I would honestly like to believe that the plan would be to try and put Baltimore back on their heels a bit. Not like as much as in the Carolina preseason game, but still...4 of the first 7 being passes.

We got rid of only one player, Cordy, and replaced him with close to equal talent. Woods life was at risk and regardless of what sort of revisionist history Nutjob Bonkerson is peddling, he walked away from this team before they had no choice (thankfully) but to release him.

For the last time, respectfully, the Jacksonville shooter was not a Bills super fan. He wasn't even a Bills fan. He was a madden player who entered the tournament because he probably thought he stood a good chance of winning it and most of the better competitors were trying to win better teams' tournaments. by winning the bills team series he could go on to the elimination tournament against other NFL team representatives. He made it through one round, I believe. He was, by all accounts, a Ravens fan.

Brian, I'm guessing here, but I also think we had a little bit more of a pick of the litter concerning rookie free agent OLinemen in Buffalo. Since these were the guys that could pick the teams they ended up with Ike chose Buffalo because of our poor oline situation. i think he is still getting over that injury (Achilles, I believe) and I like those Iowa linemen. Shucks.

I would have loved him, too, but come on guys. Seriously, how badly do we need those picks for our offensive line next year (not a question). I'll say it again, you are less likely to get quality OLinemen in free agency than most other positions. You have to get them in the draft.

I had to come in here and respond with "there is so much right with this post". personally, I need three potential starting OLinemen from the 2019 draft, because you are not going to get even one reasonably good one in free agency. When they are even half good they never come available, like the way WR and such come available.

From what we've seen of Allen so far, with consideration to the concerns people had with Allen coming out of college, does it look at all like he has been poorly coached? I know for damn sure he has been poorly protected, but his footwork, going through his options, and his decisions generally have been good.
