  1. This...and even though we have supporters on NFL Network, after the MNF game last night they finally got around to talking about the Bills (really didn't see anything mentioned other than the score/win until after midnight, two days after the game) and they kind of laughed off the Bills. Robertson still is a big supporter, but he doesn't think they win this game. ...and I know the Patriots are really, really good, but I do so hate when they bring up the stat of the Bills opponents are 1-8...all the while the Pats are 0-9. I don't mind anyone picking the Pats...I mind that, at 3-0, the Bills are still sort of a joke, especially this weekend. EDIT: Out of curiosity ask yourself something...if a team like, let's say the Bengals were 3-0 and not 0-3 and they were playing the Pats in week 4 do you think they would get mocked leading up to the game, or rather mocked with such ease? What if the beloved Browns were home against the Pats right now, at 1-2...would there be the easy smiles, as well?
  2. Why the F couldn’t it have just been a bad spra8n, dammit. Out 4-6 weeks and then ease back in. f’n acl injuries. I never cheer this even with teams I hate...darn it.
  3. Honestly this is terrible. He was up and coming and a young inspirational leader. Please excuse me (again) while I start swearing a whole lot...the more gentile of our board please feel free to cover your screens while I curse.
  4. Ganesh, he did all 256 games, but he did not break them out each week in what he provided on the radio or on his twitter. Just the final record.
  5. Dave man, yes, and honestly...one...if he hits just one of those, TD or not it gives Defensive Coordinators pause going forward. dammit, why hasn't he hit one...oh sure, on THOSE passes he's so worried about not throwing a pick! ?
  6. On pace for about 113 or so grabs right now. How many receptions did our top two WRs have last year? Less than 100, combined?
  7. Jeepers, Doc, why wasn't I thinking about Angry Runs after that play! I love that segment. You are so right.
  8. For those of you who insist they are not taking their foot off the gas, fine. However, they obviously do need to do something different out of the gate in the third quarter. Reed, the funny thing is Josh Allen is more competent this year than he was in 2018. However, with this new and improved "Not so much deep ball and less broken play rushes QB" there is a predict-ability inherent in what they are doing. I am noticing more guys in the box on D because they are less worried about 20+ yard pass plays or JA escaping and more about medium range passing and, a great back in Gore, but someone who is not going to break loose like Shady would. Again, He is better and the Bills are better on offense and sometimes they overcome good defensive play...but unless it is their cute little end around they are seemingly predictable to opponents D.
  9. Well...we do have Yeldon.
  10. I know they are not the same teams, but I am telling you I have been on board with this for awhile and if he can just stay healthy for the rest of the year (moderate sized "if") THIS is like adding Lofton.
  11. You're mistaken, eball. They are a Super Bowl contender and they have the best QB in the draft from last year. Start reading the national media or miss out. It's your funeral.
  12. JW, honestly...HONESTLY, before the season starts when you know all the things that went wrong last year and then how they started to go right and then knowing that the 7th overall pick had a year under his belt, and knowing they made about 10+ moves to guys who were easily and obviously better than what they had, HOW with a straight face can Murray and the others go... Yeah, same team. Same team as last year. ???
  13. Absolutely agree, S Dubs, but this was before we had Allen. Man, additionally he needs a line. Big advantage for him: Hopkins.
  14. Tell that to NFL Radio's Bruce Murray who had them at 6-10 after going through every game for every team in the NFL. BTW, Winslow, did you know that the jets picked up Bell and Mosley this off season? They should be good.
  15. Yeah, no one from Chicago or the other QB needy teams at the time raises their hand and says, "hi." According to the nationals we are the only pathetic "Billsy" team that missed that opportunity. "Pathetic loser Bills and their fans! One of the worst teams in the NFL! How can they live with their 42-42 record over the last six years...wait, what?" Sorry if slightly off topic, but it bugs me, too. Even though I wanted Mahomes.
  16. I love Allen and i have been behind the kid since they drafted him. However, I wanted both Watson and Mahomes...not hind sight, just being honest. I thought Mahomes was a piece of Clay that you could shape being into great. Who knew that when you took the wet towel off he was already the statute of David?! GO Bills and Go Allen!!
  17. Wow...week 3 and someone around the country realized the Bills made off season moves to improve themselves? Damn, it would have helped on some of these national prognostications for the season if they had only known that. I don't want to poo-poo on the article, but are these guys also aware that the Jets, with their stud and unstoppable QB Sam Darnold, picked up Bell and Mosley in the offeason? Shame on them if they didn't take that into consideration.
  18. And Cage even if they say they are not taking their foot off the gas, fine, but they have to do something different...a new wrinkle when you hit the third quarter, because EVERY team has been ready for them in the third, except when Mosley went out.
  19. It is the first time Josh Allen has been 2 games over .500 in his career (8-6) and the first time he has tied Baker Mayfield in career victories...well, since week 3 last year. ? He also has a higher winning percentage than Baker (8-9), but heck, that is old news!
  20. I joked with with a friend that Allen would have 180 yards at halftime and 193 for the game. Truth is this is not a good trend...meaning this trend of getting 70+ percent or so of your passing yards in the first half (not accurate percentage and I didn’t check it, it just seems that way). If the bills are up by a lot and trying to clock manage I would get it, but I wouldn’t like it. However, being up by a lot has not been the case. Yes, McD, it is hard to win in this League, I get it. However, I still don’t like the way you guys handle yourselves offensively when you have an opportunity to put a team away. Winning is winning. Winning ugly is 9-7, with three field goals. This team for me today was winning sour...they dominated the Bengals at times, but couldn’t get any real distance on them and then went to sleep as well as were too cute by half in some instances and it almost cost them. It’s slightly a question of passing, but more so whether you’re trying to attack a team and go for the jugular. I don’t care what McD says, because this team DOES take its foot off the gas and it is going to get them in trouble in games where we end up going, “damn they should have had that one.” It’s those games that cost you the playoffs, not the games where you count on them to beat the Patriots. We were 0-2 against the Pats in the 2017 playoff year, but we had to sweat it out after the Miami finale because we couldn’t beat a very beatable bengals team in week 5, because...damn, they should have had that one. No matter what, though, I’ll take the 3-0 and I will especially take a 1 and 2 WR tandem that has 35 receptions through 3 games...that’s one of my takeaways. Go Bills!
  21. I wouldn’t pick Mariotta over Josh, but I get it stat wise, but Cousins...come on now, boys, where are you coming from with this? Less than half the rushing yards, 180 or so less passing yards, and about 20% lower completion percentage. ...seriously?
  22. It’s called The Super Mighty Pack —- it is about $10 and I do some nice human growth after one of those...and nachos.
  23. Respectfully, Ned, I do see your point, but I agree with Logic on this and frankly I’m tired of hearing/reading and seeing this. ”Oh, they’ve won some games, but until they beat the Patriots...” ”Yeah, but don’t get too excited, let’s see how they do against New England.” Look, everybody has to beat the Patriots and few teams do. I’m tired of us being thrown over the judgment pit based upon beating the Patriots before we can be ALLOWED to enjoy our team’s success. F that. While we are at it the “not picking Mahomes” thing is worn out, too. Our franchise is currently well built, our 2nd year QB is 5-3 in his last 8 career starts and we are laughed at for passing on Mahomes, like we were the only team that didn’t pick him. Given the way the Bears are currently built why doesn’t anyone chastise them for not picking Mahomes? How many of you think Trabisky is better? Don’t tell me this is conspiracy theory rantings, it’s pathetic the way this team is treated and viewed.
  24. Not thrilled at our guy who averages 63.5 yards on 5 carries per game is out in only his 3rd career game, but we’ll see.
