  1. MJS, I thought so, too. However, there are guys here with first hand knowledge that swear up and down about his dickdom.
  2. I did like him before the draft, but as it got closer for me it came down to one thing and I posted about it. I think he is a dick. ”Oh you mean he is a tough as nails no nonsense competitor?” No...I think he is a dick. People who know him personally think he is a dick. For comparison, for those of you who think Chris Hogan is a dick, think along those same lines. maybe it hasn’t shown in Arizona as some will defend, but that is his dickdom laying in wait. ”You don’t like his politics or how he is outspoken!” i could careless about his politics and I love how out spoken some of the Bills are...I actually love the character it shows. No...it is because people I know are familiar with him and he is a U.S., Grade A off the bone dick.
  3. That makes more than one of us.
  4. Please can we pay Brandon Beane a gagillion dollars so we never, ever, ever, have to go through this sort of bulls*** again?
  5. Please Pancho, please...if not, please dear Lord ease his pain. This is heartbreaking.
  6. As the man who created the “Beane is a witch” thread, I approve of this thread, especially since Beane got my guy. Although, I would have again showed him the “BB” shaved into my chest had he traded back into the first and got N’Keal. Keep it going, Beano!
  7. Star, Oliver, Harry and a Philips... Jeepers.
  8. At 9 we re-draft Aaron Maybin and an immediately re-hired Russ Brandon announces the pick.
  9. Look at you, BB! The hell with drafting a RB you say, and you know what, this year I think I am with you. Little nervous about Sweat, but I get why you picked him. I like Samuel and wish I knew more about Kaden Smith.
  10. "Dear Chuck, Respectfully, you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Sincerely, Donte Whitner" (Sure...SURE...I mean, Bagel from this Board and I were SO SURE it was going to be Ngata)
  11. and THIS is why I don't send Ridge Christmas cards with a return address on them! R-dubs...I am the fat guy in the ugly reindeer sweater. Bill, here's the thing, I am also tremendously busy with family and work. However, this board is one of the few things I do have time for on the side and considering what a great job so many of our members do around here of summarizing the drafts I really get almost all my information from here.
  12. Congrats to the Bills for drafting at least 3 players with at least 10,000 career yards rushing.
  13. I now like about 5 guys in this draft at 9 and about the same for round 2. If one of them gets picked, great...the thing is, like with the Christmas gift you didn’t get, there will be disappointment over the 4 other guys you will no longer have the chance to draft. It’s what I hate about this process. We invest so much stupid time, starting in January, ramping up in February, crystallized in March due to free agency, and virus like in April. I know more about these young men than I know about some of my relatives, and I work with some of my relatives. I have football crushes like a 10 year old kid and I am old enough to not remember being a 10 year old kid. And it all begins in 36 hours...as much as it will come to an end...And I will love my Stretch Armstrong, but will morn that I did not receive a Radio Flyer.
  14. We traded up to get the third QB off the board last year, and that was qb. With all the receiver talent in 2014 why the hell would we move up to take the first receiver off the board, especially at the cost of a number1? I agree with you on this, but the EJ pick definitely played a part in this.
  15. ... ... ... aghhhhhh! .... (I may be OK with this). Although I prefer giving up more other picks. Next year's 2nd and next year's 5th along with what is already being given up.
  16. I will join in a minute, as this is about a minute later.
  17. I like this young man, but as others have stated boy is the film unimpressive. I know he is quick, but it just looks like very single guy he is lined up in front of just plain doesn't try. I mean really looks like that is highlight really isn't as much as anything special he does, but just an indictment of how bad the guy he is playing against is.
  18. It has dragons and the undead. Good stuff.
  19. My goodness what a freak. I can't believe how many of his TDs were longer than 10 yards, and how many were highlight reel material. It makes me think that I don't need good receivers for Allen as much as I need good receivers and 1 great one for Allen.
  20. May Day...not gonna lie...I dig some of those houses! I want to go to the ball park right now!
  21. Let me see, 25,000 yards rushing between 2 of them. One is known for being fast and evasive, another is a slammer who is a great lead blocker to boot, and a third has damn good hands for a RB and has a career average of 4.0. Essentially, everything you said. Yeah, I am with you, and them.
  22. I'd worry at 9, but would feel more comfortable in the teens. Yeah, that's why I brought this up. Didn't know about the character issues. good points. Guys, I am going to leave this open just for it a bit longer, but can somebody let me know how to lock my own thread? I don't want this thread tying up space here.
  23. @May Day 10 Good points and a good post. Thank you. I was there on opening day in 1988, May Day, and I was there last year. She is still the belle of the ball in the minors. Additionally, winning may be secondary, but somebody has to win and somebody is winning. I just know it is never the Bisons. Please keep in mind that while lauding Toronto we now are with an organization that has provided us with 6 straight non-playoff season, likely going on 7, and they haven't even fielded a winning record since 2014.
  24. ...or do you think there is potential, if cleared by the Bills' doctors, to get a special talent if you drop down a few spots (let's say the early to mid teens)?
