  1. Great analysis, Shaw, as usual. So, in a way I guess we are looking for those guys at a position of need for the Bills in the 20s which talent at that position drops of precipitously after that guy is drafted.
  2. I wish we could double emoji as you would have gotten a beer thanks, as well.
  3. wait, Shady...so, in other words, this wasn't our imagination? The thing we all said was a real thing and not fair turned out to be a real thing and not fair even though common sense would tell any upright walking sloth that this was: a) a real thing; and b) not f***ing fair.
  4. @IgotBILLStopay Igots has mean on this Q. WIlliams trade up thing so much that I can't think about anything else. Stupid attractive draft nuisance enticing Igots. Yeah, I would like the above for what it does to our D, especially over the next 4-5 years (Williams, Star, Phillips). However, If it doesn't happen I am a big fan of trading what we need to get two in the top 32. However, I don't necessarily want to trade back and then use some capital to trade back in. I like the potential pick at 9. I'd rather have 9 and 20 something rather than teens, 20 something a little extra capital later on. I want those first two picks to just plain start.
  5. Shaw! Players love Buffalo. It's a no brainer he would sign here. *sits and waits for both sides*
  6. One of our board members linked to a great article about how teammates of Wilson's were more than a bit disgruntled and how the coaching staff and whole organization caters to Wilson...almost like a a softer precursor to Dunne's article on Rogers. ...that said, man, Russell does bring it.
  7. Yeah, but the thing is my original post was about a number of guys that I like are potentially going to be cut...that hasn't changed with whether we trade for draft picks or whether the coaches get to see it instead of me.
  8. It’s just that I don’t think the preseason gives that much of a taste. They’ll do it in practice, but not many of us will see it.
  9. @IgotBILLStopay I haven’t considered him him this whole draft season as I always thought he was out of reach. Additionally, even though we’ve filled a number of holes, we still have others to fill. All that said I believe I am with you on this, and I would give up a quite bit to do it. With this move I think an already good/great defense becomes an absolute mess for opposing offenses to play against.
  10. Absolutely true. However, don’t you like to play with new toys first and then eventually get bored and pass them on?
  11. Jeepers freaking creepers, in August this team is going to end up cutting guys I like quite a bit.
  12. What about compesatory picks?
  13. This is absolutely horrible. Additionally, and I’ll do it because I was the guy who brought it up in a similar thread a few months ago with an arrested former player who spent less than an eighth of his pro career as a bill but was shown in the article as a bill, it follows here. Although, in the articles defense he was briefly here, but did see action in the regular season.
  14. Whose racks are they using? i couldn’t see it clearly, but I don’t think they are Rogue.
  15. Because for the last couple of yours 680 around here would look pretty good.
  16. Well, I was going to start a thread on how Frida Lyngstad, formerly with ABBA, may be a Bills fan, but after this thread I would feel stupid. ...er.
  17. In 2009 on team that was almost as bad, for 2 million dollars the Bills got a 35-36 year old T.O. to catch 55 balls for 829 yards and 5 tds. I bring it up because it is still just so amazing how bad Benjamin was, in his youth with a contract on the line. If the ball was on fire you'd think he'd catch it. You'd think he'd run every route as if his life depending on it. ...it just never seemed that way.
  18. MJ, I respect the heck out of you, but I disagree in this instance. I actually believe in my vulnerable football heart of hearts that cries itself to sleep at night while eating chicken fingers...hot, that if they had started Mayfield from the get go I think they would have won the division. I am also not just basing that on the first two games, but rather how he maybe would have progressed over the season. Maybe they also would have locked it up before the end of the season if Hue had been fired a little earlier. Since then I believe they have only gotten better and the draft will fill in some holes that makes an extremely interesting team at a number of different positions, that much better.
  19. Rags, if so could he drop to the second? If he does and the Bills didn't take a WR in the first, do you think it is a no brainer to take him here (like some mocks have shown)? I just know very little about him.
  20. Big gloves? Edit: @HansLanda Crap, I should have kept reading. Sorry, Hans, I defer to you, good Sir.
  21. @RiotAct *sad face* Hey, hey, hey, buckaroo. He won't. Come on and show me a smile!
  22. IT'S HAPPENING!!! IT'S HAPPENING!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  23. I do like watching the young players, but man Nick, I cringe when the true meat and potatoes of this team is out there to get shot at. I want him to take a knee when a guy is within 2 feet of him and I don't care what it looks like.
  24. Paul Rudd, who are you kidding? I watched some cable fantasy football thing you were on a few years ago where the team you picked...was the Buffalo Bills. You got a soft spot for them somewhere...don't go playing all hard to get.
  25. If Allen blows out his knee in a game in August...that one will count.
