Sammy Watkins was the number 3 WR on the Rams. Number 3 WR, not third in reception and yards...in those categories he was fourth. He did lead them in TDs. I'm not just saying...it just is. Good luck to him because he does have a lot of talent, but if it doesn't get unleashed this year or the injury bugaboo gets him again...hmm...that's a lot of money to spend on just anticipated greatness.

People leaving out a stat that I believe I was the only one to ever bring up (not a pat on my back, just that I've never heard anyone else bring it up). ...When he retired in 2007 he was the last player in the NFL to have caught a TD pass from Jim Kelly. December 16, 1996 in a loss to Miami. I actually think he was the last player for awhile, if memory serves. It may have been as early as 2002 or 2003 that he held that honor.

Respectfully and more importantly, what are we worried about with Josh Allen at QB? A. Deep Ball: how he has the ability to wing it almost 80 yards. B. Mobility: how he has the great ability to move around in the pocket and make plays happen. C. Size: How he has the God given size of being a prototypical NFL QB. D. All of the above.

The things is it was kind of a huge story that the longest playoff drought team ended its streak last year, as well in spectacular fashion with the Bengals win helping them get in and the whole Dalton foundation/ bills mafia thing. Bills followers or not the story made the national news (albeit as a result of former buffalonians in the national media)...so how do these guys, covering the NFL daily, just not remember that?

Interesting that he was a Philly sportscaster who would commute for the Bills games. It's like if Joe Buscaglia were the voice of the St. Louis Blues. I guess it really was "SEE YOU...at the game!", because you weren't going to see him around town.

I disagree with absolutely nothing you said! I know we are looking at choppy waters in our near future, but man, the way this team is being built and then watching them fill some of the holes this year and having a number of options next year makes me feel more optimistic than any other time in the last 18 years.

Ya know, Soda, every time I want to feel good about Vlad I remember back to the video that I have seen where he just gets blown up. I would love better than him, but yes if he can barely compete or just plain hold his own I would be fine with that.

I've stated my position before about this on how I just can't imagine this team being worse than 6-10, but more so that I can't imagine that a team with this defense would sink to the bottom of this league and to the top of the 2019 draft. That said, I think some of the national talking heads are giving a ridiculous amount of credence for the success of this team being an offense and a QB that was 29th and 31st (?) in the league, respectively. If Shady goes down...maybe you book this team under 4 wins. However, Chan's 4-12 team was simply dreadful (starting 0-8) and yet they were still 4-12. While Williams' 3-13 was the result of being gutted and having literally nobody. ...yet this team and this staff are going to finish around 2-14?

Great points, North, but I still just have a hard team seeing this coaching staff and this defense be clues in trying to win more than 3 games. BTW, as bad as the Bills were during the entire 17 year drought I believe they only had 1 3-13 season...and some of those teams were utterly dreadful, top to bottom.

I don't know why they didn't check him out sooner. Isn't having your balls deflated one of the symptoms of PEDs?
