Bills sign LB Keenan Robinson, roster at 90

OK, OK..."His and his wife Lauren." -
Julio Jones is not going to report to Camp.
dollars 2 donuts replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maj, I can't believe I am typing this, but I am with Julio on this. This isn't the old days of contracts "sign and we will see you at the end", especially when the player's are as talented as Julio. It's just the way it is and in this case...I get it. -
Julio Jones is not going to report to Camp.
dollars 2 donuts replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is due $12.9 million this year, including his bonus. He has made about $47 million in the first three, giving him close to the average of what is going on now for top WR. However, with this year's 12.9, it starts to pale in comparison. Honestly, I bet he is looking for something that locks him into at least 16 million per (or more), with another 30-32 (or more) million guaranteed. -
Prisco: Bills to go 3-13 (start 0-8)
dollars 2 donuts replied to HansLanda's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I respect your opinion, aristocrat. However, I feel that if they can't move the ball they will be 2-6. If they are dreadful all year, they'll finish at 5-11. That is a lousy record, but not necessarily the bottom falling out as 3-13 implies, even though it is just two games difference. The optimist in me would like to see them go no less than 7-9. -
why aren't the rookies reporting early?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Commish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know, this is still such BS. This process was briefly streamlined for a bit due to the adjustment in rookie contracts. Now, we are still looking at a bunch of guys around the league not signed days before camp. Maybe they should just lock in the money in the future and be done with it. How long after the draft was it before Dahlin became a Buffalo Sabre? A week or two? -
Forbes - Bills have one of NFL's 10 Richest Owners

Pegulas tied for 8th, but still only the third richest owner in our 4 team division. -
Man-o-man, cynical, they sure fooled me!

Nate Davis: USA Today 2018 Season Projections

When you're looking to weed out from a list of champions, yes. I disagree when it almost comes down to, in this instance: worst or questionable QB = worst team. Indy is only a slight anomaly in this. They have Luck, but he is a question mark until they see how he comes back...but the team is generally bad at everything. On paper the Bills appear to have a solid defense a year after making the playoffs (wherein they had the League's best playoff defense), but that gets them to being the 2nd worst team overall in the NFL, regardless of coaching, and a 3-13 finish for only the second time since Reagan's 2nd term? ...I'm not buying it and he shouldn't be selling it. I will reiterate, no way am I saying playoff runn. Unlikely on a winning record, too. 3-13? Preposterous. -
Nate Davis: USA Today 2018 Season Projections

If (IF) we go 2-4 in our division this year does anyone really see us going 1-9 against the rest of the NFL? I believe we are 10-10 the last 2 years. -

We have been 3-13 just once in the last 32 years. Does anyone really think THIS is the team that is going to equal that mark? -

What's worse, you guys, or rather what is BS is if the Bills finish 6-10 or 7-9 and we get a "see, I told you they'd be bad.". No you didn't as the team won either 100% or 133% more games than you said they were going to win. -

Let me translate: "Anything that you here coming out of our mouths having to do with the importance of defense, or other facets of football don't mean diddly. Your entire worth in our eyes comes down to who your quarterback is and how many TDs and yards he is going to throw. Everything else is meaningless to us." I think we are a 5-11 to 7-9 team at best. However, the castigating of this team over that position (which I would like it to be better, too) and the idea that everything depends upon it is silly. EDIT: Picking 2nd overall, though, WOULD be pretty sweet. -
I don't disagree with this, however, I'd love to see how some of these young offensive linemen turnout in a few years, likely somewhere around this League. Btw, why do I get this feeling that the coaches and the front office may have a modicum of optimism about this line?

I'm stupid. I thought this meant he is "...already there.", as in he is getting everything down and understanding it.

Has no one brought up Farrah Fawcett's 1977 red one piece bathing suit poster? -
This is all the result of the money the ncaa makes on the backs of these student athletes. Why not make the ncaa a not for profit, or better yet change their by-laws to have them divest themselves of all but a small bit of profits with the rest to go back to education and schools that need it or even charities that help students or student athletes?

I wanted to bump this thread. I was worried about it getting lost in the minutia of all the other pre-camp threads going on. -

That said, I originally wanted to ask why when I read your post. The jeweler is apparently the one with the most to lose, as the items are his, expensive and no one has paid him for them. Don't get me wrong, Doc, as this is an unlikely move by probably a lot of the jewelers that we may know, but this is a different world.
