Mel Kiper knew about Josh Allen
dollars 2 donuts replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Truer words may have been written, but I don’t know what those words are. seriously bad move by Elway not getting Jackson or Allen...not saying they’d be the same abs in Denver, but still. -
Schop said yesterday even with help the Bills can’t really catch the Pats, or something to that effect. However, if the Pats lose to either the Texans or the Chiefs and the Bills win out, wouldn’t the Bills and Pats both be 13-3, but the Bills would be 10-2 in the conference while the Pats would be 9-3? The division would be a tie at 5-1, but I thought they would go to afc record before point differential. Not an in-depth post here, but thoughts would be appreciated. Edit: we would also have home field advantage due to our win over the Ravens. GO BILLS!

Watching Good Morning Football...which I love. Question: are the Bills even playing today? We are literally only the backdrop for the Cowboys and their plans for righting the ship today. Switched to my daughter watching Arthur, the children’s character, holiday special. Please let me know when the pity story or comment comes. You know, the bone about a Bill that they sort of have to do just because. Stupid me. I always forget we commit the NFL sin of not being a power house offense.

Go on the record: The concern-o-meter!

What are you so upset about? It is essentially the same point spread between a 9-2 New Orleans team against a 3-8 Falcons team... ? ? -
Go on the record: The concern-o-meter!

Huds, you are, as always, correct (btw, thanks for the off board suggestion. I DO look good in lavender!). May I also put a little optimistic asterisks in there? I know this is the only game and i know it is on Thanksgiving, but I just don't get the prime time vibe as it is not in prime time. Who knows, may be something little like that...just the fact that it is a 4:30 game might help. However, I would just assume that they would be super motivated to prove themselves on the national stage. -
How did you feel waking up this morning?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like a kid, Royale. Honestly, like a kid in a candy store who happens to have been around for decade after decade. I will ride the joy of this season right now as much I can over this increasingly difficult schedule. Because right now we are not 9-6 going into week 17. We are not PO'd because the Pats embarrassed us at their place, and we aren't etc., etc. The Bills are 8-3 and the DIVISION IS STILL OUT THERE AND IF THE PATS STUB THEIR TOE AGAINST KC AND WE TAKE CARE OF ALL OF OUR BUSINESS FROM NOW UNTIL THEN WE ARE PLAYING FOR BOTH THE DIVISION LEAD AND HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE THROUGHOUT THE PLAYOFFS WHEN WE MEET THEM IN LATE DECEMBER. Years since we could say that this late in the season...and I feel just young enough nowadays to cheer for it. -
Through 11 games Allen has 15 passing TDs, to go with 7 rushing TDs. Not hard to figure out that if he keeps up this pace he'll finish with 32 total TDs. I believe the franchise record is 34 by Jim Kelly in 1991 (33 passing, 1 rushing). It is the only time Kelly did it. The thing is in checking this out it is the only time any Bills QB has been at 30 or over TDs. Unless I am missing something it hasn't ever happened, before or since. Even in Ferguson, Bledsoe and I think Fitzy years of 24 or so TD passes (there was a 25 in there, too), I don't believe any of them had 5-6 rushing TDs in a season to get to 30. I know this is just an individual player stat, and not necessarily a so sexy one as it includes rushing TDs, but still I just really found it kind of interesting. Even with some hick-ups he should really hit 30. On the other side of it I don't think it is crazy to think he has chance at possibly tying or even surpassing Kelly, albeit that would be a lot, but hey it would mean nice things for the way these last 5 games play out. Not bad for a second season. Go Allen, Go Bills!

Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30
dollars 2 donuts replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BB, BB seriously if I didn’t write what I wrote above that is what I was going to bring up. Dude, are you kidding me?! There is a little word we all like to call: try. Maybe test it out the next time this happens...like try and put your foot on the break before rolling out. tripping penalty was an utter joke. -
Don’t tell me, Kirby, that you don’t love it when the Bills pull off a major upset over a higher ranked team like they did today. It feels like we are finally getting our due. I sense a top 20 ranking in this team’s future. If not this week, then soon.

Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30

One day we will find a way to defeat our large go cart overlords. Until then we just have to remain vigilant. -
I didn’t read through this entire thread To see if any one posted this. although this regime was the one that cut him I remembering reading articles where McDermott and staff were quoted about being very impressed with his work ethic. it has been a tough road for him after his issues in college, but I like seeing that the kid got some years in, and some money out of, the nfl.

Although likely not mathematically a loss to the Bills essentially ends the Broncos season, all the while they get to swallow ash in playing out the five game remainder of their season. ...would love it if it were Allen they remember as the one who finished them off and made their late November and December utterly worthless.

Patriots OR Cowboys this Sunday.
dollars 2 donuts replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anything that keeps the division still in play AND takes some of the pressure off our next opponent is a good thing. It absolutely is the Cowboys all the way. Why do I have the feeling that he makes a nice recovery in time to place the Bills on Thursday? ? -

Walton RB, Mia Cut - Father of the year

The woman is carrying your child...your child... ...and she is a woman... ...who is pregnant with your baby. How can your hand go back and forth against her face...hard...or at all? She was probably screaming and crying, too, but I guess the fear in her voice and pain in her noises didn't do the trick for you. With my changes below... "The Dolphins are now likely in the market for a new lead running back starting in 2020. Widley Snipper-Bow has assumed that role in Walton's absence with little success, averaging just 1.9 yards per carry. Channing McDoodle Snack and Chester Chesterton have received limited reps behind Ballage. The trio, along with Gutteral Delancy, will carry the load for the rest of the season." It literally doesn't change the impact of the story, whatsoever. I know none of those backs, but at least my names are interesting.
