  1. Man, there is one thing that sticks out to me: If your name doesn't rhyme with Savoy, Tore, Feldon or Bingletary you may not make this team at RB.
  2. Wouldn't mind seeing him cap it off by kissing and then raising the Lombardi Trophy after the 2021 Super Bowl. ...but the 2020 Super Bowl would be fine, as well!
  3. I wanted to be one of the guys who puts information up early in a thread (yes, I have @YoloinOhio envy!). I might have been the 2nd or 3rd guy in on the Sweeney thread and I grabbed the first link I found and put it up. ...THEN I looked at the video that was in the article in the link and I was a little bit stunned. I mean...the kid had hands in this video...nice hands. Sure, less of a body of work, but it was nicer "whoa!" video than some of the WRs drafted earlier than him. In my rush to be early on a guy I knew NOTHING ABOUT I accidentally stumbled across what makes this kid a late round gem. Please, TSW, if you haven't by now go and watch some video on this kid. It will make you like him and like and appreciate our drafting room even more.
  4. Please can we have a miracle? Please?
  5. I have before, did again right now at your behest, and will do so again in the future for Pancho in the hopes that he will come home.
  6. Isn't he a spy with people after him? I thought he was a spy with people after him. He should be a spy, with people after him.
  7. The only other way we don’t get to 7 wins is if we cut Isiah MacKenzie and the cap hit is $56 million.
  8. Man, I could take 16 of those from everybody that day, WMD. What a pleasure being there and sending the 2018 season out with hope for 2019.
  9. Rob, I mean no disrespect, but don't you think you are being a little obtuse? It's important to understand that when you are a rookie QB on a bad football team, going from one bad football team to another bad football team is all that is necessary to make you look good, especially when you had nothing to do with the bad football team being a bad football team other than being the bad football team's starter for 13 games at the most crucial position in sports. My apologies if I was a little hard on you.
  10. Blovian ties don't make the grade with the torque. What are "two sentences that don't make any sense" for 400, Alex.
  11. Kelly, the back of my head is now on the floor. I am 2/3rds of the way through my life...probably 4/5th as I need to lose some wait, but it is never too late learn something. Awesome, buddy.
  12. He we was friends with my father who never said a bad word about. I remember as kid when we are a trip going to his office, meeting him and how nice he was and he gave us tickets to go see The Wiz. I was too young to be overly impressed that it was his congressional office near the capitol, which we then also toured. ...yeah, I have a feeling the stories in this thread are just going to keep rolling in about him. isn’t that nice?
  13. Nuch, just joined the club recently. ...and I write what I feel...not what I do.?
  14. Eeesh...unfortunately I'm right there with ya!
  15. HUDS, no lie brother, I loved Hagar the Horrible, and a number of others. Seriously, though, Prince Valiant would give you three panels that if it were us today would look like this: HUDS: "You know what is great." D2D: "No, what?" HUDS: "Well, if you look at the Bills draft..." And that's all until tomorrow, folks, until the next strip of HUD 'NUTS! It would take weeks just to get a scene out.
  16. Years down the road and I have yet to get tired of the Kimmel/Damon feud.
  17. A real man tells his own bladder to mind its own freaking business and that he'll visit the porcelain challice when he is good and ready.
  18. Is it my imagination or did it really seem like this year over other years that a lot of teams did fairly well in helping themselves? Oh, and NTBAH, but if the Bills traded up to 5 or 6 to get Oliver I would have been fine. If they traded back into the first round to get Ford I would have been fine. They had to do neither, other than moving up a couple for Ford...I am...pleased.
  19. I know, right Promo? It really makes it OK. OOOHHHHHH MAN, I wanted Oliver. Liked about 5, but Oliver was tops, without necessarily crazily trading up.
  20. I hate you 716, and I love you at the same time. I told this (Charles Clay drop) to a friend of mine the day after the first round, but you had the good sense to post it. Bravo, Sir!
  21. Guys, not trying to hijack this thread, but I need some help. With the two passes Benjamin caught in his KC career with Mahommes was one of them for 17 yards and the other one for 9, or was it it the other way around?
  22. Annoyingly correct, DB. dang, I wanted this guy.
  23. Alpha, you absolutely did not say that, you are right. Additionally, I thought very well of your points the first time around, too. Man, seriously, this is going to be exciting how this plays out. I am torn. I truly want what's best for the team...but I never mind being right in threads! And, seriously, I think the kid has shown growth and he will continue to do so. We'll see, and the reason why it is going to be so good (I hope) is that it will not be a process of elimination but rather quality competition. Go Bills!
  24. However, the thing is Andre Holmes did catch 50 (actually 47) passes for almost 700 yards in 2014 with the Raiders, and continued being a Raider for another 2 years, which is part of the point of this thread. Additionally, it is my understanding that Cole Beasley is a slot receiver, my apologies if I am wrong. I therefore am not sure Cole is going to take reps from the #2 wide out, although he might. If the Bills let Zay go, all you guys are right. For some of us, it isn't that we love Zay so much, we just realize that a guy who put up those numbers last year, and who also led the team, albeit meekly with 27 receptions the year before as a rookie, and who is a second round pick of this coach, who is liked by the coaching staff and played more downs at an offensive skill position than any other Bill last year is going to be so unseeded right of the roster by the crew coming in just doesn't seem very plausible. I will say this...if the better of him is on the roster, fine, good luck to him. I'm just not sure the numbers are there on this roster as constituted to put him in likely the 7th spot and on the FA market.
  25. True and agree to the three of you. In a tragic offensive year (which Zay, yes, was a part of, but I think a small part due to some drops) I honestly can't wrap my head around the desire of many to run this guy out on a rail after he caught 61 passes for 7 TDs to lead the team, in his second year, after being drafted to be...wait for it...a number 2 receiver and is costing this team about a million dollars a year. Edit: and according Carp the Bills love him and he saw the field for 95% of the offensive snaps last year. Whose dog did this man kick?!
