  1. Aristocrat, I know that and believe that...However, I am just curious about the family's wishes and the circumstances of them agreeing to this. Is it a money thing or did they truly want this? I am not claiming anything nefarious, but I would just like to know. My questions in my post are not off the hook and not out of the ordinary. Eddie is a great guy. He loved his players. It is actually moving. However, how does this come about? Would you expect your mom to say, "Aristocrat, I'd like you father to be in Montana...next to a goal post...where we can not visit him that much.", should you guys live far away.
  2. Ha...Lurker, though, I'm ashes dissipate. A body is kind of...permanent there. Hey man, if it is what he wanted, fine. Just...different. I'm getting old...I remember watching that TD live.
  3. Why would he? He's not even a Buffalo Bill yet. Ba-dum Bump!
  4. I know that...I'm just saying. Even if it wasn't it would be absurd to do it.
  5. Ok, no offense, but what? Does his wife live near there? Was money an issue for a burial plot for him? It's one thing to be buried at Candlestick (macabre, but still), but buried next to the goal post in Montana...did he want this?
  6. Corta, I read the thread title and before I came in I thought of this game, the Pats game. This was a kick to the teeth. Especially when the went for it on fourth up by more than 20 points (I believe). It really was Belichek letting, not th Bills but the fans, know what he thinks of us.
  7. When you you get right down to it he was a top 10 pick, paid a lot of money, wasn't injured and produced literally nothing. That is tough to beat.
  8. Man, there are so many good bad players on this list I don't know which one to choose as the best worst one.
  9. Ok, but please hurry with the hat, because I cannot hold this for long.
  10. Well said, Rubes. He has some great skills and some great intangibles. I also think, given the additional talent that team now has, he will lead them to anywhere from 5-11 to 7-9. Man, it was just time here to move on from him and his limitations. Regardless of how long he continues to be a starter, that is a man who is/should likely remain a QB in this league until he is 35 or so. He brings something to the table that would help a number of teams in some capacity.
  11. I love this League and its various talking heads where if you don't have a QB who throws for the 300 yards and you don't have ministers of sack then you are s***. It's so tired.
  12. There is nothing like taking to Twitter to rag on and expose the failings of your spouse, and father of your child. It's like...oxygen. You just need to do it. Classy is as classy does.
  13. OTAG, you made me laugh...then I cried a little bit, but then I laughed some more. trying to wrap that around my head is not the babooshka I want to be wearing heading into the season.
  14. Promo, I am asking you, but I am really also asking everybody: what does this mean for the tunein app on Alexa? I believe that is going away, too. I love having alexa for listening to GR and I have no idea whether it will find it with the radio.com. Not to put you ont he spot, my friend, just hoping someone knows.
  15. That loss alone, at that stage of the season, kept the Pack from getting home field advantage all the way through the NFC playoffs, and maybe cost them a Super Bowl appearance. I would have loved to have seen that Packers team take on the Pats in the SB...and possible erase from history the interception at the goal line. On top of that the Pack has also never won a game at Rich Stadium, The Ralph or New ERA Field.
  16. I clicked on this, read "150 days" and I almost started punching myself in the face as hard as I can. Then I saw it was from April 19. I thought Mr. Peabody snookered me.
  17. "ALL HANDS ON DECK! Because our left hand doesn't know what the heck our right hand is doing...right hand, where'd you go?!"
  18. I'm a battery. ...I'm just a damn battery. ?
  19. I get text messages that just plain disappear. If I don't see it when it comes across then they are not on my phone. They sent me the message that Sabres C ROR traded...and then...nothing. I went to go look online or via twitter to see who or what he was traded to and for.
  20. CB, we are sooooo close to half way through the deadzone. Tick tock to the 3 week mark and the down hill slope of the pre-training camp blues.
  21. I absolutely don't disagree with that, at all. Also, again I said "maybe" partially based upon the guy getting a number of starting reps. The other part being they seem to love this kid, regardless of what happened during the season last year. That may change dramatically in training camp, but over the Spring and early Summer his share of respect and look-see from this staff.
  22. Some of you guys can hate on this kid all you want, but when the rubber hits the road in September he may be you game one starter. ...that's not hyperbole, and I am not saying it's right or wrong, it just is what it is.
  23. Over Washington off the top of my head, if memory serves me.
