  1. The sad part is, and I say this with the utmost respect, Spanos may not have ever really known (or grasped) the team moved to Los Angeles, given his dimentia or Alzheimers.
  2. Thank you, Promo. What the hell, I mean I thought it was just me that noticed that.
  3. Regardless of his play on the field this weekend it probably would have been safer for him if had "WR" by his name.
  4. Agreed...I am just worried that someone is going to pick him up, though.
  5. I am not saying we beat Army with AJ back, Promo, but it just would have been a little bit...better. I am proud of this team right now and I believe (as we all should) that this will be the best UB season in FBS/Div 1A. ...however, I am worried I am going to get to the end of the season and wonder 'what if" with respect to going undefeated.
  6. I checked a couple of these quickly this morning. Of course some of them very. ...and of course they are a joke. However, I just want to be clear about this. I state this calmly. This is not directed at you Bills fans, this is at some of the guys making the list. They might want to lean a little closer to their computer or ipad screens to make sure you are reading this correctly. As bad as you might think the Bills may be the 49ers and Colts are not better teams than them. Not...OK. Seriously...seriously, just think about it and you will find that to be true.
  7. We would literally be trading away the best receiver on the team and definitely not getting an established wr back.
  8. I know,it is asking a lot and it there are a couple of good teams coming up, but I would love to see them run the table, finishing at 13-1 and in the top 25.
  9. I know now it is years down the road, but honestly...you can let this on go.
  10. It’s so funny...honest to goodness, Colorado, how can we be so bad at one position?! We are worse at Wide Receiver than McDonalds is at making spaghetti.
  11. Yes, because after his presser he mentioned that it is actually pronounced Josh “Aileen”
  12. We wouldn’t be The Buffalo Bills if we weren’t underdogs! amiright? Amiright?!! ...I don’t know what the hell im talking about.
  13. Unfortunately they don’t make gloves to put over flippers.
  14. Honestly, you guys, I am asking: has there been 1 “great”catch by one of our WRs this season?
  15. Hopkins just showing something that no one on our team is close to having.
  16. Too bad. if Ralph were still alive Harry and Jordan could be nicknamed “Wilson’s Phillips”.
  17. It really was Watkins, but I feel more comfortable saying Stevie, due to the numbers and lockdown he had on it. @BigDingus great post, BD.
  18. PP I love where your head is at, but Rodgers is so damn good (makes me almost wish we hadn’t traded up and got JP in 04 so we could have drafted Rodgers in our spot in 05...almost ) and he is a first ballot hall of Famer.
  19. Sean he has battled cancer twice, I believe, and although he keeps himself in great shape I bet he can’t even throw the ball more than 20 yards. Plus even with new rule changes he’s sure to crumble under some of the bigger pass rushers in the league, needless to say he is slower than...oh, I see what you did there.
  20. I am likely in the minority here but I think this is fine and I think people have to just deal with the fact that this is the way it is in football in 2018 and going forward. Sal, when he was subbing last week for tasker, said what has been said in a lotta places: kids are not playing football any more/ moms aren’t letting their kids play football anymore and the sport is at real risk for going away at some point in the future. This isn’t just about sacking the qb, but all these rule changes to help make the game safer. The players will ALWAYS eventually adapt and If I may paraphrase something we say around here when it comes to a particular local newspaper or radio station, if you don’t like what the game is turning into with these rules, then stop watching. Even though some players are gripping, too, doesn’t even remotely make them right. It’s time for some dinosaurs to become extinct to ensure the whole game doesn’t go that way in the future. EDIT: and I know the main thing some of you are concerned over is the consistency issue, but this rule is new and it takes a little time...for it to get better, not necessarily perfect because they still don’t even seem to get holding right all the time.
  21. Is there any chance that he could have meant that Phillip Gaines more than held his own on the other side of the sideline?
  22. You’ll forgive me for not upvoting you for this tidbit, Sir.
  23. Honestly, it’s depressing.
  24. It is so dangerous it isn't even worth discussing. One man's Manning becomes another man's Ryan Leaf. Who the hell wants to take that chance when you still get a great QB for approximately a decade? Does anyone really think the Saints hate that Brees has been their QB in the decade since their Super Bowl?
  25. Man...Yolo, buddy, if they clear waivers which, and I know this sounds crazy, they might not. Then watch the Bills cut Matthews during the middle of the season. They wanted those two guys on this team for a reason. I liked Kerley, but I get why they cut him. Matthews better darn well be a someone who can make something happen on a level better than your current number 2 (not saying much), but for you get rid of potential future benefits.
