  1. ST, I had the exact same problem. I called and had the phone on speaker before giving up. I called again a little later, but by that time i heard a message that they know they are having technical difficulties and were trying to remedy them. So I just hung up. Yes, they fixed it, but it appeared to screw up 4 quarters of football. The 3rd and 4th of the 1 pm games and the first and second of the 4 pm games. I'm not cheap, but that is ridiculous and they should give us something for that even if it is just simply a free movie rental from On Demand. Boy, Johnny, you gotta let us know about that. It would be greatly appreciated.
  2. He should have never told his returner, “no matter how deep the kick is and no matter how much time is left be sure to take the kickoff out of the end zone, see what you can do, and don’t protect the ball.”
  3. Very respectfully, H20, I think that is looking a little too Captain Queeg hard. You know, as well, that whenever they make fun of us there is going to be no reason to veil it.
  4. May Day, thanks bud. So much "Win" in your post and a lot of it I didn't know. Thrilled at the coaches poll votes...that just tells me respect is becoming a thing. ...and i did not know about the ratings. PTR and some of you other guys called it. Seriously, getting behind this team could really be a thing and could really help them going forward. How great it would be to more often than not have this team be at 9-3, or so.
  5. 3 points. This team scored 3 points on us without the benefit of turnovers. 13 total against our D. Most of you know I am not like this, but F*** you Bills offense...F*** you.
  6. Come on, man. That is awesome. EDIT: It is such a beautiful dig on such a subtle level.
  7. At least see what he can do before Kyle Williams’ annual Christmas party.
  8. You know what, K-9, it would also really help if Army kept winning and they climbed into the Top 25. Better to say the Bulls only loss came against a (eventual) Top 25 team.
  9. @zow2 @PromoTheRobot @K-9 BTW, not for nothing, but I believe they start getting votes again for the top 25 at 9-1, and they climb into the top 25 if they win the MAC Championship at 12-1. knock on wood.
  10. Right, right. Zow, doesn't he look like, though, that he is right there? Like he really could clean things up.
  11. BTW, please forgive my poor grammar. With the Bills playing the way that they are I honestly get excited when talking about the Bulls and type too quickly. Crazy to think we have no football this weekend, but we have the Bills at home on Monday night and the Bulls at home on Tuesday night.
  12. Nailed it with a lot of the above, PTR. However, don't they have faith in some of what their other guys can do? Osborne and Jones especially? I have seen every game this season, from what you have seen, doesn't it seem like sometimes they look just about ready to take off and then...it sputters. I am not talking turnovers, I am talking (obviously) about play calling. They are going to be in a game sometime, and they are going to need to get first downs and they are not going to just be able to rely on running the ball to run out the clock.
  13. Darn you, TEC, now all I want is a ham sandwich and I am not even being sarcastic. Seriously, a few layers of smoked ham, Swiss or onion cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, yellow mustard and mayonnaise. Throw in a side of regular plain old Fritos. ...being on a diet SUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKSS. EDIT: I didn't even mention the bread. I don't want to think about it. So many carbs.
  14. HE'S A GREAT MAN, A GREAT PLAYER AND YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS * * No he's not, no he isn't, and you likely aren't.
  15. WEO, I think if someone thought that his skills were being wasted in Buffalo (I'm not saying us, I'm saying "someone") and that KB could help their team on a playoff push.
  16. @PromoTheRobot @K-9 I tell you (get ready for an unpopular take) I still think Tyree is under performing a little bit. Additionally, I know some may like the balance of the offense, but given their receivers, all their receivers, I believe this team could light it up a little more passing wise. I don't mean just tossing it up, I mean quick slants and various other middle range patterns. They are averaging more than 220 yards per game passing and I believe that could very easily be up to 270-75 without upsetting the apple cart.
  17. The Athletic: "Eric Dungey's cousin accused of 'fake news' with respect to unsubstantiated headlines concerning his future."
  18. All things considered right now I agree with Shady above. A 5th honestly would be good and a sixth OK.
  19. The world was right there for him, Corner. Right freaking there. What an idiot. Regardless of starting no one told this peon that jobs in your 20s that pay you half million dollars a year are hard to come by. ...moron.
  20. This is extremely awkward, because Elway and Jim have a relationship. Honestly, kid, WTF? You were possibly about to start an NFL game. Oh, BTW, obligatory Peterman joke: If it was Peterman at that house instead of Kelly the police would have intercepted him long before he escaped out the front door.
  21. No. 20 Cincinnati went to Temple and lost this weekend. UB beat Temple at Temple in week 2. Purdue beat Ohio State at Purdue. Purdue lost to Eastern Michigan. UB beat Eastern Michigan the following week in the first conference game for both. UB’s only loss is to Army, who is 5-2. Army's only losses are to 5-2 Duke and 6-1 Oklahoma. Of the 10 conferences and 130 teams in the FBS (1-A) UB is the winningest road team at 4-0. It has been a fun season to watch and the best that I can remember for local college football.
  22. Nice. You nailed it, BPA.
  23. On the Bills he'd certainly hit all those escalators.
  24. It also depends on how he is winning. Sure, it is unlikely, but if you are telling me they are winning and over a few games he is averaging 15-24, for 225 yards and a 1.5 TDs per game maybe you consider keeping him in. The moment he slides you pull the leash.
  25. I know they say they tried with some of these options, but my question ( or questioning) of this staff is how hard did they try? For example they tried with Derek Anderson in the off season but he wanted to keep his options open. Well...OK...how hard did they try? How important was it to them or how important SHOULD THEY HAVE REALIZED IT WAS TO THEM? Right now it appears Anderson is getting the veteran minimum. Is that what they offered him in the off season? Is that why they didn't bother to offer Teddy anything? Sure they are tight up against the cap, but Quarterback is different and they had the room to either double, or in Teddy's case, add a couple of million on to these offers.
