  1. Some boards get upset when posters post about their milestone, but I love it. This is home. This is family. Celebrate the occasion. Congrats Chandler!
  2. Honestly, BP, I believe I got a bit of that vibe from you, that you were just stating the national talking points. Please forgive me if it appears like I was gaining up on you. I didn't mean to do so. I was more so stepping on my soap box, for the same reason as your original post...I hate the narrative. Whether you, or anyone, knows or doesn't know, I just keep bringing the truth up about the guy. Obviously, I completely agree with you on your point above.
  3. Wow, Raoul...damn, brother. You are very correct. What times we live in. Two families without sons and brothers and one family without a husband or dad...one week.
  4. For the last time, respectfully, the Jacksonville shooter was not a Bills super fan. He wasn't even a Bills fan. He was a madden player who entered the tournament because he probably thought he stood a good chance of winning it and most of the better competitors were trying to win better teams' tournaments. by winning the bills team series he could go on to the elimination tournament against other NFL team representatives. He made it through one round, I believe. He was, by all accounts, a Ravens fan.
  5. Brian, I'm guessing here, but I also think we had a little bit more of a pick of the litter concerning rookie free agent OLinemen in Buffalo. Since these were the guys that could pick the teams they ended up with Ike chose Buffalo because of our poor oline situation. i think he is still getting over that injury (Achilles, I believe) and I like those Iowa linemen. Shucks.
  6. Darn it. I wanted him on our PS. I think he is going to develope into something.
  7. Could not not agree more. My hope: 2-0 and then 2-2 at the quarter.
  8. Cuts both ways for me. Glad he is out of the conference but not thrilled that an AFC competitor has 4 first round picks in 2 years.
  9. I would have loved him, too, but come on guys. Seriously, how badly do we need those picks for our offensive line next year (not a question). I'll say it again, you are less likely to get quality OLinemen in free agency than most other positions. You have to get them in the draft.
  10. The ron Howard AD voice over added at lot for me.
  11. There is so much right with this post I couldn't just give it a thumbs up. I had to come in here and respond with "there is so much right with this post". personally, I need three potential starting OLinemen from the 2019 draft, because you are not going to get even one reasonably good one in free agency. When they are even half good they never come available, like the way WR and such come available.
  12. We we kept the packers from home field advantage that year. Additionally, I believe we may have been the only team that was 4-0 vs the NFL.
  13. I peaked when they cut the chord.
  14. This is like watching paint dry if drying paint ripped your heart out, threw it on the floor, peed on it, and then made out with your wife.
  15. The moment he looked that way I just plain said, “No”.
  16. Already rocking the red, white and blue. I dig it!
  17. From what we've seen of Allen so far, with consideration to the concerns people had with Allen coming out of college, does it look at all like he has been poorly coached? I know for damn sure he has been poorly protected, but his footwork, going through his options, and his decisions generally have been good.
  18. After the Coleman transaction I wrote that I wanted Brandon Beane to have my babies, even though I am guy. Not only does the situation with the line make may back off that comment, but also if it were even scientifically possibly for us to have children they would be freaky looking mutants...not Beane's fault. The bad genes would be on me. (I am serious about the line. I know this rebuild was going to take at least 2 years, but just coming in with Bodine in the off season is a little weak)
  19. It is very unfortunate that game against the Chargers has derailed this young man’s life and shaken him to the core to such a degree that after this preseason he is likely our game 1 starter. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely agree with the OP’s original statement. I’m just impressed that this kid seems to be forged from harder stuff than that which might have brought others down. Go Bills, whether it is Peterman or Allen (unlikely AJ at this point),
  20. We need to get it out of our heads that there is going to be this plethora of free agent olinemen next year that we are going to pick from. If they're set to be FAs next year they are unlikely to stay that way. Rebuilding the line in 2019 must come from the draft and I don't care if the first three picks our RT, G and C. Other wise we'll be signing more Bodines next Spring.
  21. Spoiled elitist. jk, drought!
  22. BTW, Paulus, why isn't this an article about the Dallas Cowboys already being the worst team in the NFL after their 27-3 Sunday loss? Oh, that's right. It doesn't fit the narrative of what some people's own tripe on the subject.
  23. I freaking hate when the preseason definitively outlines regular season results. We should just give up and head to 2019. BTW, and I may be wrong, weren't the 2017 preseason Browns 4-0? EDIT: just checked. Yup, they were.
  24. @CLTbills OK, maybe too much, but here goes: https://www.xandolabs.com/conceptblockingsystem/member/olineblock.html
