  1. @Wizard Honestly, Wizard, I don't think your list is a bad list, at all. Sure, people might disagree, but there is nothing to mock in what you have. My only change, for argument sake, would be switching out Dak for Purdy. That is not a knock on Dak, but just giving a little more credit to Purdy. Yes, I know the skill position talent SF has, plus they have Shanny, but still. I will say the Baltimore game took him right out of the picture for the top spot. Regardless of any other candidates shortcomings "recency and primacy" still matter. EDIT: One more add, if Josh goes off for 4-5 this weekend (3-4 pass, 1 rush) against the Pats D, I believe he is absolutely back in the picture for the top spot. If He finishes with 48 in any fashion, but preferably 30+ passing and 15+ rushing and also clinches the #2 seed. Wow...he has a strong argument.
  2. Meh, let him. He’s on a roll.
  3. Anyways, New England has been playing teams tough, regardless of their record, and as the saying goes “this is their Super Bowl” so the Bills have to show up again as they have on this so far three game run.* (* Truthfully 5 game run as I include Brady first game/win and even a pretty good performance against the Eagles.)
  4. Thanks, Greg, I caught it just after I wrote it and corrected it, hoping before anyone quoted it. I knew right away. @Gregg 11th, gentlemen. We were 11th in the AFC 3 weeks ago. This is crazy and this is joyous. Happy Holidays.
  5. Bills win, Seahawks over Steelers and a Bengals loss to Chiefs, I believe.
  6. Their game against Miami is for all the marbles in the AFC and a first round bye. i believe they will win, don’t know that they will, but whatever happens it is highly unlikely they will play a letdown game.
  7. I have said here many times before I hate for anybody to be injured. BUT, if they do happen, as in this instance I am more than annoyed at the modern trend. …and that trend seems to be that high ankle sprains, the days gone by 3-6 week injury, has now turned into maybe missing 1 game. What the heck happened with medicine and science on this one?!
  8. Not gonna lie, Trent, I read your post and… and.. …it moved. I’ll leave it at that.
  9. We needed 1 loss each by five teams…and we got four of them in the first weekend? Who would even bet that? So crazy. Love it so much.
  10. We needed five games and we got four of them this weekend (5 of six games, actually and obviously when you include our win). We can’t be denied, by Miami, can we? The Ravens have to show up, right? it is the only thing standing in our way from controlling our own destiny for the #2 seed.
  11. Man, he was a nice signing at the time. Bless on recovering and coming back, but am I wrong to think it is unlikely here? Will check to see what we save on the cap. edit: 1 year deal. Thought it was 2. out after this season.
  12. There has been no update on him and on top of that nobody is even asking about him. The only reason why I’m asking in a new thread is because the old one was so old (Oct 16 last post) that the thread note said a new thread should be started. I’’m fine with our current group, and I know his injury initially seemed serious, but I thought shortly afterwards he was generally fine and then he fell off the face of the earth. If I missed something about his condition I apologize. If anyone knows please post. If anyone cares you can post, too.
  13. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays bump.
  14. Guys, I know about the division currently. I’ve laid it out like others have. I’m also in the category of “This team will never lose again.” I think even one of us made a great thread about this. That said, what are the most likely scenarios that get us in at 10-7? Likely scenarios would be who is likely or could lose to who. Go Bills.
  15. They only need KC to drop one. If all the other AFC south contenders lose 1 game and fall to at best 10-7, we win the tie breakers at 11-6 against KC. Heck, as long as we go 11-6 we can root for Cincy over the Chiefs.
  16. 2 Bills wins and five losses (1 each by Miami, KC, Indy, Titans, and Jags) gets the Bills the #2 seed. I believe in any scenario with Kansas City we cannot be tied with any other teams, and going to the max bracket of tiebreakers. It needs to be just us and Kansas City for the number two, and we obviously win in head to head.
  17. Fournette just passed Reggie Bush on the Bills all time rushing list.
  18. Yeah, it’s working. Thanks. Go Bills.
  19. Yeah, that’s exactly what I mean, and my issue is I have not had nbc/channel 2 for about a month now due to the dispute. Yes, I have an antenna, but it is a chore given my tv and location to try and set it up. I would prefer it on peacock.
  20. Nuch, thank you my friend. I apologize for being thick, but it is still a little unclear whether living in Buffalo I can just watch it on peacock. It seems like it may be blacked out, like the Sunday ticket does, or used to do. I really don’t want to watch it off the antenna and would prefer peacock. I’m looking for them to be definitive. Along the lines of “we know there is BS going on between satellite providers and the networks. No matter where you are, you can watch on peacock.” I’ll be set, either way. Just looking for early piece of mind from them. Just for general information purposes, that was New Era’s mom. I know it is just the way the quoting works on the board that it looks like I said it. Just because I’ve written on here previously about the fact my mom passed away more than 20 years ago. I don’t want to be accused of lying about the late best woman in the world. 😉 Go Bills!
  21. @teef I already had peacock. My only remaining question is will it be blacked out locally here in western New York given the “potential” to have access to the broadcast or is still primarily a streaming game and can’t be blacked? i have an antenna ready to set up just in case.
  22. I love the Lions. I loved them last year...heck even back when they were struggling to end their draught. However, this guy has 1.5 good years going for him (fine) and still isn't at the apex of the league (but close) and they have yet to see their first playoff game. Let the GMs and the owners know in the room when it comes time. Don't be a douche and have it "escape" out into the world like this. ...ya douche. Doucherson.
  23. You've been dishing out the goodies, rags. I have yet to really disagree with you today. Yeah, that sounds about right for AJ. I thought earlier this year there is no way he gets offered less than $10 million per, with possibly more if he sustains. The frustrating thing his he is just getting to where he should be now, and he may end up going to somebody. Plus we also have to consider Rousseau on the horizon.
  24. rags, I am with you, brother, and would love it and I want both back, but honestly I was surprised at how out of whack we are salary cap wise for next season. Sure, they can do some things, but man...$42 million before we even start doing anything?! That's more than cap yoga right there. Go Bills!
  25. Leonard Floyd, I appreciate you, too. Unfortunately, mrags, you are correct. I don't even think we are going to be able to keep AJ. with our cap situation being as bad as it is. So, we'll lose AJ and we'll lose Floyd, but due to the cap hit at least we get to keep Von...
