  2. What also sticks out a little is that Zay Jones is tied for 2nd with 6 TDs receptions over that period of time. The league lead was 7. I believe he may have had 31 receptions in the second half of the season, as well.
  3. Crazy to think that 9-7 was possible with this team, and the fact that they were more than 50, and by some analyst's tally by the end of the season, almost 70 million in dead cap space. Man I can't help but think there is nothing but "up" for this team in 2019. ...but choose your players wisely, McBeane.
  4. since the injury: 3-3, 8 tds, 7 ints, 5 rushing tds, 207 yards pass per game, 79 yards rushing per game, 286 yards offense per game and AFC Offensive Player of the Week in week 17. Like Freddie's Dead said, I liked the pick then but love it now. I was a Mayfield/Rosen guy headed in. I am pleased and I have little to no reservations on this kid. I am so excited for the future. I am sleeping better at night and my hair is beginning to grow back, as proof.
  5. Antonio, not gonna lie...great point and likely very true. How do you pass up one of the best OT in this year's draft? Especially this team.
  6. My goodness. Given how bad our offense was, and considering that the consensus by most was that Allen needed to sit on the bench for a year how... how... how can anyone look at this tape and consider this guy a bust now?!
  7. ...I know...he'll likely be gone. Man, doesn't it get scary good though just thinking about the possibility?
  8. I only wish he had spent the entire season on the bench! Seriously, the few games off did help. This is an outstanding way to go into the off season.
  9. Right...right, both of you. Man, the thing is now instead of just Bosa and Oliver being "men" there, Allen looks like a potential stud, too. ...if...IF he is there.... ... ... ...do you take him? Frick, I just don't know. I need to know more about him.
  10. I know, right? Jeepers creepers, Royale. I don't even have to know how much the Rams paid for him (although, I believe it is second to Mack in Chicago), I just know that automatically it is money well spent.
  11. Please from you guys that follow the college players more closely than I do. We do need a pass rush specialist at some point, and if ones not available in FA...
  12. Push everything else aside...can you imagine if they only gave the kid one game at the end of this season? Jeepers. man, this weirdly worked out perfectly, didn't it? Played a little bit early, took a little break, then came back. 3-3, 8 passing TDs, 7 Int, 5 rushing TDs. 207 yards passing per game, 79 yards rushing per game for 286 yards per game offense down the stretch. Long Live Josh Allen.
  13. And we know now from the thread, article, and what we’ve heard on this board that the kid had turned the corner and shown another level of dedication.
  14. Another great post, huddles! My dad was 78. Like a moron as a son you say things out of th blue and I told him after the giants game, “who knows, dad, this might be your last Bills game.” He said, “it might be.” He was gone that February. We disagreed on many things, but we always had football and I was always there for him at Bills games out of all his kids, especially since my mom had passed away 7 years earlier (coincidentally, today is the 17th anniversary of her passing). five or six years ago I was going through my nightstand drawer and found the ticket stub from that last game...I’ll cherish it, always. How I would love just one more game with my dad, preferably with the granddaughter he never got to meet, in between us. Go Bills...Go dads.
  15. I actually forgot to put “except for fansince88”. My bad brother. honestly, great post.
  16. High tides raise all ships, Cutty, and that son of a gun is one high tide! Look at Boyd. couldnt agree more with you.
  17. Buff, I thought he was going to remain as coach, but when he wouldn’t make some changes it was mutually agreed that he would leave. my bad if I am wrong.
  18. I do hear you, Virgil, but he’ll be wearing a Bills helmet, will be representing the team and will be where he should be...amongst some of the best players in the League. Never let the laurels stop for this man!
  19. Great googily-moogily that 70 million is mind boggling. yes...honestly, 6-10 is almost miraculous when you consider the above. It’s like freaking Money Ball...with a whole lot of heart in the players who were here.
  20. Limeaid, that is interesting about the fine. I never thought of that. btw, see my post up above on what I think the other Bills linemen would do if given the opportunity to be the one ejected. i love this team.
  21. Isnt it weird, BB...Milarky has been a head coach twice and technically was never fired from either job.
  22. I know, right. you know what’s funny GB, if they took a moment and asked the Bills lineman “which of you is going to be ejected for trying to protect or stand up for our QB?”, to a man I believe it would have been like something out of Rudy, or maybe even Spartacus...each man being honored to be the one to fall on the sword for the cause...and for their friend and leader.
  23. Steve, that is it right there. We absolutely know who our 1, 2 and 3 are...done. Dilusions by Anderson? No way, he gets a nice pay check, won't get banged up and he knows exactly why he is there. Barkely? He knows his job, he has a contract with the knowledge that this team isn't testing him out...this team wants him here. We have a haggard vet who has been around, a 4-5 year veteran who has taken his lumps and is still sticking around, and Kid Cannon who's ready to take the league over. Hollywood writes this stuff. Love it!
  24. Couldn't agree more. Man...I'll never replace yesterday's game in my memory for all the obvious reasons...and thank you Kiko for getting yourself ejected, you moron, while also not hurting our QB...jerk. The last remaining Buffalo Bill still on the team my father saw play in 2007 before he died in early 2008 was Kyle Williams. I HAD to go to this game. I'm glad I stuck around after the game to give the man a high five and say thank you. Insane, but this might be the most livable 6-10 season in franchise history.
  25. Bills fans at the stadium would be cheering wildly at Jordan Mills and giving him a wave of ovation and thumbs up as he slow walked off the field and out the tunnel. Seriously, I felt great for the guy. There was little doubt that he was loving every minute of it too and fired up as he left. I love this team.
