  1. Yolo, I am with you. 2 weeks before the draft I don't even think he tells his wife the truth. i just wonder whether he has that extra John Butler chromosome wherein he already knows what almost every team is going to do in the first round. sort of famous, but maybe urban legend, wherein Butler picked every first round pick for each team.
  2. Boy, HD, do you really think he is going to slide? Of all the smoke screens I don't believe any that has him falling out of the top 3.
  3. Actually, Shady, I don't whether I need this process done as the minutiae is just getting to a breaking point, or I'm going to miss it once the pick is made. It's like Christmas: there are all these possibilities and it is great when the day comes, but once you have what you have all the other doors are closed...and then we wait for OTAs.
  4. Not worried, Ctown. I got a lot of hair.
  5. Do you have a hairy chest and good razor? because I think, as a Board, we have a few more things to say...or write...or shave.
  6. You guys can senselessly banter back and forth all you want on who the Bills are taking first, but I'm done. Early next week I am going to wake up, shower really well, shave, put on some sensible clothes with a little Bills bling (maybe a cap, sweater or a pin) drive down to One Bills Drive, ask to meet with Brandon Beane, and when they let me in to see him I will mention that I am a fan, supplying proof with this thread: and just kindly ask who the Bills are picking and promise him I won't tell anyone. What the hell can they do to me? I technically at that point haven't done anything illegal. Worst comes to worst they throw me out and I get chicken wings up the road. ...however, after that it gets a little dicey if he says no. I will then proceed to tastefully unbutton my shirt, letting them know in advance that there's nothing to be worried or concerned about with respect to my actions. I will then reveal a hairy chest (which I have as well as a hairy back, neck, legs, etc.) and shaved into that hairy chest will be the letters "BB". He'll laugh and say, "is that for 'Buffalo Bills' or 'Brandon Beane'?", and here's the kicker, I'll say (wait for it...wait for it), "both!" I love you guys, but after he tells me "the move", offers me some Bills swag, a beef on weck and a photo op with Kim and Terry, I will go home with my mouth sealed and sleep well with my secret every night until the draft. So, enjoy Mayock/Brooks Mock Draft 5.0.
  7. Don't necessarily disagree with you, BB, but man this all depends on the Giants and whether they go QB or Chubb/Barkley. Hypothetically, if Darnold goes 1, and Giants take Rosen at 2 I find it unlikely for the Jets to pass on Mayfield at 3. I still believe some of the Allen top 3 hype is just that...hype. Dolphins terrify me a bit lately at 11 because I think that is the team that doesn't know whether it wants soup or salad at the buffet.
  8. It's a tired dinosaur whose time has passed, maybe especially now given the advent of the #metoo movement. I like pretty women as much as the next guy, but regardless of whether they love doing it or not maybe we should strive for something more for our daughters and sisters than jumping and twisting while scantily clad in front of thousands of potentially drunk and obnoxious people. The recipe is a bad one and the taste it leaves behind is absolutely bland as a seasoning to the game you watched. Don't believe me? Then search you memory for great moments in cheerleading.
  9. This is a cluster f***. I am wavering. We should have over paid a bit and at least gotten to three, with then having a more reasonable option to pay pimp fees to the NYG if they wanted to threaten giving up #2 to somebody else. ...I'm just so tired of all this.
  10. Even though it is the 11th is it too late for the Browns to be interested in Olaf Pilor?
  11. Please, Dalton, you are obviously unaware of the "random thought that pops into Bills fans' heads regardless of fact or reason" card which is being played lately, much too much.
  12. A little bit more, probably getting them over 40, when EW's retirement is finalized.
  13. LA, because people want long careers with great high paying contracts after their rookie deals expire. They know they will go to losing teams, but it sucks if you go to a team and your head gets caved in like a Florida sink hole because (john doe) at left whatever is still "figuring things out" and the receiver you just hit between the numbers is suffering from the whoopsy-daisys. i love this city (born, raised, and still living here) and I love this team (long enough to be in attendance when OJ was running for TDs at Rich, pre-murders), but nobody looks forward to that at the start of their career, and nobody...nobody hopes for it.
  14. This. I am super optimistic about this team's future, Doc. I also still have no problem with them trading up and I will stick by my thread as the Bills being division champs in 2019. However, no way do I want our 2019 first rounder to be on the table. I love my Bills, but that really may be a top 10 pick.
  15. Jeepers, MB, I didn't even think about Joe D because he was already in. So true...took FOREVER for one of the greats to get in. Also, what about that Green Bay Packer that just got in this year after sitting forever?!
  16. Reuben Brown is a 9 time pro-bowler and isn't even really mentioned too much. Sorry, Richie, not going to happen.
  17. If I were one of these quarterbacks in this years draft I'd be so excited to play for the Bills; throwing to ghosts and blocking supplied by ether. Plus you get to live in Buffalo, so there's that, too.
  18. I dont think you're wrong, WD. so weird, I know I am not the only who watched everything leading up to the draft and thought that Wentz was better, while pro-progs had Geoff almost universally first.
  19. Got it. We'll put you down as "TBD" Boca.
  20. You Son of ...just kidding, kdiggz. Your prerogative on QB for your record. Guys, maybe you already know this, but again, I'm talking 2019, not this coming year.
  21. I think our 2018 drafted QB has a year under his belt and is ready to let loose. i think we are thick with fat stacks of cash for free agency for key pick ups. I think Brady is either retired or pulling his face into a ponytail ala Jerry Jones and is at the end of the line. ...and after falling back just a bit in 2018 I think we are division Champs at 11-5 in 2019. and if you can't stand this thread and think it is a waste of time to think so far into the future I can maybe edit the title and OT into a "Which QB we are going to draft" or "which team we think is going to c*** block us." Bonus prediction? 1,200 yards rushing for Shady as he goes over 12,000 yards for his career and 1,200 yards as well for Kelvin Benjamin, but through the air.
  22. Tannehill was out the entire season. when all is said and done I believe that is it.
  23. Check my edit. I'm not countering your answer above, Joe. Just added some more thought to what I had written.
