  1. For the record, in comparison through two years Zay (83 rec, 968 yards, 9 tds) is more than doubling up on Hall of a Famer Julian Edelman’s first two years (44 rec, 445 yards, 1 td).
  2. It has happened, though, and at the toughest position. warren moon, Doug flutie. Flutie actually better the second time around in the nfl after cutting his teeth in the cfl.
  3. I loved the office, but there was a sameness about that got trying on me, even in the early years. Years 2-4 were the best. P&R could be overly goofy at times, but (and I stand by this) and times was just plain funnier than the office. Additionally there was growth along the way that didn't involve just the main characters.
  4. Can't help it, Huds, offseason being soooooo offseason for us right now. Come on, bring on the combine!!
  5. Good point, NHK, but were you aware that Julian Edelman is a Hall of Famer?
  6. Respectfully, you can't just give a show a pass on 44.4% of its existence. ...maybe you can, but you shouldn't. Parks and Rec for me.
  7. "Wait...hang on. Hi, Sal, I like you quite a bit, but stupid is on the phone and it wants its story back."
  8. Sorry if somebody already covered this, but the writer, Chris Trapasso, also did writing for the Bills on Buffalo Rumblings before coming to CBS...just in case that makes a difference.
  9. No,no...it's perfectly fine if this just plain stops.
  10. Remember when we could laugh at ourselves? BTW, I remember a comedian doing a bit a few years ago. I am not going to redo it as a bit here, but he simply mentioned that If he had to prepare a vegan meal for vegetarians coming over to his house for a party then shouldn't they be responsible for making a steak when he went over to theirs.
  11. Jeepers, Gugny, I didn't even know that he was jewish. Man, the first gray, bald, overweight Italian guy with bad eyes that becomes MVP of the SB is getting me as his first vote into Canton.
  12. Scott I may be wrong, but I believe Baltimore has beat them once over the the past few years. ...and I don't think Baltimore is very good, other than their SB run...I just don't. however, I do get that that could be me. The 4.5 wins per year is because Baltimore would sneak in with a win every once in awhile. Either way I honestly believe the Patriots are just as successful. I think it is Pittsburgh, and not NE, that gets hurt by this alignment.
  13. Scott, respectfully, even cherry picking out the Browns I think they regularly would sweep the bengals and Baltimore (yes), and split or sometimes sweep the Steelers. Throw in the occasional upset and I still think the average might be 4.5 or more wins a year.
  14. I stated it in another thread, but at 499 grabs, 5,390 yards and 30 tds we shouldn’t even be having this conversation, especially at 32 years old. He is the Welker replacement. That said, and I can’t believe I am saying this, but I believe part of the reason why this is coming up....honestly, is because Edelman is white. i don’t care that black reporters and black former athletes are also bringing this up. I think this is part of the underlying reason, along with the desire to make the Patriots overall success about someone other than Brady and Bill.
  15. I was being sarcastic, Mango.
  16. BTW, just as an aside. in their first game against the Pats... Jared Goff, 19-38, 229 yards, 0 TDS, 1 Int. Josh Allen, 20-41, 217 yards, 1 TD, 2 Ints, 5 rushes for 30 yards. Bragging rights? Not at all. Not great performances by either. However, I just wasn't overly hard on Allen after that game on the 23rd and the above comparison helps a little.
  17. I could be wrong as I am going off the top of my head, but isn't this the lowest number of points given up in a losing effort? I think the next closest is the Skins with 14 against Miami and then the Cowboys, 16, against the Coltss in SB 5...Colts for that matter against the Jets in SB III, as well.
  18. You know I respect you quite a bit, Huds, but you seem to be misinformed. From what many across the land say forget about Tom and forget about BB. The reason why the Patriots keep winning world championships or going to the SB is because the Bills, Dolphins and Jets are so bad and can't compete against them. Please ignore the fact that we scored more points in both our games against a team that owns us than the NFC Champion Greatest Show on Turf, The Sequel did last night. Oh, and this just in: people are stupid.
  19. Still good enough for me.
  20. As if I needed more excuses. i’ll take it!
  21. It's why he was suspended, and I believe fined, for crying out loud. Look, punish the guy. Suspend the guy. Suspend him without pay. It wasn't very professional, but considering it wasn't actionable to end the guys employment is a little harsh.
  22. Outstanding, Huds. Honestly, brother, how long has it been since we've had not only loved our line, but loved the depth at it? Knowing that if someone goes down we don't have to worry goes the next Bill up can go a game or 2? Man, I mean we've been pining so long for just five good ones the last memory I have of having more than 5 goes back to the sup bowl days. I wish Marv would have added OL to his, you never can have enough quality DBs statement.
  23. Bandit...that is a straight forward and concise solid answer. Thank you, Sir.
