  1. Nice, Blitz buddy. A friend of mine texted me this morning before I saw this and the rumor going around was 5th...maybe not necessarily what they would take, but may be what is being offered.
  2. Of course the Bills wouldn’t be on this list. Why would anyone put a team on that list that had more than 30 million in cap space and whose starting TE caught 4 passes last year?
  3. End zone field level box suites? edit: just looked at photos of these in a couple of stadiums around the league. Never noticed this was a thing.
  4. I played against his son in high school. The one who I believe went to Michigan, I think, and then went pro briefly. ...he was better than me.
  5. Hap, they did mention on WGR that they could exercise the option and they are only bound if he gets hurt. If he finishes the season they can just cut him without consequences. That said I am with you. Plus, if he wants it let him prove he is worth it, either to the Bills or the open market at seasons end.
  6. ...and man-o-man, Huds, if you ever come across what former players thought of Hank Bullough. Whew...the great combination of being unsuccessful and not well liked.
  7. Well said, NHK, one caveat, but someone I don't want to put on the list is harvey johnson. A long time Bills employee who was interim coach twice and had a career mark of 2-23-1. Circumstances a little beyond his control. However, his first stint helped get us OJ.
  8. Yeah, that was for joke purposes more so on my end, dneveu. You are pretty spot on with the above. And they are keeping Shaq around, but this is sort of "keep moving in the right direction" last year of the deal thing.
  9. Well...when you actually put it in writing and force me to think about it...yes, I get queasy. Please don't think you've accomplished something today, Doc. I've been queasy over this team before.
  10. I know I am in the minority opinion here, but I really think these four guys (Shady, Gore, Yeldon and Singletary) can help us win this year, and I put winning, even in small percentage increases, over draft picks. I will also make the point that I've made here before and I will likely make here again: however bad you thought the offensive line was last year and however much talking heads try to tell us it wasn't all bad STOP...because it was way worse than even the numbers indicated, man to a man, and it truly was all bad, and for a couple of cherries on top Peterman and Anderson were the starting (and finishing in one instance) QBs in 6 games last year when our early-season-green-but-better-later-rookie QB wasn't playing. EDIT: My apologies, it was 5 games. There was the one game by Barkley. The point? Shady is still good. He is a work out nut, and even if he has lost a step, and I am not sure that he has, he is still a dynamic weapon on this offense and still a potential HoF. Above and beyond that all of them have their individual attributes (Gore-tough N/S runner & FHoF; Yeldon-receiver, Singeltary-youth and a side step that appears awesome) that I believe exponentially makes the Bills a better team and maybe a truly special backfield. Oh, and so...I don't want to trade one of our backs. One more thing, I feel very bad for Isaiah Crowell and I hate when this happens to players around the league.
  11. Honestly, HUD, having watched him in person I like him, but there were times where it looked like he was honestly the 2nd or 3rd best receiver on the team. I know he had the best numbers, but I just liked some of what Osborn did better.
  12. Yep, Eps. Again, as a result of the article after the season I truly believe that Dawkins has learned his lesson. He took for granted his role as a pro and thought he could just show up. He is immensely talented and can do better and has expressed his desire to do better.
  13. Eloquent as ever, buddy. You aim too high here at the TSW. Throw in the occasional "gotcha", "gonnas" and "I seen it" to not stick out around here as much.
  14. Nice! Cheer loudly, eball!!!
  15. eball, I'm sorry I can't help you. I'm just replying because it is frustrating as we had an unbroken chain from 1960-2008. No more.
  16. So, if they go 9-7 in back to back years, a winning record in 3 of 4 years, and an overall winning record over 4 years (33-31) as a staff in Bills history for the first time in 20 years they should get the boot? Sounds old time Billy’s to do.
  17. This has to be number 1, and after everything that has gone on doesn’t he have to be impressed with what this organization has done and want to be a part of it as long the money is there?
  18. He bet $5,000 on the Vikes to cover against the Bills and people found out about it.
  19. MJS, as someone who watched UB and assessing your point, Tyree had great receivers, two great RBs and a great offensive line for the MAC. If you consider the graduations taking place for UB this is the reason why he tried to transfer or, as ended up finally, he declared for the draft...the same team was not coming back and he figured he’d strike while the iron is hot.
  20. Watched the highlight video...man, the kid does have some nice hands.

  22. I know nothing about him. Please can someone lie about their knowledge of him?
  23. Happy, I hear you, buddy...but, please I just want to refocus on the fact and my point that I don’t think that means a Shady is done.
  24. DAYMAN, I NEED AUGUST HERE RIGHT NOW! ?
  25. One thing I can tell you for sure is that fans will rally behind the very likeable and affable inexperienced Rosen and have trouble wrapping their arms around the prickly and veteran Fitzpatrick. Yup...it’s silly when you actually read it or say it out loud, isn’t it?
