  1. BF, the jags run-run-run on their final series against Pitt last week was stupefying given the importance of getting a first down in that situation. Silly the way they call plays down there.
  2. No Andrew Luck No Watson No Tannehill Dalton throw and Boyd catch ...yeah...we were "good fortune" recipients last year.
  3. 12.5 million, NHK...12.5 million over the cap next year. Minutes away from the Super Bowl to this. Wow.
  4. Corner, I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but others maybe have alluded to it, too. Are the Jags sort of the "Anti Process"? In other words, a lot of great talent that generally plays on an individual basis? Not that they don't like each other, but that it is definitely a "me first" mentality.
  5. Tre White actually refuses to have it any other way but FUN.
  6. ...and Corner, you know what the BS thing is? at various times in his head coaching stints it has been Hackett that has made Doug look good. It has been Hackett that has had to put up with Doug's beyond conservative offensive mentality. ...Jerk.
  7. Boy, teef, you are not kidding. i was reading the Jag fans instant messages before Marrone's post game press conference and they couldn't believe they lost to the Bills. All the while I am thinking can you imagine, a 3-7 football team losing to another 3-7 football team on the road? Forgive me, but I was loving it.
  8. "Hi, welcome to Buffalo for a FA visit. We had back to back 9-7 seasons, including a playoff appearance. Our rookie QB was 8-3 as a starter and we have 10 draft picks coming and about 90 million in cap space. What can we do for you here in Buffalo?" I dig it.
  9. Promo I am fine with that. I also would like them to use this money wisely, which I believe they will. It would not surprise me if they went into 2020 with 40 million in cap space. Cheer loudly so we can hear you all the way from Detroit at the MAC Championship!
  10. Yolo, I would prefer 9-7 and going out on a winning season in Kyle's likely last year, even if we don't make the playoffs. However, if we go 8-8, I would love thinking in the off season that this team was 7-4 with Allen as the starter. I think free agents would like it, too.
  11. It was a beautiful pass for the TD by Nate, but I 100% agree with you. As a matter of witness, it seemed like Josh's QB world was opening up a bit even on that eventual TD drive, the one he got hurt on. Either a timely pass or running it for needed first downs I think we would have squeaked out of there with a win. Would we be truly in the hunt for the playoffs if he ended up just leaving after the game? No, but 5-6 (4-4 in the AFC) would have us seriously in the hunt.
  12. Side note: one of these times we are going to see him sweep out, dig hard for the line of scrimmage on an apparent run and then launch it to a wide open WR down field. ...I love it.
  13. Wrong Josh is 3-3 as a starter, including a loss in the Texans game that he didn't get to finish. Wrong Josh has 3 TD passes, but also 4 rushing TDs in 6 games.
  14. Allen would have gotten the exact same experience on that drive if he was watching it on the sideline, for the rest of the season. ...said anyone who doesn’t know what they are talking about.
  15. This man. This truly “one of the greatest of all time,” deserves to have two titles in his career.
  16. Thank you, Amish. Happy Thanksgiving to all you wonderful guys and gals that help make my day that much more interesting and more often than not, funny! Most importantly, please be safe out there in the real world on the roads.
  17. Huddles, let me reiterate that I can't believe how excited I am for the rest of the season, regardless of whether we make the playoffs. I would love to send Williams into retirement with another winning season at 9-7 and 1 singular career win in NE against Brady when it matters to the Pats. let's do it!
  18. Not only that, Royalely, but I would cream myself if they throw in his direction 4 straight times and complete all 4. Karma heaven. Amen, my Brother Huddles. Amen.
  19. Posting...because it was a fan-f***ing-tastic game that still deserves kudos a day later. ...so damn good. So much fun.
  20. Yes, yes indeed, Jamie. I stand by the fact though if you really want two great CBs, plan on only having them together for a few years, because this team is not going to spend double the money on that position. Hell, it remains to be seen if they are going to pay it for one player (Tre), which I hope they do.
  21. RR, I hear you, and I would 100% agree if it weren't for the fact that regardless of the Jets game we are so utterly and completely, epic-ally, tragically, horribly, miserably bad on offense. The aberration is the Jets game, not everything that came before. Don't get me wrong I think we may be able to go 3-3 down the stretch, but the O must be addressed...a lot. ...I will take a slightly lesser 1st round Offensive player, or a D player at an absolute must position of need, than a position that we are already strong at to make it stronger. Give me the best possible Offensive player 4-10 spots back with some extra later on. BUT, if you want Greedy, man I get and I think he will be really, really good. I just think they won't keep him 4 years later as they will already have a bunch of loot tied up in Tre come that time.
  22. Jamie, honestly, I’ve been thinking that about the Gmen for awhile. Greedy would, it's just tiresome to think of them going D, and furthermore, DB...it would make us ridiculously good and would be agreeable, but we have such other more demanding needs that it is annoying that the BPA for those needs won’t likely be there when we pick. trade down, maybe?
  23. Would Greedy be a great DB? OK, seemingly yes...but dammit you guys...
  24. Absolutely positively true. ...but again, it does not make me wish our defense was worse. It just makes me wish our offense was better.
