  1. Vontae Davis was saying the same thing, but he walked out of the interview. This just never gets old...until my comment above.
  2. I hate this move. I'm sorry, I just absolutely hate it. I'd rather investigate more on this during the bye week and see what we truly need and who we can go after instead of signing a RB just before we get our other RB to game play.
  3. 7 TSWs usually never agree, and not typically in a row. Get'er done. I'm sorry, I've checked all game film. Who is Kroft, again? EDIT: Please. my apologies a second time. I went back and looked at preseason game film, too. ...who is Kroft, again?
  4. Oh yeah, well I would have signed him when he walked out of the building. ...which also qualifies as "immediately". *darn it*
  5. It's why they need the replay rule on kicks, too. Some of those might actually have been good.
  6. Additionally, this is why you have to strike while the iron is hot becuase you don't know what next year holds. I actually could see a scenario where next year's Bills team is better than this years, but has a worse record and a more difficult rad to travel. Let's say 13-3 (i'm just saying) as opposed to 11-5. Miami and the Jets I believe will be better and some other teams will take steps forward. The Patriots are the Patriots, but if we are clearing the deck now and seeing what we have I say we load up while we got our guys and get a WR or pass rush specialists and make the push this year. One year's 13-3 Vikings could very well end up being the next years 8-7-1.
  7. And it is annoying, Trout. How many times do we have to tell our 40,000 Bills road fans, "Don't cheer when we have the ball!"? They better fix this before the Miami road game or this is going to be a problem.
  8. Oh, I've wasted my life. Or at least two and half minutes...it just seems like my whole life...no one is giving me those back at the end...nope, nope, nope.
  9. Tangential to this, and I know even this won't make good candidates with good opportunities (which Washington isn't) stay, is having very rich owners. I like it quite a bit. Very rich owners who don't have a problem making their HC, OCs and GM some of, if not the highest paid at their posts in the league to get them to stay. This, and paying for brand new state of the art training facilities that players and coaches appreciate. I am not saying they should...I am just saying it is a nice option. As opposed to (RIP Ralph, a great owner who kept the team here) Ralph Wilson telling us in a press conferences that he has to sell one of his paintings to keep one of his star players here.
  10. The Atlanta Falcons Proof that with even a great QB and a great WR, you can still stink. Don't worry, though, because of those two things those around and who follow this league will ALWAYS think you can turn it around, because...you know...POTENTIAL FANTASY POINTS MATTER!
  11. Ridiculous, Roy. ...I think you actually have to play for the Bills to be on this list.
  12. Talking Heads: "I mean I honestly just don't get the Bills...For crying out loud, their winning and yet they didn't even sign Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell or Odell Beckham Jr.?! Us: "Please go do something else for a living."
  13. And they will all be soooooo surprised, Atl. Talking Heads: "Whoa, where is this Bills team coming from?! I love this team, man...still think they maybe don't make the playoffs...so many good offenses in the league, but if they do get in, LOVE IT...but they lose in the first round." Us: "umm, yeah, they improved at 9 out of 11 positions on offense in the off season (didn't some of you know that? anyone? Beuller?) and their young QB had some games under his belt and the Left Tackle recommitted himself to the game...sooo, they actually improved at 11 positions. As far as for the rest of it please let us apologize now for committing the worst sin that you can commit in the NFL in 2019: we are not a good fantasy team. Again, we are sorry, we can't help but miss the days of 'you win with defense in this league' along with a competent offense, as opposed to today's 'the falcons are always going to be contenders with Julio and Ryan' as they sit at 1-4."
  14. ? Love it. Great points, Over. yeah, this didn't work out. I honestly wish it did. You don't like to miss on a second rounder. Great practice player and only OK, at best in games. I am also the guy when everyone was gushing over Foster's stats that agreed and listed Fosters stats and then said, "Oh wait, no, those are Zay's numbers", which were better than Fosters. Zay just could not get a fair shake for the longest time, but then his play started to look a little bit like he didn't deserve a fair shake. It is a shame, and again I wish him the best.
  15. H2o this team honestly doesn't pile on anybody, jets and Dolphins game aside from last year. I'm thinking 28-7, and a 250 or so yard day, with about 150 or more on the ground.
  16. Enough is enough, we need to sign Kroft off our practice squad and give our TEs some help. Seriously, though, I have photos of him hanging out with Bogo.
  17. BTW, Hap, and Alpha knows this...I am the guy who said Zay was going to lead the Bills in receptions this year and I have now wished him luck twice since this announcement. I am far from against the young man and was always in his corner...maybe until after last week. There is a smidge of aggro or annoyance with you on this one and I don't know why. I just know that Alpha ate a tremendous amount of s*** sandwiches for awhile, a bit from me to, and he gets the points on this one.
  18. Absolutely right, Hap, on the getting cut. However, that is a typo on my part. Alpha actual said he would be traded. If you hit a bullseye a few weeks later...you nailed it...you still hit a bullseye. ...if it is 2020, maybe not so much.
  19. I am in an extreme minority. Hell, I’m probably standing in a room alone. i liked Dennis Miller. It was just different and I by no means consider myself an intellectual, but I got his humor. even the obvious ones: ”It’s so nice here in Canton, but strange that you can’t get good Cantonese food.” edit: oh I’m sorry, forgive me, also: the Browns are overhyped poop.
  20. You announced this so early and then when he gets traded it takes you this long to chime in?! What have you got another life outside this board?! ? You nailed it, Alpha. Cheers to you. You had to sense something after the Pats game, too. as I said before, good luck to Zay, but more importantly good luck to the Duke. EDIT: dammit, now if Alpha says, “The Bills will trade Ed Oliver”, I have to give it proper attention!
  21. Some where...off in the distance...Alpha is smiling. ....oh wait, no, he’s likely around here somewhere. good luck to Zay, and good for Duke.
  22. Amen to both you and show HUDS. I have gotten more comfortable with the "just win baby" sort of thing that is going on, but it is a little annoying. I think we will handily beat Miami, buteven that game I think isn't going to be like the finale, but more like the giants 28-14 win....never in doubt, but never cruising.
  23. That, Azu, or at best 6-10. i don’t know what the ceiling is on the Bills this year, but it is looking high. i just don’t understand how so many had them so low. Bruce Murray (NFL Radio) is kind of hoping right now the Bills go 2-9 to make his prediction come true.
  24. No, no, no. You guys are mistaken. ESPN told me that Sean McDermott was on the hottest coaching seat in the nfl this year. ...get your facts straight and predict better, both of you. Ssshhh...come here...COME HERE...they also told me the Jets were better than the Bills, but keep that one a secret.
