Is there any chance we could reach around and get some Love towards the later part of the draft?

I respect the man for realizing it was time to call it a career, hang it up, and walk away from the booth before he really started to embarrass himself.

@Alphadawg7 Alpha on a team that was hideous on offense, which I know he was part of, he caught 56, for 656 yards, and 7 TDs. Hhis receptions, yards, and TDs led the team and he now has 2 years under his belt, which is important in the NFL when it comes to receivers. I just don't see a former CFL player, or a rookie coming in and taking over the lead on this team. If I am wrong, it would be great, because I would imagine you'd be looking at a rookie with 70 grabs and maybe Zay around 58-60. However, I just don't see it. Now, if we get a FA WR, depending upon the FA, I might see somethings differently. However, not to the degree of him not being on this team. He was this Coach's 2nd overall pick.

...and I don't think it is us just going to bat for the kid and being in his corner. What it really comes down to is that he has improved and may improve even more in his third season, with better oline, but other young receivers around him.

The Buffalo Bills leading receiver for the last two years will also be their leading receiver in 2019. However he will be pushed by a rookie for total receptions and he won't have the Big plays that Foster will have. Wild guess....Zay 68 rec, rookie 56, Foster with 44.

Although he will have more than enough money to live on, there is even more to be made when you are an NFL Hall of Famer. Yeah, I completely agree. I retirement he will essentially be a JAG who made a lot of money. That is tough on an athelet when you fade quickly from people's memory. Very well said, TNR. Dak, even a little bit more food for thought...JA could reasonably do the 220 yards per game, with a very reasonable 7.33 yards per attempt ("YPA"), given the way he throws. That would mean 30 passes a game and if the kid has no real improvement on his completion percentage (which, however, I think he will), he could put up the yardage and YPA stated above with 30 passes a game and completing 16 of them (53.3%). Again, though, I just plain think that overall all he will be better, but even if he isn't it could still be a productive year for him.

GOAT, you know...we know, it is not right to do this stuff in the first place. When the girl is young and likely doesn't speak English, your antenna should be up. If he got 3,500 hundred passing, 640 rushing and 30 total TDs (passing and rushing) I would be fine with those stats, with the caveat that I need more than 20 TDs passing. 23-7 P/R? sure, fine.

You know what, although I cannot back it up with articles how come every time we have a low quality rated field, we upgrade it with cutting edge tech and invariably a year later the players review the league surfaces and ours is still the worst?! For once I want to get a new field and have other NFL players come in and say, "dang, this is a great field!". ...ok...that's my minor and worthless rant. Seriously it just bugs me because it sticks in my memory.

Anderson is going to collect, I believe, almost a million dollars to run the scout team and occasionally throw out some pearls of wisdom to the younglings. ...life must be sweet.
