him than without him and it is just 1 year.
  25. Over a three year period he averaged 4,000 yards and 25 TDs, with highs of 4,200 yards and 27 TDs. i don't want the guy, I don't think about the got, but if absolutely forced to I'd take those numbers. They are easily a better team with him than without him. I'd put closer to the middle which just isn't that bad. Franchise? No. Workable? Yes.
