  1. Here's stats I like a lot: Josh Allen is 7-6 as a starter for the Buffalo Bills. 7-5 in games that he has started and finished. One I particularly like...he is 5-3 since coming back from injury last season. Another one: of QBs drafted last year he and Jackson are the only two with winning records...obviously that includes the two QBs who were drafted in front of them, Mayfield and Darnold.
  2. @YoloinOhio Jeremy White: (paraphrasing) Allen is better in yards per attempt, but the league as a whole is better, so... JW is not ripping Allen, at all. Actually, he generally approves of his play. However, guys, I am tired of this. I truly am and I don't know about the rest of you. I am tired of this day and age where we over analyze a player to utter and complete death...he's doing better, but everybody is doing better. He looked good, but look who he played against. He's using less toilet paper plies when he wipes, but other QBs are using even less. He played well (again) and we won...again. I don't know how he is going to play in the future or even next week, but I am encouraged. I don't need to bury myself in the analytics of it because...well, either I am just too damn old or, what the hell...maybe just because of "any given Sunday", ya know? Go Bills...and fans of the Buffalo Bills...enjoy yourselves, because I don't want to see you sadly climb to the top of a mountain, sit down, and try and figure out why birds s*** and why and how Josh Allen is doing as a QB by pouring over the data and trying to project from there. EDIT: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it." - Ferris Bueller- Thank you, Ferris. Thank you. ...and hey, get better soon.
  3. So the Waddle loss was big? honestly asking.
  4. Honestly, Stank, there is no hyperbole in my comments about my friends...no win was satisfactory enough for them that year, and they would not buy in. Life long bills fans who had felt duped in the past. i didn’t intentionally rub it in but I told them right after the game between the bengals and a Ravens the drought ended and you missed it entirely, especially over the last few weeks. You woke up after the credits were rolling and someone told you what happened.
  5. At some point some people are going to have to stop being upset that this team isn’t Kansas City or before they know it the season will be half over and they will have missed the enjoyment of a pretty good team. 2017 was not great, but it was so much fun, and the streak ended and I still had friends who were reluctant to get on the band wagon...during playoff week. Seriously, they missed a pretty good season because they just wouldn’t believe.
  6. They have that super bowl victory thing down...excuse the expression...pat.
  7. All time sack leader at 200 or so, but can we also remember please that he was damn good against the run. i love you Reggie White, but you played in a 4-3 your entire career, but Bruce played in a 3-4 which I believe is tougher from a sack stand point, and no one can tell me otherwise...until...you know...someone tells me otherwise.
  8. So much this...almost nobody wins down four turnovers (ignore our recovery after the final whistle), and yet they won and almost nobody KEEPS turning the ball over four times. We were here on the road against an opponent that (unfathomably) was rated better than us by more than half the country/talking heads out there. Quite frankly it is a week later and some of this fan base needs to get over whining about this victory. Additionally, if you are waiting around for this team to have the KC offense stop doing that to yourself. We can be good, but we can’t be that good. It’s all ok because it can be a good offense, and half the time we also have that defense.
  9. I also believe he was league MVP that year...which is kind of a neat thing to have on your resume.
  10. Ha! My wife wanted out until she read the fine print "no trade" clause. ...and I am going to exercise my unlimited Franchise Tag until my last breath! Royale, my goodness!!
  11. Enough of the wrinkles now, offense. Straighten yourself out and put up an honest 35 this weekend and don’t let any of this be a factor.
  12. Every once in awhile a post comes along on the stadium wall that makes you put your internet device of choice down, look up, tilt your head slightly and say out loud, “Yeah....(nod)...yeah.”
  13. 37 yard great return by Ray-Ray.
  14. Out...freaking...standing! Proud of this organization and those women. For crying out loud, the woman from England's name is Jo Clubb. Perfect team player!
  15. Translation: Man...eball...just does NOT like the Jets. They really are turning into the sadness factory and I take great comfort in knowing that so many people out there had the Jets, unbelievably, ranked higher than us.
  16. Just so I am hoping a lot of us are on the same page, our defense was typically great, but Allen did lead them back from 16-0 in the third, and 11 points in the fourth and did score two TDs in the fourth, through the air and with his feet, with the pass being for more than 30 yards... So, in my personally opinion I don't view this like some of the nationals do that they won "in spite of Allen"...no...Allen was very much a part of why they won. It would have been nice not to have the turnovers have the game be a 31-8 score, but still.
  17. Bobby, look, I am hoping for a Bills win, too. However, I am just not anticipating a slaughter to the degree that we see Matt in the third or fourth quarter, but it would be nice.
  18. I don't get it, teef. Seriously, I just don't. Maybe I am just old and maybe just from being a parent, but life is just so damn precious. it's ridiculous to lose any of us over avoidable situations.
  19. This is not to take attention away from both subjects, drunk driving and texting, as they are both terribly dangerous. However, throw on top of that those of us that know what it is like to drive on the 90 around Cleveland (went to school in Akron in the 90s)...man, it is dangerous even without any distractions...let alone being on the road itself outside of a car.
  20. "Smith and Cordero recently celebrated the birth of their daughter, Haven Harris Smith. Smith was excused from the Browns-Colts preseason game so that he was able to attend the birth." Dear Goodness.
  21. Guys, Alpha is a really good poster around here. Absolutely just my opinion, but maybe we don’t jump on one of our own for giving a thoughtful opinion he believes in and wasn’t trying to BS anybody with it. It didn’t happen the way he thought, but this doesn’t seem like something he should have to parade out and defend himself due to attacks every time Zay makes a catch. I jokingly commented about something with him a couple of days ago because I like Alpha and I now regret it considering the guy has to stick up for himself with all this. I hope Zay does well, too, Alpha just like you do and I do think you make salient critical points on his play. Again, just my opinion.
  22. All hail my fellow Summer of '69 brother! Congrats.
  23. WE ARE MOSTLY AMERICANS HERE, LOGIC! WE DON'T NEED TO READ NO STINKING REPORTS BEFORE WE PASS JUDGMENT ON ANYTHING. WE'LL JUST EXPRESS OUR OPINIONS FREELY BASED UPON LIMITED INFORMATION, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Fully agree, my friend.
  24. No. Not being coy, I just truly believe they won't, even if this ramps up a bit.
