Thank you Kyle Crabb. Great insight. Are you done? Good...in this scenario the Bills are going to trade down, and in any scenario if they have an offer they can't pass up. EDIT: I am confident in this GM and Coach getting 3 Starters (or rotational guys) in their first three picks and hopefully 4 in their first 5, if they get an extra second or third rounder due to trading down.

Jim Kelly wants to sit down with Josh Allen...

I heard he was the only QB in NFL history to best John Elway, Dan Marino and Joe Montana in three straight conference championships. -
Right Tackle market shaping up
dollars 2 donuts replied to CaptnCoke11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And their not even letting him hit the market. I’m telling you even above average talent isn’t going to get out on the market, as much as I hope it would. The bodine’s of the world will be available. Really good talent just doesn’t get out there. -
Draftniks: Name your 2019 Draft "Crush"
dollars 2 donuts replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much as I love these threads they end up getting me too excited. The lead up to the draft is like the lead up to Christmas. However, once it’s done and you have your guys all other options are off the table. ...but man are there some excuses ting players out there. -
Who’s watching the super bowl
dollars 2 donuts replied to 1billsnut's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It gets down to this: I will watch, but unless it is a great party I will be in and out, especially if it is not a great game or the patriots are doing well. Here's the thing...I am tired of even rooting against them. Its not better because I have an enemy in the super bowl, it is worse because I am indifferent to them losing, on what is a championship level. If you invite me to dinner and you serve brussel sprouts and you make me eat them, which I don't like, it is going to bug me. If you keep inviting me after a couple of times, even if it is a great dinner, I am just not going to come. -
I honestly think he will be a consultant and involved with the Bills (not just a rah-rah guy), but i doubt he would take that much time away from his family to do that right now. He's earned these days. EDIT: Come on. Come on. Come on! KW to Lorax: "I haven't seen anyone my age in awhile." Tremendous.

Senior Bowl- Day 3 A Bills fan first hand take
dollars 2 donuts replied to CEN-CAL17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
@1ZAYDAY1 Great post. No offense to Anthony Johnson, but I found your review of him to be absolute spot on to what I saw during the season. -
Yolo, you know I love you but you have to be kidding us. The heck with the story above, the real story is the second video that rolls after the Haslam story...John Fox stating the Bills are his team to make the biggest gains next season. He likes Beane and he thinks after clearing up the dead cap space the Bills will straighten out the OLine and the O in general. Key. To. The. City. Today!!!

Man, TS, not to get ahead of ourselves, but I think you would be seriously looking at 3 definite, 4 likely, and possibly 5 starters with the above, if done correctly. Yesterday I mentioned another second could get us (this is my preference mind you) the best T, a great WR and one of those Tier 1 Cs talked about in this year's draft. All in the first three picks. Throw in a possible G and another lineman in FA I can't help but get excited about the grunt end of OL foundation getting set-up.

After the 2004 season I don't think I could be more excited. I knew we were going to step back after last season playoff run, so this most recent August I was a little less excited. ...so yeah, I am absolutely fired up (pending draft and free agency, to a degree) for the 2019 season. I don't know if it is a playoff year, NHK, but I do know it will be the foundation of the team for years to come and not just a blip that goes away a year or two later.

Bils fans the Dee Ford appreciation thread
dollars 2 donuts replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, but for me I really didn't like the pass to Hogan wherein you clearly see the ball was starting to come out of his control and was only saved by hitting the ground so he could regain control. That getting upheld after review was ridiculous. -

Ya know, D, it is f'n ridiculous. Look, if they end up with a new stadium, fine. However, I've written in other threads on this board that the NFL's chasing of the stadium dollar as an increasing revenue source is a fools errand, especially in a place like Buffalo and most importantly because I believe more than any other sport the NFL is best watched on TV (although maybe that is just me). Tap hard other revenue sources but these football cathedrals whose sole purpose is to charge the fans more are going to end at some point...honestly, I believe they will. -

dneveu, honestly at least once every couple of weeks I think about and appreciate how fortunate we are to still have a team. So easily could be us. -
Replacing Russell Bodine
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know you need a dance partner to trade down. However, it would be intriguing to trade down in Round 1, get a tackle, get a WR with the Bills 2nd round pick and then pick up one of those tier 1 Cs in round 2 with what you got in the trade down. Jeepers can you imagine if you also pick a G and T in FA?! ...sorry, just like thinking about it. -

I always dug this song. Honestly ranks close to New York, New York. I also love Sweet Home Chicago, and Boston Your My Town. ...but I'll take this one, thank you very much. -
Are the Bills the Ronald Wayne of the NFL?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Scorp83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a Bills fan I am not sure whether I should be rooting against Amy Adams to lose her 6th academy award, or for her to break out of our shared "0-for" streak. Best Supporting Actress nomination today for Vice, and below is my post from earlier in this thread: We are the Amy Adams of the NFL, or maybe she is the Buffalo Bills of acting. I believe she is 0-5 for the Oscar. EDIT: Yep, she also lost 4 in 6 years 2006 - Supporting Actress for June Bug 2009 - Supporting Actress for Doubt 2011 - Supporting Actress for The Fighter 2013 - Supporting Actress for The Master 2014 - Best Actress for American Hustle Although Glen Close is nominated, too, and I think she is 0-6, but not in such rapid succession...like say, 4 straight SB losses. -
Forgive me, whatdrought, I am not trying to over simplify this, I am just being concise. I agree with what Shady says above, and additionally...have a good GM that keeps picking good young talent. Maybe not great, but just good enough, and through multiple rounds, to spread across the board on your team and keep you competitive as you lose some very higher end talent as a result of your QB salary.

NRC on the “non-call” (Update: FINED!)
dollars 2 donuts replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a shame this game was tainted by this and just a bit on a good guy like NRC. Not his fault at all he was just playing the game. However, I would have loved it if everything stayed the same and just before NRC gets there he would have turned to face the direction of the ball and put his hands up. People would still complain, but the controversy would be over as he would be going for the ball. ...damn, second thought, if he is there way to early that it probably should be called in that instance, too. Still would have liked to have seen it.
