This is one of favorite pictures. This was from the 7 footer that fell on the southtowns. Its clear in Buffalo but looking south you can see the moisture being sucked up from the lake and dropping on the southtowns. Reminds me of a sandstorm.

I think during this time Buffalo received like 18 inches - 2ft....  10 to 15 miles south of Buffalo there was 7 feet

This, this is what I, and all of us, mean.

    Thank you.

The storm 10 years or so ago we got a dusting in Williamsville, meanwhile they got 3 feet a couple of miles away in Cheektowaga.

No, the fact that some idiot posted a video showing light snow in some part of the Buffalo area does not mean the winter storm is “fake news” or that there isn’t real and sound public safety reason for a driving ban

Yes, “Lake effect snow” is a known and common phenomenon in Western New York.  School kids grow up knowing all about it.

Yes, it shows up very well on radar.  Heavy snow in one location and almost no snow a few miles away

    Apparently I’m not alone:

Eric Wood started here, and basically ended telling people to “come see him” LOL

I just hope Josh Allen opened his gate so it didn’t freeze shut or get snowed in, and I hope we don’t need Squirrel Winter’s QB Delivery Service

Beck, showing them The Wall…that hard line that shows streets and a community and then…just a blank white nothingness extending upward for miles…that hopefully gets the point across.  Adams was a d*** in that and other threads, but I couldn’t link to the image I’m referencing above to put it in there.

Also, and I hate to say this, but what about 50 or so dead in one day last year somehow doesn’t factor into anyone’s sense or sanity?

    Jack***es.

Objectively 4:30p is better because it offers more time to clear the snow and still allows for a daylight arrival.

I absolutely don’t disagree with the more time to clear and the advantages associated with it.  However, after the fact I don’t think it is as problematic or as much an issue, and I am just weighing that with having the game wrap up later in the evening, the effect on people headed home in the evening especially after a “day” and not a morning of unfortunately getting liquored up, and what benefits the team going forward.

Regardless of it being less time after the storm, I believe it is safer having people get there and be there during the day, and on the way home before we are in full evening swing.

And yes, we’ve seen them before, but whatever offers the safest contritions for attendance and play while also giving us the lost rest possible before the next game is the target.

Nuch, I’ve taken so much heat here over this and other posts I have made about a 1 pm Monday kickoff time, like I am some sort of d*** for even suggesting the idea.

I am some sort of d***, but not for these posts.

We played them this year.  They know us, we know them.  No big deal.

With a torn labrum Dodson is going to be fighting it for as long as they keep playing - an extra day isn't really going to matter for him - what will matter is how many hits he takes on the shoulder and how often it pops out

Labrum needs to be fixed in the offseason

let’s hope he doesn’t get hit much.

Steve, I’m not aiming my sarcasm at you.  I am aiming it at the situation as this is the first I’m reading about it.

it is sort of the “guy can still play games but one of the worst case scenarios” thing.

He’s a LB.  This is terrible news on a guy that is technically day to day and has been a starter for most of the season.

but a little pat on yours lol

Julian, I also said how good this D would be once we got Von back!

    😂

However, one that I will that I have written before and I hope will be true: I don’t think Tre White misses a day of training camp.  He will be back and ready to go…BUT subject to cap limitations.

I think that right now, this team is 10 times better than last year entering the playoffs.

I think it’s important to recognize what wasn’t said last season. McD and Frazier were playing so far “off” on defense because they had no other choice. We didn’t have nearly enough healthy horses on defense down the stretch. I simply think they chose a slow death instead of a quick one in that Bengals game. Playing more aggressive would’ve been a worse result.

I simply can’t find the posts (plural because I said it a few times), but I honestly said this team could finish 11-6 and be better than last year’s 13-3 team.  I also said I would take this year’s team.

That’s not a pat on my back.  It’s a pat on theirs.

    Go Bills!

Sorry about pasting this here but not much activity on TBD Ticket board. Long time member & STH of 4 tix and know some of you. Going to the game this weekend with 2 of my tix and have my 35 yr lower bowl seats available due to friend’s sickness. Want a Bills fan to have them rather than sell where a Steelers fan can snag them. Will be very reasonable on a price. Here’s the post and will delete this post in 24 hrs if no takers & post them for sale. Here’s link of my post.

Mr. Info, that is nice of you and although I don’t believe I will be making it to the game I just had to mention your seats in 113 are in the same location as my dad’s tickets back in the day (row 12 and 13).

I’m sorry…just got me thinking about him and those days as kid going to games.

I miss him and he would love this.  He and my mom have great seats above.  I just wish I could enjoy it with them.

    Go Bills.

    Maybe a little.  😜

I have no real argument with this all pro list, either.

However, 1 question: if the Niners DON’T win the Super Bowl this year are they going to get any heat from the talking head gutter-snipes around the country the way the Bills do?

What magical excuse is going to come up for it to be ok and give the Niners a pass?

I like the Niners, but I’m making the call here, not only do I don’t think they’re gonna win the Super Bowl, but I don’t even think they’re going to make it to the Super Bowl. Just a hunch.

The Bills faced a combination of Josh being a bit too fast on reads in some cases, in others he was not presented with good options.

Thought this was an excellent explanation and balanced by Warner.  The Bills were beating themselves. Then they adjusted.

Kurt Warner is my spirit animal.  Brief, complete and accurate analysis.

    Love it.

  12.

Everybody, I have to go do some work-work for bit.

I don’t know all of your schedules, but are we going to have someone checking in on FinHeaven to make sure they aren’t going to do something stupid and hurt themselves?

Seriously, I’m a little worried about them and they shouldn’t be left alone.

Regret is a dish traditionally served “too late” and we should avoid it at all costs.
