  1. Just finished this. I have to remember to call the heating contractor for our office. Apparently I am having a reaction to dust in my eyes. Hang in the fight, brother. This disease has touched all of us in some way before, but now, again, it is touching one of us that we all relate to with our sense of fandom and family, like it did with Kelly. Feel the love. Feel the support. Feel the family, PB. WE ARE, PANCHO!
  2. @ShadyBillsFan Additionally, above and beyond our futility with them and even though they are still at the peak of football how can they not just plain be boring to other people? I honestly also feel the same way about the Steelers, whom I have never really had an animosity towards. I see both teams there, just continuing to win games and even though they are good I could care less and really don't even like watching them anymore. Call me crazy, but a GENERATION AND A HALF is enough time to watch the same 2 teams, year and year out, top the Conference and the League. ...Loving me the Chiefs playing well, the Chargers up there and Houston righting the ship. I cream myself over the Rams and I love New Orleans right now....I know, I know, they have Brees, but they (respectably) have had down years before last season. Weirdly I would have more respect for Brady (although I think he is maybe the greatest of all time), and possibly even like him, if he suffered through a 7-9 or 10-6 season and then they went back up. ...just tired of this, man.
  3. I may be alone on an island with this one, but does anyone else here just plain hate the Patriots?
  4. @26CornerBlitz When was the last time we had a Thursday night match-up like this?! Corner, this should be a real good one that really will compete for my time with the Sabres.
  5. ...and forgive me for misrepresenting you, PTR, as I forgot about the tweet showing UB at 21...oh man, it is sooo close. Please run the table, Bulls. Zow, I am hoping for this so much. That's why getting into the top 25 is essential. It would be great if we actually played in a bowl against another top 25 team, above or below us!
  6. This game now has little bearing on the MAC East. Even if they don’t win they should beat BG the final week of the season and win the East. My previous prediction was votes at 9-1, and top 25 at 12-1 after the MAC Championship. That has obviously stepped up a bit with them getting points enough to be on the top 36 in both polls currently. However they still need teams in front of them to lose. The voters are unlikely to just plain leap frog them like they would with a top conference team. I’m thinking by 11-1 they should creep in. However, I like where PTR’s head is at! @Buffalo716 Buf, I think he is just predicting for this week where he thinks they will be...not for me to speak for PTR, though.
  7. Sorry, Johnny, I think we were talking about Brees, even though this is the Dez thread. I could be wrong, but I thought it was about Brees.
  8. I don't know, you guys, from everything we've seen in interviews he really seems to want to play a few more years. His game isn't even dropping off remotely.
  9. Reed, in the time since you put it up I've texted it out twice! Forgive me, though, both times I did it with Clark's twitter handle, but didn't mention where I originally saw it. Your genius is our board's little secret!
  10. Thank you for the chuckle, bf.
  11. Reed, you're going sports AND Political?! You saucy minx!
  12. I know, I kind of agree with this. McCown is actually an upgrade for the Jets in this game. I don't think we are going to get slaughtered...well...I hope we are not going to get slaughtered, but I actually think the score might be a little bigger than if the Jets were starting Darnold.
  13. Left field called. It wants its lame excuse for sitting a raw rookie back.
  14. Yeah, yeah...you bet your sweet a** it will be shown on ESPN2, PTR!! ...I'm sorry, I gotta stop this. I am not sure where this is coming from. I'm just really excited. I think we are going to be healthy going into that game.
  15. Well said. Additionally, as far as the game being boring, if you get my drift I don't want that to be something that hurts the Bulls and the conference. Doesn't help that attendance was off due to the MACtion Tuesday and the 45-50 MPH winds. That said, what a show Ohio and Buffalo could put on for the nation next week, especially if something is at stake and both teams are at their best. If you are a college football fan around this country are you going to pass up a Wednesday night game between 9-1 and 7-3 teams that decide a conference division...regardless of what conference it is? Even if I wasn't from here I sure as F*** wouldn't miss it!* * Sorry, the swear word was just indicating my excitement for the game, which should be felt by all college football fans.
  16. Yes, I mentioned that, as well, to friends. However, for the bigger stage outside of the MAC if the Bulls are to be considered a top 25 team as we were talking about before I want them to be the team that give's Ohio (the preseason favorite) its only bloody nose, than hopefully lay some wood on Northern Illinois in the MAC Championship. I know we would need other teams to lose, but I would be stunned if the Bulls got to 12-1 and weren't in the top 25.
  17. Me too I know, I know. You're right, PTR. I thought the same thing. ...and if that is the case we should also be hoping Ohio wins their game tomorrow to make it a 7-3 vs a hopeful 9-1 contest. Army, you keep winning, too.
  18. Oh, you're only saying that because we were very successful (8-3, I believe) when he was in there. Why don't you take the time to consider that Cleveland spent as much as 4 million dollars to sign him, lower end money for a CB that... ...oh wait. ...numb skulls, they should have circled back and signed him, even when they still had Vontae Davis.
  19. NHK, it is crazy when you think about it. I mean...let's wrap our heads around "worst offense in NFL history"...no-no, don't go looking anything up, it is the worst. congrats. How do you become, not bad, not terrible, but the worst that has ever existed?!
  20. How can they not?! Jeepers, BF72, isn't it like rubber necking a car accident with how bad this offense is?
  21. AJ was still in the equation for me...not that hindsight would show that currently as being any better.
  22. Granted, I generally saw this as between 5-11 and 7-9 team (more so 7-9) this year in a number of my predictions ( I have trouble seeing them even getting to 5). However, I also thought that if things fell right they could go 10-6 (4-4 first half, 6-2 in the second). Honestly, either from what you posted or what you were thinking or hoping what did you think the upside could have been for this team before kick off in September? I thought 7-9 even if our offense did nothing (), but if we get production out of Shady, Benjamin and sets of TE we could pull off 10-6.
