  1. Is is there any consideration that they did? I've been curious about this, too.
  2. Respectfully, your post is out of context with what has been going on with Zay since he returned to the field. His seriousness to the position, work ethic and performance has made him, even now at this late stage, one of the surprises of camp according to Sal. Additioanlly, he apparently has also been working continually with the ones, which tells you what the coaches think of him.
  3. If you would have told me three years ago, Juice, that the smartest guys in QBing in 2018 would be Jordan Palmer and Dan Orlofsky I’d have called you nuts. ...three years ago.
  4. Your post above so far has 32 varied up votes, including one from me. Bravo, my friend, for nailing it simply and directly.
  5. It's weird to up vote bad news, but I know you get what I mean when doing it, PT!
  6. Royale, in my older brothers day he had worse than I did. I never complained. None of us could. We just had to take it...if we wanted to be men. MB, pee-wee football is back more now than I ever noticed it before. Part of why I notice it is because I witnessed at parks, late in the fall, practices seemingly going on until almost 9 o'clock at night. I turn to tell my wife, "you gotta be kidding me?!" I've also seen videos, I think one may have been from HBO's Real Sports, where kids in pee-wee get their bell rung by another kid and the coaches are laughing and high-fiving it.
  7. I knows it's not college and I know it is tangential, but Dave back more than 30 years ago in high school they would actually call you a baby and p***y if you were thirsty during double sessions. You had to beg for water and you were looked down upon for doing so. If you didn't want any part of that you weren't a man. ...ridiculous.
  8. About 10.7 million right now, 16th most cap space I. The league, but they usually like to keep a buffer, and there could be cut down day signings. good question, but I would image if they want him bade enough they could make something work. Guaranties and such. Edit: my bad, 11.2 million, still 16th though.
  9. Shouldn't he start because it's his turn? Not to be overly simplistic about it, but it makes sense. Then just throw in the fact that he has been playing well.
  10. However, we do know that something is wrong and his practice in the three weeks before the start of the season would appear to be limited, at best. If this were Jim Kelly I would have no problem with him practicing just the week before the start of the season. However, to miss let's say even just two weeks now...no way do I let him start against Baltimore, unless Peterman and Allen take tremendous steps backwards.
  11. Yolo, to be honest with you if they wanted to keep their privacy a bit longer I don't find a single thing wrong with her coming out and saying, "my husband got a multi-million dollar contract and I've been celebrating with wings and bon-bons." ...I, for one, would not judge her for that or give it a second thought.
  12. Thank you, Inigo (btw, love the avatar...one of my all time favorites). Additionally, don't get me wrong. I believe in Allen, but there is a little bit of queasiness about throwing the kid out there. I will say this, what I didn't mention above is that there is a bit of "Trust the process" in my opinion. In other words, if they don't put him out there then I trust that they just think he needs a bit more time.
  13. Respectfully, high tide raises all ships and steel sharpens steel. It's why the potential pick six on the out pattern with Peterman turns into a 8 yard completion and a second and two for Allen. It's why 3 sacks and or a pick for Peterman behind this offensive line turns into 1 sack, 1 scramble for 5-7 yards and a 3 yard td pass for Allen. Allen has to play a bit smarter to avoid taking some hits, but he is our best chance to win and he is showing the ability to make his teammates, oline and receivers alike, look better. Secondly, I don't love the idea on planning on softies in the schedule because that changes rather quickly in this League. If he is the best, or as the saying goes "first I will be the best and then I will be first", then get him in there and let him see on the field what it is like to play a good or anticipated good defense. I for one think it will make him better and sharper in the long run.
  14. The one on the right. She looks preggers, too. congrats AJ and Katherine(?).
  15. Because Wilson is about to become a Miami Dolphin in exchange for a number 1, and two number 2s. i completely just made that up and it is based on nothing. let’s see how long before it ends up on NFL Total Access.
  16. I didn't see it above anywhere, my bad if I missed it, but I think he could honestly be his Kenny Davis.
  17. Ya know what, Epps, damn nature for doing this to Eric Wood, after which diagnosis and loss of his friend I also believe made Incognito go crazy a little sooner than we would have hoped. i feel great about this team now, but I would be somewhere between tickled pink and hunky-doory if they were both still here.
  18. Judgement Day in Terminator 2 was in August. Just sayin'
  19. Honestly, MG, I wonder if they are even going to put him on the practice squad. Doesnt mean they are 100% done with him, just that he isn't even in their top 61.
  20. Man, Eps, I know he is with somebody, but I don't know who...Chargers? This line scares me a bit right now.
  21. What the hell number was Geno again in NY? Not that he was memorable there, but when Allen snaps his leg and we start Geno first because Peterman stinks I'm having trouble getting the picture of him in Bills red, white and blue without a number.
  22. Let's risk him. Good call. Sanchez is better and at least knows the franchise.
