  1. @1ZAYDAY1 Great post. No offense to Anthony Johnson, but I found your review of him to be absolute spot on to what I saw during the season.
  2. Yeah, it is funny to think that the LA Rams have more than 50 years of history in Los Angeles, but will be going for their first ever Super Bowl win there, while St. Louis Rams got one in only there 5th or so year.
  3. Thank God they didn't do a search on a "reach around tackle" or "3rd input running options" or "Cleveland steamer turnaround." Do you want more?
  4. Yolo, you know I love you but you have to be kidding us. The heck with the story above, the real story is the second video that rolls after the Haslam story...John Fox stating the Bills are his team to make the biggest gains next season. He likes Beane and he thinks after clearing up the dead cap space the Bills will straighten out the OLine and the O in general. Key. To. The. City. Today!!!
  5. Man, TS, not to get ahead of ourselves, but I think you would be seriously looking at 3 definite, 4 likely, and possibly 5 starters with the above, if done correctly. Yesterday I mentioned another second could get us (this is my preference mind you) the best T, a great WR and one of those Tier 1 Cs talked about in this year's draft. All in the first three picks. Throw in a possible G and another lineman in FA I can't help but get excited about the grunt end of OL foundation getting set-up.
  6. Please tell me FA is on Friday and the draft is next Tuesday, because I honestly can't wait for all this. I feel like a giddy little girl who can't stop twirling her hair in excitement, except I am twirling air as I am bald.
  7. After the 2004 season I don't think I could be more excited. I knew we were going to step back after last season playoff run, so this most recent August I was a little less excited. ...so yeah, I am absolutely fired up (pending draft and free agency, to a degree) for the 2019 season. I don't know if it is a playoff year, NHK, but I do know it will be the foundation of the team for years to come and not just a blip that goes away a year or two later.
  8. I know, right Huddsy? This is honestly what I wanted to at least hear about this off season. I loved seeing Josh at a Sabres game...especially a game that was more than a week after the Bills' season ended. He was in town for a reason and it wasn't hockey. The Bills' season ended. His didn't.
  9. Nobody deserves to go out this way, but especially this guy. Mr. Thankless QB for the entirety of his career. Honestly believe if healthy he would have taken his third team to the playoffs this year. Damn shame.
  10. Yeah, but for me I really didn't like the pass to Hogan wherein you clearly see the ball was starting to come out of his control and was only saved by hitting the ground so he could regain control. That getting upheld after review was ridiculous.
  11. As I stated in another thread, 1 first and two seconds...T, WR, still top tier C in our first three picks, plus a T and a G in free agency. TASTY!!
  12. Ya know, D, it is f'n ridiculous. Look, if they end up with a new stadium, fine. However, I've written in other threads on this board that the NFL's chasing of the stadium dollar as an increasing revenue source is a fools errand, especially in a place like Buffalo and most importantly because I believe more than any other sport the NFL is best watched on TV (although maybe that is just me). Tap hard other revenue sources but these football cathedrals whose sole purpose is to charge the fans more are going to end at some point...honestly, I believe they will.
  13. dneveu, honestly at least once every couple of weeks I think about and appreciate how fortunate we are to still have a team. So easily could be us.
  14. I know you need a dance partner to trade down. However, it would be intriguing to trade down in Round 1, get a tackle, get a WR with the Bills 2nd round pick and then pick up one of those tier 1 Cs in round 2 with what you got in the trade down. Jeepers can you imagine if you also pick a G and T in FA?! ...sorry, just like thinking about it.
  15. I always dug this song. Honestly ranks close to New York, New York. I also love Sweet Home Chicago, and Boston Your My Town. ...but I'll take this one, thank you very much.
  16. As a Bills fan I am not sure whether I should be rooting against Amy Adams to lose her 6th academy award, or for her to break out of our shared "0-for" streak. Best Supporting Actress nomination today for Vice, and below is my post from earlier in this thread: We are the Amy Adams of the NFL, or maybe she is the Buffalo Bills of acting. I believe she is 0-5 for the Oscar. EDIT: Yep, she also lost 4 in 6 years 2006 - Supporting Actress for June Bug 2009 - Supporting Actress for Doubt 2011 - Supporting Actress for The Fighter 2013 - Supporting Actress for The Master 2014 - Best Actress for American Hustle Although Glen Close is nominated, too, and I think she is 0-6, but not in such rapid succession...like say, 4 straight SB losses.
  17. Forgive me, whatdrought, I am not trying to over simplify this, I am just being concise. I agree with what Shady says above, and additionally...have a good GM that keeps picking good young talent. Maybe not great, but just good enough, and through multiple rounds, to spread across the board on your team and keep you competitive as you lose some very higher end talent as a result of your QB salary.
  18. It is a shame this game was tainted by this and just a bit on a good guy like NRC. Not his fault at all he was just playing the game. However, I would have loved it if everything stayed the same and just before NRC gets there he would have turned to face the direction of the ball and put his hands up. People would still complain, but the controversy would be over as he would be going for the ball. ...damn, second thought, if he is there way to early that it probably should be called in that instance, too. Still would have liked to have seen it.
  19. Row...row...I remember the play, Not live, but I have seen that video countless times. Damn. When I was watching SB XIV I for some reason thought they were going for their 4th straight...at the time. Still, 4 in 6 years...amazing. A couple of teams have done 3 in 4 years (Cowboys, Patriots), which is tremendous, but I still rank the Steelers a little higher.
  20. Or they would have gone to 3 straight, too? Didn't know that.
  21. Spot on as always and well said. One thing though, No Hud my friend, Miami did do it before us. I believe SBs V, VI and VII.
  22. @H2o Bark's, when reading it I actually had the image of H2o delivering it with a cold, deliberate and firm voice, without inflection and without pause or mistake.
  23. Btw, side note: enough with this. Either be Robey or be Coleman, or be nothing.
  24. They are at a disadvantage if the refs allow the ground to actually CAUSE a reception for the Pats, in plain sight, like they did with Hogan yesterday. especially if not overturned by obviousness in replay.
