  1. Agreed, K-9, and I am with them on that. The stadium will get built in due time. 130 million was spent on improvements to New Era so let's get full use out of them until 2023.
  2. It's a freaking joke. ...and there's the punchline. NFL elitist scheduling jerks.
  3. I love the Bills, and I still think they stand a good chance at starting the season 3-5.
  4. If you don't think the NFL scheduling three games here again December isn't a message to the Pegulas to get going on a new stadium then you're just not thinking.
  5. Hmmm... well...NFL schedule makers I feel like punching you in the face. ...and might I add something dirty happening to you and the horse you came in on?
  6. Sullim, you and I need to hang out and drink beers. we are pretty darn close on our first 5.
  7. 1. Cleveland - Allen 2. Giants - Chubb 3. Jets - Mayfield 4. Cleveland - Barkley 5. Bills - Darnold
  8. ...with little left in the tank, but still will be demanding 5-7 million per.
  9. NFL Schedule Maker: Ahem...Well, Buffalo03, what you fail to understand is that the demographic breakdown inertia *cough* with a flux of variables to television markets *choke* and discernible data, of course ignoring Southern Ontario as they don't count as people demographically *foot shuffle* has left us with an undeniable outcome of a handful of teams getting six prime time games a year, and we begrudgingly have to give you one..so...we're good, right? Buffalo Fans, in general: You do know there is about 5-7 million people within two hours of here, right? NFL Schedule Maker:...this conversation is over...F*** You.
  10. I wasn't even going to come in here if there were just four exclamation points. Five though...that's a head turner, baby. I honestly don't understand why this guy would play for anything less, or why teams would even pay him more, than 8 million per year. It is 80% of our remaining free agent budget, and I would assume he is still trying to even get more. That is just a number I pulled out of my Buffalo Bills backside. No.
  11. Why did I watch this? Seriously, why the hell did I just watch this?! Like I thought the outcome would be any different or just to remember how torturing it was?
  12. I'll buy that quip for a dollar. Nicely done, Shady.
  13. Part of me truly believes this. However, the other part of me wants to find out where you live and heckle you all weekend long, just outside the perimeter of your property line. I am sure you can respectfully appreciate that.
  14. I'll tell ya, I'd take even a simple 1,100 yard annual rushing average from this guy if he were to stick around until the end of 2022. He would be third all time in NFL history, ahead of Barry Sanders and behind Walter Payton. 8,800 rushing and likely more than 10 or 11 thousand all purposes yards as a Bill. ...maybe occurring in 2022 around the same date as when we are putting Eric Wood on the Bills Wall of Fame.
  15. Considering the 50/50 possibility of my ensuing death I am not sure how to respond. Oh, WTH...you got a thumbs up, BLM!
  16. Wow, neat stat I stumbled across going over historicals for this thread. The Bills are 2nd in NFL history with the most seasons leading the League in rushing (7). Chicago leads with 16, but they have been around almost twice as long.
  17. Additionally, to some of you do you feel Freddy should go up over Shady even if Shady passes him?
  18. Ya know what, I really want to hear more peoples' opinions, but WEO may have just broken the thread right there. Brilliant, Sir. Brilliant.
  19. I am Catholic, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out suicide...so, this one is a toughy. ...Oh who am I kidding. Like I'd miss the chance to have spaghetti parm, with mushrooms and meatballs and extra sauce on the side at Chef's 20-30 more times before I die.
  20. Biscuit, that is an honest opinion. Seriously, thank you man.
  21. Change up here before the draft. I have stated elsewhere on TSW that I badly want Shady to stay a Bill for at least the last two years of his deal to hit the 12,000 yard mark, a milestone no Bill has ever hit. I have grown to love this guy as a back on this team and to me, and I believe to many of you, he IS a Buffalo Bill and even the face of the Buffalo Bills, therefore I really hope to have him stretch his achievements in the red, white and blue as much as possible. When you start to look at his numbers as a Bill they really are impressive. Even with the injuries in year 1 and missing the last game in year two he has 3,300 yards rushing and 1,096 yards receiving (141 receptions) for 27 TDs, with an average of 102 yards rushing and receiving in each of his 43 games. Are they mind blowing? No. However, think of the Bills teams he's played on and how important he is to their offense and their overall success. He is currently the Bills 8th all time leading rusher and with an average season of 1,150 yards he will be fourth. If he can maintain his average from the last two years he will pass Freddy for 3rd all time on the Bills rushing list at the end of 2019. I hope he can at least get to the end of his contract with the Bills with at least, 5,700 yards rushing, 250 receptions (1,800 yards receiving?) and maybe 50 TDs and (please) another playoff appearance with his first playoff victory. I think he has shown a fondness for Western New York and I would like his time here to continue to be memorable. What say you? ...Oh, and 8 days and counting. EDIT: BTW, given the numbers I've stated above I think he gets into not only the Bills WoF, but the NFL HoF as I believe that 12,000 yards rushing is the new sort of standard for entry into the Hall (and I know guys have gotten in with less, but I am just saying).
  22. Dome for the reasons stated. secondly I did a quick scan of this thread and may I honestly give my compliments to TSW Board members as I did not see the words "hosting a Super Bowl" anywhere in this thread. It always sort of annoys because it sounds ridiculous. The weather yes, but Buffalo also doesn't really have the infrastructure to host an event like that (hotels, etc.).
  23. Agreed. Yolo I would love to get 3 starting OLinemen in the next two years. Dawkins, Draft, Groy or Draft, may be Miller, Draft ok, maybe 4.
  24. Indeed. That guys was sacked more time than a stuttering tenor.
