  1. Promo, all the transfers as a result of Tyree turning pro when he was absolutely, positively not ready to turn pro wrecked what would have been an ok UB team. It is on him and he is making it ever more apparent by literally being the worst qb in the preseason. 7-6 and reasonable to good numbers would have got him drafted. Edit ...8-5 and I would guarantee him being drafted.
  2. I’ll be as soft on this as possible: Tyree Jackson should be cut and should not be signed to the practice. He is not special, there is not “something there” and he is not even worth the spot on the PT. Bring someone else in. This coming from a huge supporter of him at UB.
  3. ? I’m torn. Which will turn to greatly annoyed when Bates’ knee explodes tonight. X Plodes
  4. ESPN, 1992 is on the phone. They want to know what time you are coming back.
  5. Yes, they did get 2 picks next year. however, I just think this guy would have locked in to starting in 2020. instead he’ll be doing it in brown and white. we’ll have to sadly live with Beane typical 5th and 6th round quality. like Milano. ?
  6. I can't believe I can finally say this out loud and be accurate with it: Miami is where hope goes to die.
  7. I know it is not important, but I really, really, really want to go 4-0 this preseason. If I may quote the Principal from that 80s classic teen movie, Three O'Clock High, from the climactic fight scene: "DON'T **** THIS UP, MITCHELL!"
  8. Doc, seriously man, I loved him last year, but it was one game. After all the time he has been in this league and figuring things out and what we saw this preseason I can comfortable say he is one of the best back ups (what does that mean? top 2-4 maybe) in the League. That doesn't mean I think he should definitely be starting someplace, just that what his job is and what he is here for is superlative to others in this league. Man-o-man it feels like a nice warm blanket, especially after last year's start of here's some sandpaper for your face and a wad of tin foil to chew on.
  9. My personal opinion is Jackson starting this week speaks more of what they think about Barkley and wanting to keep him safe than "let's really get a good look at the kid this Thursday and give him some valuable experience."
  10. We've seen it so many times and you do feel so bad for the last guys to make the team. Saturday, 5 PM: "Yeah, I made an NFL team! My dreams are coming true." Sunday, 3 PM: "I'm cut at WR because you found a LB you really like?"
  11. Of course the Bills should be worried, the Jets are strong on both sides of the ball, have a great RB with an outstanding 2018 track record, a brilliant coach(es) and have been injury free during the preseason, said one Jets fan on crack.
  12. I’m sorry, I thought you were someone else. My bad. ?? jk, brother. Good points. I disagree with the market, but good points.
  13. Yolo, just out of the blue to you and it is not to put you on the spot. I am just asking a direct question to someone I respect: do you really think this is 15 or so sack terror or do you think he’ll be some pressure and 10 sacks a year...for 20 plus million?
  14. Please can we keep in mind that there are really living, walking and talking actual human beings on this planet that consider the Dolphins better than the Bills this year. They are called morons, but they are still people and should still be in your thoughts and prayers.
  15. Stop it...or while you are at it, please consider thick sliced summer smoked beef stick, with your choice of cheese, between two thick cuts slices of fresh Italian bread.
  16. ...AND, that is a tremendous point. Beane always said he would ask his guys to keep him from falling in love with a player. I just hope that they are rationalizing this now. ...they loved and had to have Kelvin Benjamin.
  17. OK...well...that only made it worse for me. Now I have another thing to think about. Seriously, brother, that sounds so good.
  18. YOLO, that's the thing though, and honestly...is he an elite passer rusher? He appears good and plays with one of the greats on a great defense, but is he truly worth all the scratch or is a 20 million dollars per year, less than 10 sack average guy?
  19. I love you...but I can't give you a thumbs up...I just can't. I know it is healthier, but... I just can't.
  20. Royale, I am not kidding, I cannot get a delicious grilled cheese sandwich with a bowl of creamy tomato soup, soup spiced with pepper and hot sauce, out of my head right now and it is driving me crazy. Crazy.
  21. However, I still think Clowney is a good player, just not that good, or rather not worth the money. Some of you guys don't actually put the butter on the bread before you grill the cheese, do you? Gotta get it in the skillet and go from there. Just be sure to flip before it scorches, but leave some room to still put down more butter. That's the ticket.
  22. We need 4-5 more guys in the next draft ( may be another couple of reasonably priced FAs) to set this team up with a nice group going forward for the next 6-8 years, and we need cash to pay those guys. I love the course this team is on and I am fine with sticking to it.
  23. You are asking good questions, but tough ones, too. It annoys and scares me, and I would just assume go to my happy place until this is all over. However, if forced to say, I think all your points are rock solid. Other than the fact that I really don't want to lose Teller and if we cut him, he is gone. No one is going to let that guy sit out there. Just because we are resplendent with line talent now, doesn't mean the rest of the league is. I believe by next year he will be one of our starting Guards, and not a back up swing guy...no insult to Bates. Please, if we could keep them both.
  24. Given how well they have drafted, how well this team is put together, and what great shape our salary cap is in I fully expect us to contend this year, but I believe 4-5 of our picks in the 2020 draft are just going to solidify this teams future. I don’t want to lose that because it is not cliche to say you build through the draft.
