Bills sign OT Jarron Jones

Just plain Line of The Day contender. -
What non-QB injury would hurt the Bills the most?
dollars 2 donuts replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely no lie...this. Man, we are already seeing it directly in camp. This stinks. Please get better soon M&M. EDIT: @LBSeeBallLBGetBall and, LB, I know I am being master of the obvious, but holy cow Bodine almost isn't even in the same league. -
Ya know, Yolo, and I know I am sort of stating the obvious here, but given Jerrah's comments over the weekend (or rather his son's, maybe) about not wanting to "set the market" with Zeke we truly do live in a football world (as we have for a number of years now) where RBs are important, but they are not demonstrative for teams' success and as such are just not going to be paid like they were. Meaning? Give me an offensive line that averages over 6 million dollars for five guys (just as a mark of talent, per se) and then let me have a 2-4 million RB to play behind them. ...maybe even 2 RBs for a total of 4 million and a half million dollar rookie. Interesting conversation about part of this when Sal was on with Howard and Jeremy.

JESSICA PEGULA WINS CITI OPEN
dollars 2 donuts replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Look, I know she doesn't need the money. However, earning her first championship and winning $43,000 in her chosen vocation...that's pretty sweet. -
That blows. Sorry, man. Man, somebody has got to give us a heads up on this. I’ve had people over for the last 4 years now on opening day and, as situated, it really is not convenient to run an antenna. 75” tv, with the center of it about 9 feet off the ground and 10-12 feet away from a window and pretty damn tricky to try and suspend a line.

I miss those days. 2k...blitz...989...and Madden...seriously, even after all these years the exclusive deal stinks and although people blame EA it was actually the nfl that wanted. it hasn’t helped their league at all. Congrats on saving time on scanning players images.

Big C, I know they say that and I know we back them up on it, but I honestly can see it where the Bills are 6-2 in real life, maybe 2nd or 3rd in the conference and their preseason rating of 77 surging all the way up...to 80. That’s the problem. It makes it a difficult purchase for the casual player, and I know we can adjust the ratings, even a bit in franchise, but still. 2 things I’ve wanted for years and know we won’t get: 1. A simple, straight forward franchise where you can play the 2019 season, over and over again without jumping through hoops, and 2. Full user controlled and adjustable view of the field, with ball tracking on passes, like 2k did so well all those years ago. That’s not a “madden vs 2k” thing, rather a just plain “steal the good idea already” thing.

The Bills playoff game no one remembers
dollars 2 donuts replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Promo, I also believe that if you factor in the Jets "phantom" TD in a game where what's his face never crossed the goal line that the Bills might have been able to win the Division: Final Standings: Jets 12-4 Phins 10-6 Bills 10-6 Should have been: Bills 11-5 (8-4 in the AFC) Jets 11-5 Phins 10-6 EDIT: I take that back. We would have finished second I believe due to the Jets sweeping the Bills, even if the Jets had that additional loss. -
Jesse, I've watched Jackson for 3 years and although I believe he will end up on the practice squad this year (maybe, maybe not) I am looking forward to seeing him in the fourth quarter throwing to Sills and Duke Williams and handing off to Singletary...hopefully even passing to him, as well, to see what he can do through the air.
-
I can't believe how excited I am for all 4 quarters of all 4 preseason games this year. Guys who could end up being starters on other teams in 2019 may be playing for us well into the 4th quarter.

This is beautiful, HUDs. I mean I'm still chuckling. "Bert, I love this kid. He is just making all the right throws you want to see from a QB in a t-shirt and shorts! The throw he made without an o-line and d-line to the intern who fetches water was surely a sight to see!"

BBFS - 8 Wins sounds about right to me
dollars 2 donuts replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Screw you, Virg, on making complete and reasonable sense. ? Of course, JK, brother. I feel you...especially the apex of the feel being the 5-2 starts. Get me to 6-3 before I really start to believe, even though it is one more in each column. Too many memories of seeing 5-2, become 5-4 and then worse. Look, I've been saying it for awhile and I think a guy on NFL radio agreed with me, even though I am generally unknown to everyone, everywhere other than for being extremely thin and good looking*. That is I believe the floor for this team is 8-8. I think if Josh Allen makes no improvement whatsoever over last year, they are 8-8. After the debacle that was the first two games, if you remove the Patriots games (i know, I know, but just hang with me) this team was 6-6 and they were missing their rookie starting QB for 40% (1-3) of that time. I think that if nothing tragic happens this team is 9-7 and their drive and coaching (intangibles at this time) could get them higher to 10-6. However, I recently told a friend I'm feeling 11-5 in my bones. Go Bills! * This may be a lie. -
Hap, just wait for it. it is going to be the Colts all over again. The Pats last season with Brady will be about 11-5, 12-4. The next season without they will be even worse than what they should be. They will go from being AFC East Champs to literally being the worst team in the League, almost inexplicably, at 2-14. They will get the first pick and low and behold it won't just be a QB, but rather a generational type talent that is un-denied by all. Then, this rookie will...inexplicably...be just good enough to take the previous years 2-14 team to 13-3 and home field advantage all the way through the playoffs. ...they will be bad for one single season. I hate life.

Shady, please don't post misleading thread titles. Please change it to "Well...Baker Mayfield is a Moron".

Biggest Bills Madden Snub?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hmmm...I wonder who said that before? Man, B7, it’s like rain in Spring. Regardless of anything they’ve done or who they’ve signed slap the 77-78 and be done. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?

... ??? ... ? ... ??? F*** THEM, B716, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!! My apologies to the Board for my veiled profanity, but jeepers, come on! EDIT - honestly, I am still thinking it. This is going to bug me for the rest of the day. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, B7, really? Man, I thought the lowest in the League last year to start was a 73 or 72. Damn. FYI - for the uninitiated, it is not unusal for the Bills to start out at around a 77 or even 78. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, true. Hey 716, I always have problems finding this...didtey give an overall team ranking, or are they just teasing you with the players? It seems like that do that every year and i don't believe it is as simple as adding up the 53 ratings and dividing by 53. Man, I believe this will be about the umpteenth Madden in the umpteenth years where we are not at least an 80. -
Biggest Bills Madden Snub?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean...just...Matt Milano was an outstanding LB in this league at the time he got hurt. How is he not in the low 80s? This coming from someone who has played and followed Madden going back a couple of decades and then some. -
Thank you, football gods, for having the Broncos fans and management love Chubb. Nothing wrong with that and he is a great player, but we would still be in a bind if they had preferred Allen.
