Us Madden players know he is speaking the truth. Regardless of them coming off a playoff year I believe they are the third lowest rated roster in the League in Madden 19...I thought we were going to get a break this year, but no. I don't believe they've been rated higher than 83 in any Madden season this century. It's a shame really as they have Allen playing with a high rated Shady, a reasonably rated Benjamin, and then you have Clay, Kerley, Zay and Coleman as you speedster. In that game it is a nice look that you can do things with...but the line sucks.

Man, EJ fumbled for the second game in a row and cook was terrible. Thst said, respectfully I don't think the Jets first and a good qb who is intended to be their back up gets in done. i wish this were happening in 2019 instead of now as we would have a better handle on our oline/receiver positions.

OT, not talking about a season's worth or even a full game. Just a little more than a half. It is Darnold's job in NY, with two other good qbs, and he was 8-16 for 1 td in the third game.

If he is 11-20, for a td, no picks and 120 yards, without making any glaring mistakes then I am perfectly fine with that. in other words he doesn't have to blow the doors off for me to keep thinking of him as the starter.

The damn shame of that injury is that he may never see the field in Cleveland and had he gotten them off to good start (and I mean even 3-5) he probably would have been brought in to be a starter somewhere else next year unless Cleveland wanted to keep him as security. I'd love to see this guy make 50 million plus over the duration of his career.

With the exception of the one playoff season (2002) and a 10 win season (2007) over the last 22 or so years they've suffered worse. They lost their team and were without football for 3 years. Their first overall pick in '99 was a wwwwwhhhhiiff (Couch)...oh, unless you think they ruined him. A number of first round picks in recent years who should be on this team are almost all gone because they shouldn't be on their team in the first place (we have one of them). Second 0-16 team in NFL history. Their 1-31 is the worst 32 games in NFL history. Their record in 19 years since returning to the league is 88-216 (4.63 wins per year). The Bills over that same stretch are 132-172 (6.94 wins per year), not infinitely better, but better.

I knew when I chuckled at Jay up above that Royale wasn't far behind. I enjoy you guys enough to feel comfortable borrowing money from you.

Respectfully, your post is out of context with what has been going on with Zay since he returned to the field. His seriousness to the position, work ethic and performance has made him, even now at this late stage, one of the surprises of camp according to Sal. Additioanlly, he apparently has also been working continually with the ones, which tells you what the coaches think of him.

Royale, in my older brothers day he had worse than I did. I never complained. None of us could. We just had to take it...if we wanted to be men. MB, pee-wee football is back more now than I ever noticed it before. Part of why I notice it is because I witnessed at parks, late in the fall, practices seemingly going on until almost 9 o'clock at night. I turn to tell my wife, "you gotta be kidding me?!" I've also seen videos, I think one may have been from HBO's Real Sports, where kids in pee-wee get their bell rung by another kid and the coaches are laughing and high-fiving it.

I knows it's not college and I know it is tangential, but Dave back more than 30 years ago in high school they would actually call you a baby and p***y if you were thirsty during double sessions. You had to beg for water and you were looked down upon for doing so. If you didn't want any part of that you weren't a man. ...ridiculous.
