Ohio -52 UB-17 - Buh-bye ranking.
dollars 2 donuts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in College Football
UB is a three point dog tonight. you, Vegas. -
That is the best thing for the Pats, now. The thing is they should have done the best thing for the Pats before...let Billy trade Brady to get some pretty decent value for him last year and prep Jimmy Garops to take over and lead this year. Seriously, regardless of their super bowl appearance that was a big mistake on Kraft's part...stopping Belichek. EDIT: they trusted him enough to do it with Bledsoe and look at how that worked out. He did it with Bernie in Cleveland, too. They should have trusted him with cutting the cord on Brady. No matter how much Billy likes his best dog he has no problem taking it out back behind the woodshed and shooting it in the head.

Bills Sign WR Deonte Thompson to a 1-Year Deal
dollars 2 donuts replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
honestly, Juice, about 1/3 of us were disappointed when we didn't retain him, and the same 1/3 wanted him signed when he came available. However, yes, someone didn't actually bring it up very recently. -

What the hell is going on?! It's like I am fired up about this team, right now, for the rest of the season. I don't think they stand a chance at making the playoffs, but with all the moves lately, the win on Sunday and an attractive, homeward bound heavy schedule the second half of the season I am dying to see this team win some games. Check List Going Forward: 1. Give Allen a ton of snaps. 2. Get to at least 8-8 3. Keep the Defense at number 1 4. Draft 10 guys 5. Sign free agents with a chunk of that 80+ million Dollars 6. Watch Tom Brady turn 42 going into next season. -

Finally one of my prayers (lesser ones, mind you ) is answered. Is he great? No Does he work hard, fit The Process and give you everything he has? Yes Does it show-up on the field? IT DOES A WHOLE HELL OF OF A LOT MORE THAN IT DOES WITH BENJAMIN! -
CB, it's a far cry from: 1. Someone like Peterman having to tell Benjamin before the snap where to line up (which has happened on more than one occasion). 2. Someone like Benjamin not knowing how to block...or even almost any of them (don't get me started). Sorry for detouring into something that is bugging me.

teef, it really has been interesting to watch Rochester just plain grow the way it has, even supplanting Buffalo in some areas, both living standard wise and from an economic development standpoint. Even though, Buffalo has been growing recently, too.
-
I swear to you, teef, I was just noticing that when looking at the list. What a difference an hour on the NYS thruway makes. I also don't know if that is a great move for you. You are likely going to have to pay some sort of alimony. Let's throw on top of that moving expenses. Do you have kids, too? I love kids, but then you are going to have to likely find someone that has kids as well so that is maybe cutting opportunities down right there. Then you have to explain why you got divorced, and then they are going to be all like, "What a loser. He's not going to commit to me." Then you are going to be depressed because you realize what a mistake this all was and you are going to think about how much you miss your wife, but she's moved on to somebody richer and better looking. However, if you were just joking forget all of this.

“Pinto Ron” streak hits 400 games today
dollars 2 donuts replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pffft....slacker. What the hell happened in '94 for him to miss a game? Congrats, Ken. I love this. I am envious of such devout dedication to the team. Never change, buddy! -

@PromoTheRobot Dammit, PTR, we are just plain better than Ohio. The hell with the preseason rankings and what a tough out they have been, and the hell with UB's weaknesses. We are going to their pool and there is blood in the water. LET'S GO KILL SOMEBODY AND COME BACK 10-1!!!!!!! -

Yeah, and I know everyone loves the Rams defense, but lately...why? They haven't been shutting down good offenses at all. Love the Rams, but love the Chiefs, too. Give me the AFC on this one. -

been good a lot times, but doesn't get enough credit for the brief run as Robert DeNiro's character in the TV movie versions/sequels of Midnight Run -
Offensive Line Continuity
dollars 2 donuts replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ya know, Flip, it is not unreasonable to think they can legitimately count on that same line for another 2 years, possibly 3. That is an eternity in the NFL. However, obviously from left to right some consideration should at least be given on how to back up those roles. -
This gives a little bit more insight on him, but not much. https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2018/04/05/3-things-to-know-about-new-patriots-tight-end-troy-niklas I can imagine his warts may still be a little with injuries and also how he picks things up and whether he can, as Pryor says "ball", but not like prior, actually ball.

I like the signing and I liked the fact that he was a space eater. However, yeah, I am surprised that Carolina appears to missing him that much. Of course they will make the playoffs, but they aren't winning their division and they are beating the Rams or Saints (or maybe even Minnesota) and THAT is what it is all about for that franchise right now.
