  1. It is old and tired because it is old and tired that it is true. the sad things is, 72, I think we can watch 5 minutes of any game and see the same thing. come on, OBD, this has got to stop.
  2. Doc, if you would have posted a picture of bikini clad models playing with puppies instead, you still would not have gotten the amount of upvotes you’ve received for the above. 100% spot on brother. As far as Barkley, I honestly believe he is a dependable back-up and a team player for Allen going forward. I’ve wanted him signed and done with for a few weeks. I love this move. I am not looking for a starter in his position. I need a guy who is there for his team, his starter, and able to start a couple of games, if necessary.
  3. This is a shame. It is too bad we don’t have enough cap space in 2019 for a high performing veteran who is already under and in our cap figure for 2019. ? i’ll also never get this ongoing misunderstanding by some in this fan base that thinks Hughes is a FA in 2019 that we have to find a way to move. not necessarily the point of the OT, but still it comes up more than you think.
  4. Boy, Corner, believe me I know the above is not the point of this thread and I am with those here who hope that this guy gets his life straight, even if it means he never gets back to football. ...and I know I am being petty, but the above bugs me. I Like Rap, but I am annoyed (maybe needlessly) at the "let's pat Belichek on the back for making a good decision even though it didn't work out." The guy gave production that he was very capable of, and then some. BB didn't take a piece of coal and turn it into a diamond. He took a very talented receiver and got reasonable production out of him until his next suspension. No pats really necessary for a receiver needy team like NE.
  5. Well said, Seasons. However, do you think this is a team that is going to decide to relentlessly blitz?
  6. It's like we were borrowing someone else's jerseys during the early 90s, 17islongenough. Honestly, they weren't ours.
  7. Honestly and respectfully there is something about the white on blue pants that just doesn't look right. I'm with you there. Now, would we, or have we ever seen blue and blue with these newer unis? I am not talking about when they had those different sort of Titans uniforms during the bledsoe era. I think you can test drive the uniform combo in Madden, but I might like to see it once, for real live...just to see it.
  8. Corner, I have always dug the white on white. I know many prefer the blue pants, but I like the clean look of this.
  9. Jay, she makes a references along the lines of "You have to try my..." and I believe it was Scungilli. I am bugged that I missed that it was a Simpson's reference! ...good stuff all the way around.
  10. Jay, is that possibly a star trek next generation reference, when Geordi is on the hallow deck with the designer of the Enterprise D trying to figure out a way out of the ancient mine field? ...or did I just show my geek card?
  11. At New ERA Field facing an 8-6 Brady lead Patriots team who are on life support and are in jeopardy of missing the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade...and they then go on to lose to the Bills 31-13...while the Bills clinch home field advantage at 13 -2 and let Barkley start against the Jets, in NY the following week.
  12. We have the best record of any team in the NFL without a pro-bowler and 7 teams in the League that have our same record or worse have a pro-bowler. We are the Mr. Cellophane of the nfl!
  13. Well, with the #2 defense in all of football you can understand why they are one of only 3 teams to have no pro-bowl selections. ...said anyone who is a moron.
  14. To equal the playing field for comparison purposes next year is there any chance we can get San Diego and Indy to bench their future Hall of Fame QBs for the entire year and rack up about 50 plus million dollars in dead cap space during the off season?
  15. Exactly, Vadar. He is a reasonable back up solution. Give this guy a couple of million or so per, and let's been done with the back-up position.
  16. You guys are ridiculous. He should be commended for not making helmet to helmet contact.
  17. Especially if his wife keeps getting pregnant! @The Firebaugh Kid Seriously, though, you guys, what an absolute waste. How talented he was. What a difference he could have made in his family's life...and his own.
  18. Karlos Williams' ban from the league has GOT to be over by now.
  19. Of course the draft is very important. However, more concerning to me (honestly) is that another team in our division, has a good young QB, and has more money than we do making the case to free agents to go there because the "better shot" is with them. So, paraphrasing what I have stated before I would love to tell FAs, "we have an established coaching staff that has made it to the playoffs, we have a great Defense, we have money for you and our QB, and our team for that matter, had a better record than that other team you might be interested in...join the fun here in WNY." "...oh...and Tom Brady is turning 42."
  20. That’s interesting, Alpha. Barkley is Bette than I thought he would be, but maybe I just was being fair to him because I wanted the Giants to trade with us.
  21. Couldn't agree more, NewEra and I have been thinking about this since the Fall. Sure, they have to endure a lot of pain these last two years, but they may be nicely set-up for the future.
