  1. Will someone please tell Gettlemen to shut-up?!
  2. I have super, super, super, super poor memory. I swear I thought there was one year when they weren't getting to him. ...he did hold onto the ball for a bit.
  3. I know and it's a dream. Man though, TOboy, I really don't want to see this kid getting dropped anywhere close to 30 times. Wasn't TT sacked 20 or less times? He didn't have the quickest release and Allen is quick to move in the pocket. These guys have to be better than what we've had...man, they just have to be.
  4. @Virgil Virgil how will the community poll be handled? After the 8th pick do we just come in and request a particular player for a couple of hours and do a tally or after the 8th pick will there be a an actually poll with the 5-8 most likely candidates? Thank you.
  5. I think someone posted here before, and correct me if I am wrong, that Allen was sacked 17 times within 2.5 seconds of the snap of the ball. The added stat is that total represents 60.7% of all his sacks (28), and that was in 12 games. I would be thrilled if this line, and Allen with Second Year Eyes were to cut his sack total to 20 in 16 games...just to start.
  6. This game is still proudly on my dvr...long live my dvr!
  7. Boy, you are not kidding. All in the second 8 games: 31 receptions, 371 yards and 6 TDs. Sweet production. Wait..wait. Sorry, my bad. Those are Zay's numbers. The guy we all want to run out of town. SCREW YOU ZAY AND YOUR SECOND HALF OF YOUR SECOND YEAR NUMBERS THAT IF WE DIDN'T SAY YOUR NAME WOULD BE PRETTY GOOD!!!
  8. Look, you are just plain damn right it is scary. I'm not joking here because I've known people who have had brain surgeries that suffered long term effects afterwards and almost died from "Oopsies" while the doctors were in there. Prayers to Mrs Stafford and the Stafford family.
  9. HERE'S TO STRAIGHT FACES ON PAPER! Wait, what? I don't know. I am just drunk with joy. I hope and believe you will be right on this one.
  10. Jeepers Eps, I do love this signing, but as crazy as this sounds I am looking forward to also seeing what Teller and Boettger have developed into this year. Is this the greatest line in the NFL? No. However, is this one of the very deepest? Man, I don't know how anyone can say it isn't.
  11. I've watched a few. Some things I like. Honestly though you can't even remotely imagine how morbidly bad passing in this League is. It makes the games I've watched so monotonous. It's not that you won't occasional nice pass play, but the savings grace of this League was hopefully going to be an entertaining passing game going into the Spring. Garrett Gilbert (Gale's son) is far and away the League leader in passing on the Number 1 team in the League and he has 269 yards per game. He is one of only two QBs with a 200 yards per game average, and one of only the same two that have double digit touchdowns. In 32 games in the 2019 season there have been 64 touchdowns thrown.
  12. Amen, brother.
  13. Not just going to limit things to the Majors, NHK. I am looking forward to again taking my father-in-law to the second Bisons home stand where it is likely that Junior will be unleashed for his last time in Buffalo. When we went last year it was a beautiful evening with 16,000 in attendance and he hit a home run. I love the pastoral and lazy memories this game gives me.
  14. My goodness, Eli will get to the end of this year and if he calls it quits will walk out of the NFL having made 252 million dollars in salary.
  15. So agree with the seats thing. For crying out loud we are sports fans, not viking rowers.
  16. Brother, I and others have been heart broken over this before, as you are now. I am so very sorry for this stress on you. Your try to make your pets last days as pain free and as enjoyable as possible and never let on what is going to happen. However, they know a little bit, but the vet makes it very easy on them. ...the pain is ours to endure. However, it is worth it when you go back over how much joy they brought to the family...and you.
  17. Is there any chance that after his time in New England he felt a bit... wait for it. wait for it. not even worth waiting for it this far. please, don’t even wait anymore. ...deflated? (told you)
  18. How did he ever put up yards against that robust Tampa defense?!
  19. A susan flies says the baker times.
  20. Props to you, Seasons, for just pulling in Apollo out of no where. Generally love the Rocky movies, but honestly everything could have ended right there at the end of Rocky III and I'd be fine.
  21. Two things, quick, and I am sorry if they have already been talked about: 1. Given Pegulas comments are we just taking a domed stadium or retractable roof stadium off the board? I believe so, unless you can find a way to bring that under 600 or so million dollars, which a shot in the dark tells me is the sweet spot. 2. Wouldn't many of us anyways prefer or a more moderate stadium with more reasonable tickets than the cathedrals we are seeing built?
  22. Anything that gives them more concussive hits to the head...is probably not a good idea for a young NFL player.
  23. I was hoping for even just one more year.
