  1. Bandit, hate to ask the redundant question, but given the depth at both and our need for both, would you consider trading down to pick up something extra in the second or third? Yolo, my friend, you and I eat at the same restaurant on this subject. Cheers!
  2. Once again I am torn. FA, or the possible lack there of with respect to OL, is going to be very telling on this draft. If we get one or two OL in FA do we put off another OT in the draft because it is deep and actually draft a iDT or Edge pick at Number 1?
  3. CC, I get your point and it is a valid point. The young man seemingly has made strides and if the team does their due diligence and feels comfortable, then I am fine, as well. However, I would like to have heard that he made amends (weirdly that maybe means apologizing to, but also forgiving) to the person he was beating up, even if that person had gotten into with his mom. If that is his mom on the video she seemingly appears OK.
  4. I respectfully disagree with going after Clowney. He would be very expensive, and yes he can pass rush, but I have seen get pushed around a number of times. I would rather have the cap space and someone who has less ability than him than chunking up 20+ million in cap space for a pass rusher who is suspect. EDIT 1: I guess in getting down to the nuts and bolts of it I would only pay 20+ million at any (certain) position for real franchise players, not players who we think are franchise players. Meaning, if Mario was the league's highest paid Defensive player I'd also want him to be the best...he wasn't. Meaning, If Dareus was at or near the league's highest paid Defensive player I'd also want him to be at or near the best...save for flashes he wasn't.
  5. Will someone please listen to this man?!
  6. NHK, if I am reading that chart correctly, and I believe I am, organizationally we have work to do primarily in the category of "Games Vs Brady". Given his future playing plans .500 is achievable, but no doubt, we have to get moving. EDIT: If we played him three times a year, including playoffs, and won every game we would achieve a winning record against him by the end of the 2027 season. ...so suck on that, Tom. EDIT 2: "30-29 or Die!" is now a thing.
  7. My tourettes blurt out turned into logic with your insightful post, Huds. Tremendous!
  8. ...and ya know Gunner, it's kind of like the old adage...we don't need all of the OL in FA, we just really need two. Get two guys and draft two guys who can come in right away, to go along with the 1-2 solid options you currently have iand it shapes things up nicely.
  9. That's the same story as Marvin Lewis. I respectfully get annoyed with those who think this is our imagination and that it is SCS (Small CIty Syndrome). EDIT: Thus, the true importance of having a franchise QB here...to drag others here in his wake
  10. As I said recently and as I said during the season...even simply above average OL talent is not going to hit the market. It is too valuable of a position. Teams will let their WRs and RBs walk before they'd let their O lineman hit the open market.
  11. Promo, the only thing missing above is... "mic drop...Promo walks away" Edit: Here is the thing, even if Allen makes no improvement whatsoever (and I find that very unlikely as he improved throughout the year), just from the stand point of this team being better at certain positions I think they will be better...8-8....again, this is if Allen doesn't improve at all.
  12. And you know what, dammit, in my opinion Wade is an all time great defensive coordinator. I would love to see him get another ring with another team.
  13. Kent was so good. My God, he was so good. We were spoiled at the position from 86 to 96.
  14. The last Super Bowl was a quarter of century ago...more than a whole generation. No offense to anyone, but if you weren't there...man...you just don't know what it was like. Luka, explain to someone young that Third and 6 in the K-Gun Offense was a lot of times a running down, and it was Kelly making the call, and their heads might spin. ...honestly, you had to be there to see the way it worked.
  15. Get the Ring, NRC. You and Robert...please get the Ring.
  16. Thank you Kyle Crabb. Great insight. Are you done? Good...in this scenario the Bills are going to trade down, and in any scenario if they have an offer they can't pass up. EDIT: I am confident in this GM and Coach getting 3 Starters (or rotational guys) in their first three picks and hopefully 4 in their first 5, if they get an extra second or third rounder due to trading down.
  17. I heard he was the only QB in NFL history to best John Elway, Dan Marino and Joe Montana in three straight conference championships.
  18. And their not even letting him hit the market. I’m telling you even above average talent isn’t going to get out on the market, as much as I hope it would. The bodine’s of the world will be available. Really good talent just doesn’t get out there.
  19. As much as I love these threads they end up getting me too excited. The lead up to the draft is like the lead up to Christmas. However, once it’s done and you have your guys all other options are off the table. ...but man are there some excuses ting players out there.
  20. It gets down to this: I will watch, but unless it is a great party I will be in and out, especially if it is not a great game or the patriots are doing well. Here's the thing...I am tired of even rooting against them. Its not better because I have an enemy in the super bowl, it is worse because I am indifferent to them losing, on what is a championship level. If you invite me to dinner and you serve brussel sprouts and you make me eat them, which I don't like, it is going to bug me. If you keep inviting me after a couple of times, even if it is a great dinner, I am just not going to come.
  21. I honestly think he will be a consultant and involved with the Bills (not just a rah-rah guy), but i doubt he would take that much time away from his family to do that right now. He's earned these days. EDIT: Come on. Come on. Come on! KW to Lorax: "I haven't seen anyone my age in awhile." Tremendous.
  22. @1ZAYDAY1 Great post. No offense to Anthony Johnson, but I found your review of him to be absolute spot on to what I saw during the season.
  23. Yeah, it is funny to think that the LA Rams have more than 50 years of history in Los Angeles, but will be going for their first ever Super Bowl win there, while St. Louis Rams got one in only there 5th or so year.
  24. Thank God they didn't do a search on a "reach around tackle" or "3rd input running options" or "Cleveland steamer turnaround." Do you want more?
  25. Yolo, you know I love you but you have to be kidding us. The heck with the story above, the real story is the second video that rolls after the Haslam story...John Fox stating the Bills are his team to make the biggest gains next season. He likes Beane and he thinks after clearing up the dead cap space the Bills will straighten out the OLine and the O in general. Key. To. The. City. Today!!!
