  1. To equal the playing field for comparison purposes next year is there any chance we can get San Diego and Indy to bench their future Hall of Fame QBs for the entire year and rack up about 50 plus million dollars in dead cap space during the off season?
  2. Exactly, Vadar. He is a reasonable back up solution. Give this guy a couple of million or so per, and let's been done with the back-up position.
  3. You guys are ridiculous. He should be commended for not making helmet to helmet contact.
  4. Especially if his wife keeps getting pregnant! @The Firebaugh Kid Seriously, though, you guys, what an absolute waste. How talented he was. What a difference he could have made in his family's life...and his own.
  5. Karlos Williams' ban from the league has GOT to be over by now.
  6. Of course the draft is very important. However, more concerning to me (honestly) is that another team in our division, has a good young QB, and has more money than we do making the case to free agents to go there because the "better shot" is with them. So, paraphrasing what I have stated before I would love to tell FAs, "we have an established coaching staff that has made it to the playoffs, we have a great Defense, we have money for you and our QB, and our team for that matter, had a better record than that other team you might be interested in...join the fun here in WNY." "...oh...and Tom Brady is turning 42."
  7. That’s interesting, Alpha. Barkley is Bette than I thought he would be, but maybe I just was being fair to him because I wanted the Giants to trade with us.
  8. Couldn't agree more, NewEra and I have been thinking about this since the Fall. Sure, they have to endure a lot of pain these last two years, but they may be nicely set-up for the future.
  9. I want the Pats to have to play in the firs round of the playoffs and I want to crush the Dolphins' playoff dreams. I enjoyed doing it so much to the Jets. EDIT: Two more losses should kick the Pats out of the bye...please Bills...please.
  10. Dude, seriously, isn't it one of the all time great lines of dialogue in a comedy? There's a story behind who that guy/actor is in Adam Sandler's life. I can't remember it, though.
  11. BB, the fact that he can go RT is what I like, too. if he has that versatility great. It doesn’t help us if Dawkins doesn’t have that versatility, but we move him to the right to make way for the new guy. When teams already have a decent LT and they do that it just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
  12. Starr will see all five years of his deal. is he a hall of fame? Of course not. He may not ever even be a pro bowler, but he is a reasonable space eater and there just isn’t any reason to get rid of him.
  13. And the yards were seemingly there. the insanity it would be around here if we had a pretty good line, pretty good rb, pretty good QB, and pretty good receivers all in one season.
  14. That playoff run though, House, was priceless. ...too bad it has almost been just that.
  15. Yoohoo!! Top 25! We are the UB Men's Basketball of Venue Health Standards!
  16. Man, isn't Kyle Orton like that kind of pleasing weird anomaly in Bills history? OK that he was gone, but I really could have lived with another year out of him, and he finishes with a winning record (7-5). It is a little like Larry Centers. I loved Larry Centers career, glad he came here, and he was successful (80 grabs one year), but on a poor team, but before we knew it he was gone.
  17. Respectfully, we have so much cap space that does it really make so much of a difference, other than a roster spot? I think with a better oline Shady will be better, but regardless if you want him gone, then after next year he is gone and we get 8 million or so back on the cap in 2020.
  18. There you go, Stank. Although, I can't believe this thread is even still a thing. This was very much more of a Fall NFL season thing, as opposed to a Holiday or Winter one.
  19. Jeepers, T master, I haven't thought about that in awhile, and I used to think about that a lot. You are 100% correct.
  20. Regardless of how the draft and FA shakes out, we know that they will address both line and WR. The thing is as bad as our receivers are, I just think we are in a more desperate situation at Oline. I think everything on offense, including the protection of your first pick QB, just moves up with a better line. I hope we don't get into a bidding war with the Jets on FA Olinemen. They have more money than us and we desperately need good ones, not just guys that other teams gave up on.
  21. He was crying so he had to to take them to win. He was a guest in a Bills box and he was being such a dick to men and women and laughing all through half time, pissing on his hosts. The response by us in the box as the tides turned...was far from exemplary. ?
  22. I was in box box in the end zone corner on the Houston side. i had pizza, wings, beef on Weck, peanuts, beer and booze. I wasn’t leaving no matter what the score was. i have also told this story here before about a guest of one the ticket holders in the box being a loud mouth jerk and flaunting that he had bet $5,000 (I know, I know, but I am being serious here, and mind you it was 1993 $5k) against the Bills...man, even if he didn’t make the bet this guy was an ass. it was the greatest shadenfreude moment of my entire life during that second half...probably for every Bills fan in there, as well. tears...I kid you not, he was in tears at the end.
