Random talking head says something about the Bills
dollars 2 donuts replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Drew, it still stuns me that even though their team is 10-4 and have the Bills coming up at home the Bills live absolutely, positively rent free in their heads. Forgive me, but their stress over the Bills is like nectar or ambrosia to me. It's just so good and if the Bills take care of their own business we get to so wonderfully enjoy this everyday for the next 10 days leading up to the glory of Dolphins week with the hopes of the division still being on the line. Man, it has already been like Christmas since they lost to the Titans. Go Bills! -

Zow, this is the take. I concur. BTW, if we get to the final game of the season and win, BUT Miami goes 2-0 over the next two weeks with wins over Baltimore and Dallas, guess what...they deserved the division then. Nothing we can do about it after the fact. -
This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

Well…it seems like I can get it. I may have to test it out first with the early game, but it allowed the search and it allowed me to save the game to my stuff. -

personally, I don’t mind paying (I do, but whatever) either for an antenna (lost my last one) or for peacock premium plus (briefly). I have a young child, though, and I really don’t want to drag her out to a bar at close to her beer time to watch her Bills. -

Thank you, Harry. Do you need to buy premium plus ($11.99) to get the game or will the base subscription ($5.99) cover it? -

Well as it turns out I only pay for premium not premium plus (jerks) so I don’t get wgrz, but I do get nbc sports, nbc now, etc. the question now being, will I still get the game or do I have to pay for premium plus (jerks again)? -
MY Nuch being laconic as always. Thank you, Sir.

I am one of those few people who just plain had a peacock subscription before all of this that I kind of forgot about. So...this is probably not the weekend that I am canceling. -

Boy, Miyagi…8 receptions for 161 yards and a td in his last five games and 6 for 105 and a td were against Philly, which means he has 8 more receptions the last five games than Debbie Reynolds who died in 2016. I hope you are right for the playoff push. Go Bills! -

The Bills need this game badly…no, not just the win. I thinking they badly need just a calm, 74 degrees, dry and climate controlled environment for the first time since…man, when was the last ideal or perfect weather game this team had? I’m sure it would be a nice change for the players. -

Thank you, Cheese. That’s hilarious. -
Ganesh, crazy when you think that it is not impossible or even ridiculous to think that two out of the three teams in front of us (Colts, Bengals, Texans) can finish 11-6. We could be the first 11 win team to miss the playoffs since…man, was it the Patriots who finished in second in the East and out the year Brady got injured 2008? I think so. Edit: our team wins so much, but their history is that they just simply don’t treat each game as precious. Minnesota last year, Jets last year and this year, Denver, Jags 2 years ago and this year, first Miami game last year. Victory is there and then it just seems like, “meh, whatever. Long season.”
-
very respectfully, jag, I just can’t get there. Not when you lose an all pro difference making LB, a former all pro CB who was finally “back” and a space eating defensive lineman. please know, I know exactly what you mean, but it is just we are still on the outside looking in and as of now just 5-5 (after two straight wins) since losing our guys in London. Go Bills.

We need the chiefs so badly, just in case Miami doesn’t lose until we play them. we need them against the Bengals. the colts could run the table, and the Bengals could, too, if they upend a chiefs’ team they are pretty good at upending. crazy…I don’t want it to be the case, but for the first time I am considering that 11-6 may not get us in.

Predict your final 7 for the playoffs.

Thank you for the effort, Sammy, and I think there is a lot of good stuff in the above. Let's all be clear, though, on how razor thin this is, because I believe if only one game in the Dolphins schedule is different, let's say they upset the Ravens, then the Bills go from division champion to all the way out of the playoffs. We need to stack wins, and we need pretty much all of them, just in case. -
Guns, I try to be optimistic, but boy...and I am sorry to be that guy...it is just whether he can comeback and we all hope that he does but at what cost? It is the fact that this is a hobbled guy that has a fairly large impact on your cap. If you were to sign him or he was a young guy on a 3-4 million per deal, sure. However, I believe he is $16 million plus on next year's cap and we are underwater already. Are we going to bonus or frontload because we believe he is here long term? (sarcasm) Again, I am sorry, but this is such a tough one. Go Bills, but God bless Tre.
-
Chan can you imagine? Honestly can you imagine if we did not have him? Boy.
-
We have Douglas for one year because after '24 I think he is going to get pretty big money. If Tre is gone and we have room maybe we pay. I like him a lot.

A huge fan, and I mean going back to day 1 on the big screen for him in Glory. This one...this one hurts me a lot. -

Kenneth Davis in The Comeback Game. Honestly, had a couple and one may have gone for about 30, if memory serves. I was there.* (* BS you weren't there!**) (** I have the best excuse that I was there and stayed. I was in a box and had almost limitless food. You couldn't get me to leave even if my parents (RIP) were having sex at the 50 yard line.***) (*** They didn't. That is is just referenced for veracity purposes and suggesting that they did do it there is off the table.****) (**** They might have done it on a table before. I was not there every time. I was just the result of once.) -
I believe so very much in the hereafter. However, I love my family and I don’t want to leave here for a long time even as I likely head into the last third of this journey. I don’t think he wanted to leave, either. It is sad anytime, any one of us goes too soon.
