  1. They have to at least split...Lord have mercy they have to at least split...I don't know.
  2. That is the reason why I don’t run...anywhere...ever...not even at the gym.
  3. Please let Singletary be back. yes, we lose to the patriots almost all the time. I just want to be at full strength this time if it happens again.
  4. Pink shirt: “I went to the dolphins game and I got a fat lip.” his mom: “Don’t worry, son, they’ll get better soon enough.” pink shirt: “No mom...I mean seriously.”
  5. They are so bad I am starting not to take any joy in it. ”Starting”...didn’t say finished. ?
  6. Jimmy...get. it. out. of the way and start 3-0 on the road and let every other road game be gravy on top. That would be a sweet scenario and I am with you, my friend, on that. I hope it happens.
  7. I don't care about getting shot for this, HUDS, but for you...I'll do anything. ...10-2 in the last 12, including preseason.
  8. The most important thing out of this whole post...happy Birthday, brother!! ✌️
  9. I have never put the Bills and the Patriots in the same conversation, because that is just plain an exercise in frustration...that's a dog that doesn't hunt. That's what some of my friends are waiting around for...and waiting...and waiting. For me, I'll take the joy and yes, euphoria, of generally well played games and wins, week to week, than trying to figure out where they place or how they compare to the Patriots.
  10. Oh, I didn't doubt you at all, brother. Just was thinking you'd put it up. ...and I like your prediction better than mine. Not to tie you up, but what is your thinking, home and away record? Forgive me if it is over on the prediction thread, but I am just asking. I'd love to think the Steelers may really be beatable.
  11. Thank you, my friend. and...seriously, "Look it up."?
  12. Come on, iin, you can't say that and then not give it! I had us, barring anything crazy happening, at 10-6. EDIT: damn, I am just not sure where that other road win is coming from. I don't know about going 7-1 at home, where 3 road wins would be OK. I still think the path, right now, is 6-2, and 4-4. ...and no, this is not analytics and I didn't mean to beat up on those people, its just that I am a bit fatigued over it. This is good ole fashion, wins losses, offense and defense talk, just like our dads used to do!
  13. and you know what the funny thing is, EOBF, I love how no one views that as coming back and winning the game...it's only that the Jets lost it. They had 4 turn overs, how did they lose it? Oh yeah, because that wasn't enough against our D, and our offense then outscored them. and btw, to Everybody Else, we won that game in the second half because of our D AND BECAUSE of Josh Allen, not in spite of him. DC, honestly, it is a good point. However, those games were on the road. We were 2-6 on the road last year. We already have two wins this year on the road and i will take that. Throw in Miami (honestly, go ahead) and we will have 3. I think we need just 1 more to make this season work out the way some of us hope. BTW, did you like those victories any less because they were against the Jets and Giants?
  14. Everybody Else: "The Bills will get their due when they start to win." Some of us: "Yeah, we are winning...we were winning at the end of last year, but we are 2-0 right now." Everybody Else: "Well...who have you beat, though?" Some of us: "We beat that one team that you ALL thought was better then us..in their house. Then we beat the team with a 2 time Super Bowl Champion at the helm, who has never lost to us, and a RB that you guys literally cream yourselves over...on the road." Everybody Else: "you have no offense, though, and this is an offensive and passing league." Some of us: 'We have the 9th overall offense in this league, and we are 15th in passing yards. We are top ten in Offense and Defense." Everybody Else: "...?...Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!" Some of us: "What?!"
  15. Here's stats I like a lot: Josh Allen is 7-6 as a starter for the Buffalo Bills. 7-5 in games that he has started and finished. One I particularly like...he is 5-3 since coming back from injury last season. Another one: of QBs drafted last year he and Jackson are the only two with winning records...obviously that includes the two QBs who were drafted in front of them, Mayfield and Darnold.
  16. @YoloinOhio Jeremy White: (paraphrasing) Allen is better in yards per attempt, but the league as a whole is better, so... JW is not ripping Allen, at all. Actually, he generally approves of his play. However, guys, I am tired of this. I truly am and I don't know about the rest of you. I am tired of this day and age where we over analyze a player to utter and complete death...he's doing better, but everybody is doing better. He looked good, but look who he played against. He's using less toilet paper plies when he wipes, but other QBs are using even less. He played well (again) and we won...again. I don't know how he is going to play in the future or even next week, but I am encouraged. I don't need to bury myself in the analytics of it because...well, either I am just too damn old or, what the hell...maybe just because of "any given Sunday", ya know? Go Bills...and fans of the Buffalo Bills...enjoy yourselves, because I don't want to see you sadly climb to the top of a mountain, sit down, and try and figure out why birds s*** and why and how Josh Allen is doing as a QB by pouring over the data and trying to project from there. EDIT: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it." - Ferris Bueller- Thank you, Ferris. Thank you. ...and hey, get better soon.
  17. So the Waddle loss was big? honestly asking.
  18. Honestly, Stank, there is no hyperbole in my comments about my friends...no win was satisfactory enough for them that year, and they would not buy in. Life long bills fans who had felt duped in the past. i didn’t intentionally rub it in but I told them right after the game between the bengals and a Ravens the drought ended and you missed it entirely, especially over the last few weeks. You woke up after the credits were rolling and someone told you what happened.
  19. At some point some people are going to have to stop being upset that this team isn’t Kansas City or before they know it the season will be half over and they will have missed the enjoyment of a pretty good team. 2017 was not great, but it was so much fun, and the streak ended and I still had friends who were reluctant to get on the band wagon...during playoff week. Seriously, they missed a pretty good season because they just wouldn’t believe.
  20. They have that super bowl victory thing down...excuse the expression...pat.
  21. All time sack leader at 200 or so, but can we also remember please that he was damn good against the run. i love you Reggie White, but you played in a 4-3 your entire career, but Bruce played in a 3-4 which I believe is tougher from a sack stand point, and no one can tell me otherwise...until...you know...someone tells me otherwise.
  22. So much this...almost nobody wins down four turnovers (ignore our recovery after the final whistle), and yet they won and almost nobody KEEPS turning the ball over four times. We were here on the road against an opponent that (unfathomably) was rated better than us by more than half the country/talking heads out there. Quite frankly it is a week later and some of this fan base needs to get over whining about this victory. Additionally, if you are waiting around for this team to have the KC offense stop doing that to yourself. We can be good, but we can’t be that good. It’s all ok because it can be a good offense, and half the time we also have that defense.
  23. I also believe he was league MVP that year...which is kind of a neat thing to have on your resume.
  24. Ha! My wife wanted out until she read the fine print "no trade" clause. ...and I am going to exercise my unlimited Franchise Tag until my last breath! Royale, my goodness!!
  25. Enough of the wrinkles now, offense. Straighten yourself out and put up an honest 35 this weekend and don’t let any of this be a factor.
