  1. Gregg, keep doing this every week. I'm in. Also, think about recording it for YouTube, or putting it up on mixer or twitch and letting us know when you are on.
  2. Until I saw your comment I too was going to write I've never seen Peterman quit.

  3. I know, right? Jeepers creepers. If only he had the insight to draft a Tom Brady in the 6th round or Carson Wentz 2nd overall. Personally, even before he got there, I think the Broncos missed a golden opportunity to pick Eli Manning first overall in 2004.
  4. @YoloinOhio Yolo, wasn't he also quoted as saying during the same interview that he doesn't want his punter punting any farther out than inside the other teams 40 as he is worried about returns for a TD? Also that he is the inventor of the Hail Mary Running Play?
  5. Who could use him? Who is that close and needs a RB? Who has the cap space for the 14.5 million? For a year rental (seemingly) it could be as high as a two, but it could be worth it if you are that close.
  6. Yolo, buddy, I absolutely get this, and sympathize with the players getting upset. However, does this change anything with the Steelers? Before he said he was coming in were they about to pull the trigger on a trade for a new RB and he screwed them? Sure he said it, but he may have stepped back and been just down right pissed about his situation. He was out last week and he is out this week. I still believe he is coming in, though...could he be maneuvering for a trade, though?
  7. The thing is too, SouthNY, I believe last year they may have been able to get away with a 5 year sixty-five million dollar deal with maybe 32-35 million guaranteed and they'd be 2/3 of the way through the guaranteed money at the end of this year, depending upon how it is structured.
  8. Come on down under, you know you have to do that with the dumb and dumber gif!
  9. @SouthNYfan A RB's career is shorter as we know and these players live for that one big deal after their rookie deal. There is usually no substantial deal after that for a RB and the Steelers are robbing him or bleeding him of those best contract years by throwing him singular bones until they are done with him. It isn't right. I'm usually not on the players side (maybe I should be) but it just plain isn't right at all, and I'm not buying the "but it's 14.5 million, and he knows how this works" argument. Because he knows how this works and because it is a large amount of money to us doesn't make it right.
  10. Ah shucks, Vader, I didn't buddy. My bad. Editing shortly. I was scanning too quickly.
  11. CT, I think because it is the most bunker mentality of all the Leagues. The brotherhood of being in the trenches.
  12. Edit: the below is correct, but bone headed response on my part for not checking what MV was responding to. @Mark Vader No, a Detroit fan born and raised. Why do you think we played them so much in the preseason all those years.
  13. ...and you know they would kick him to the curb, and do you know what the overall reaction would be? oh well, that's the game. I am honestly the last of the bleeding hearts and I don't even like Bell, but it surprises the hell out of me how much I am in his corner on this one. They were F'ing around with him for two years, but now like a good little soldier he has to show up because it's time to get "serious". I don't blame him one bit for giving them the middle finger until the very last moment.
  14. Back to back playoffs, plus our cash, will bring the free agents. ...and it will feel great.
  15. @joesixpack Joe, it is not fair that we keep some of our friends in the dark. An internet and gaming classic.
  16. I have about had it. We know about all the recent switches by national prognosticators that have the Bills moving into last place with Peterman at QB. We know about the odds makers in Vegas betting "when is Peterman's first interception" and "what are the chances his first throw is a interception." We know about the "are the Bills already the worst team in the NFL?" article. Now (and sorry if it has been reported someplace else on the board) my friend texted me that an anonymous NFL GM has said that Allen will lead the NFL in interceptions this year. That is not a typo. Even though Allen isn't even starting from game one the GM still thinks he will lead the league in picks. Fine. Additionally, on other boards as our team gets made fun of I quietly handle the situation respectfully. Between us here...I am seething right now. The season hasn't even started and I have rarely seen a team get a national beat down the way ours has, a year after making the playoffs. I don't know what is going to happen on Sunday and I know many of you don't like Peterman. Nothing would make me happier, though, than this kid lighting it up against the Ravens. We take all this crap as black board material more than the team, but this is getting ridiculous. Swords forward. Let's play the damn game! Take them to the wood shed boys!!! LLLLEEEEEEROOOOOOYYYYYY NNNNJENKINS!!!!!! (yes, I do know the reference well...we will fare better!)
  17. 0 should have been an option, Eric. I get there is no 100, either, but still.
  18. I would honestly like to believe that the plan would be to try and put Baltimore back on their heels a bit. Not like as much as in the Carolina preseason game, but still...4 of the first 7 being passes.
  19. 6-10. I am comfortable in saying that they won't be 0-8 or 1-7 in the first half. I'm thinking no less than 2 wins. However, that being said I am also not turning around and saying they will dominate the second half of the season. 4-4 would be fine, with time in by Josh.
  20. If you are Milano's mom you probably are quite pleased with this poll.
  21. We got rid of only one player, Cordy, and replaced him with close to equal talent. Woods life was at risk and regardless of what sort of revisionist history Nutjob Bonkerson is peddling, he walked away from this team before they had no choice (thankfully) but to release him.
  22. Mike Gllislee sucks. He would be fourth on this team.
  23. We need to redefine the term "firepower", or maybe the word simply doesn't mean what I thought it meant.
