  1. I have fond memories of those, too, but I believe as you know I was being sarcastic as buffaloes are everywhere.
  2. How does the graphic designer with the artistic eye not see that the Falcons logo is shaped like an "F"? He makes a good point with his praise of the Saints logo being a symbol around the city of New Orleans and giving it points for that. Truthfully, we really don't see a whole lot of buffalo or "bison" representations around our city...we need to work on that.
  3. I know you probably already know this given the above, but it amazing that the Ninja guy recently said he makes upwards of $500k a month. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-03-19-fortnite-twitch-streamer-ninja-is-making-usd500-000-a-month
  4. It it will be interesting. Six TEs on the team, besides Clay and O'Leary how many make it and which from Thomas, Croom, Towbridge and Lee?
  5. Cap tracker at Spotrac has us at about $50 million in 2019, with 60 guys under contract (only the top 51 count). Keeping in mind that is excluding the cap increase (13 million dollars?) and our rookie pool money.
  6. Like Foster and a couple of the other guys, too, but surprised it took this long to mention Boettger, given the the state of our oline and the fact he wasn't drafted due (I think) to his injury. I'm with you, Barbarian.
  7. Of of all the previous things about Rosen THIS is also the one that maybe matters the most. i just think there would have been little chance to see Rosen staying in Buffalo after 4-5 years, even if he had success here. That's a guy who wouldn't ever consider himself blessed that he is a Buffalo Bill and part of this community. That's not even primarily the "d**k factor" on Rosen which I've brought up before (please, please, stop with this "he's going to challenge authority" crap). I just never saw this community being part of this guy's world.
  8. I am a happily married, heterosexual man...but I love you.
  9. Forget about Sully or Bucky on sports...THIS is the real headline going on here.
  10. Yeah. I've been here 15 years and I've never been really conscious of the idea of reporting on anyone. Probably knew new it was there, but never gave it a thought.
  11. His comments make great sense considering the that MacCarron and Alex Smith are th exact same QB, with the exact same talent level. ...ridiculous. Protect the QB, but the team still has to play meaningful football. Not right to sit him if ends up being the better QB early on.
  12. Deleted my post because I thought I might have been wrong, but they indicate he signed in 2011. I will keep checking. EDIT: You are 100% correct. My bad. It was his second deal with them, it appears.
  13. On one bills live they mentioned that he looked good, but tanker added he has all the physical abilities and runs great routes but doesn't have great football instincts on getting open. i liked this signing and if you've seen the brief videos on this young man...whoa!
  14. I couldn't agree more. It is weird to think of how pleased I was when that guy got a deal that took him away from the Bills. pleased because he always worked so hard and it paid off for the young man with a reasonably sweet deal (4.5 million or so per, if memory serves) for a guy who at the beginning didn't even seem like he'd make it a year or two in the league. Edit: From Spotrac- 4 year, 21.1 million dollar deal, with a $5.3 million signing bonus and $11.3 million guaranteed.
  15. This is one of the most classic examples of TSW. durogatory comment, followed by a "but I'm here for you." love it. Thank you, Virgil.
  16. @corta765 This...may have been one of the best researched posts I have ever read on TSW. Well done, cheers and thank you for the effort, Sir.
  17. Yeah, I believe there is a little difference between ownership interest and controlling interest. If he had one half of one percent I doubt there was an control or voting associated with it...not that it would make that much of a difference at that level of ownership, anyways.
  18. I can read about it, but I don't have to hear about it. ? Bocce-Balls, so these are the new emojis/emoticons! I couldn't see them when posting on my ipad.
  19. Horsey sauce is what we get when God smiles down us. Again, I think they are fine with not making a dime or even losing $ slightly, while remaining competitive...as long as they stay SUPER RICH, which they can do by not investing in a new stadium.
  20. I'm not kidding, I sometimes think of it, too. However, I just love that movie and Kim is an attractive female owner so...it just sort of goes together. Similarities end there.
  21. People never want to hear about how the sausage is made, and we never do around here because of how smoothly things run without realizing the effort that a number of you put into this place. I'll never tire of saying it...thank you.
  22. Good point. $500 mill could give us a sweet ride. Not everything that everyone wants, mind you, but still a nice rig. However, you have to also think of the expense of road access.
  23. I know I may be in the minority here, a new stadium would be cool, but I am fine with keeping the stadium, keeping ticket prices within reach and not out of range for me to consider, and having owners that are super rich and can make lucrative moves that help the team on the field instead of being pauper's like Sullivan was in NE, or hearing Ralph say he had to sell a painting to be able to sign players in free agency (which I didn't believe, but still, didn't like hearing it).
  24. Someone told me awhile back that he had half a percent. If so his cut would have been about $7 million at the time of the sale.
