Antonio Brown files grievances, seeking more than $40M
dollars 2 donuts replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can eat a whole large pizza in one sitting. I think I can eat a whole large pizza in one sitting. ...can anyone buy me a whole large pizza so we can see if I can eat it in one sitting? You know how people use the saying "keep them in a bubble" usually meant to keep someone safe? Well, I wish we could sign AB a put him in a bubble for the purposes of keeping everyone on the team, in the organization and in humanity in general, safe from him. If there was little or no contact with him as a person other than Xs and Os we may actually be on to something. No interviews...ever. No nothing other than paying him and his play. Then he goes home. ... ... I'm sorry. I went to my happy place for a couple of seconds. Please PM about the pizza thing. -
Was up early at the office working and I was listening to ESPN radio overnight (forget who) and after Gruden's win last night they were giving him credit for his coaching job so far this year. That was fair enough. Then they went through about 6-7 other coaches, some rookies (Packers coach) among them and saying what good jobs they've been doing. ...noooooo mention of a guy who equaled his teams win total from last year only half way through the season and who, in ESPN's preseason estimation, was on the hottest seat in football.

What is your perfect scenario for this weekend?
dollars 2 donuts replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A Bills over Browns on the road 1990 type of victory...although it doesn't have to be 42-0, but I wouldn't argue with that outcome. Jets and Dolphins keep winning as they are not going to hurt us from here on out against other teams, also they can actually help us with playoff position, makes our schedule look a little more difficult, and most importantly, it might keep Adam Gase in New York. -
Amazing how the National Press Ignores the Bills
dollars 2 donuts replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've said this so many times over the course of the season: the Bills most egregious sin in 2019 is that they are not a good fantasy team. They used to sing songs about the Bears defense in the 80s. However, in this day and age while watching a game with a large group of people you look around and see almost 90% of them are looking down at their phones, sometimes while a play is going on...and well...you kind of know your time has come and gone. Therefore and honestly, in this day and age the Bills aren't overlooked because of their easy schedule and "sometimes" offense, they are overlooked because they don't mean anything points wise to the "Three Lards And A Cloud Of Buds" team in their keeper league at ACME, Inc. ...their offense does need to score more, though. -
Please, BBG, never once thought that you were crapping on the thread. Both of your posts were really good, my friend. I will stress this about Fitzy, I also said this in an earlier thread and here as well...I would love to see the guy give up on being the number 1 guy and go to a place (if there is some successful team willing to take him) where the team is really good. Agreed that the QB elevates the team, and sometimes he did, and man sometimes he didn't. I am about to commit sacrilege here...Frank Reich was so good when he played on the 80s and 90s Bills teams and when he wasn't...man...he just didn't elevate anything in Carolina. ...I would like to see Fitzy in that situation as back up, just once, out of no other reason than I am just really curious to see it. What if he had to come in for a game for New Orleans? He is no Teddy Bridgewater and if forced to play a number of games wouldn't have similar success. ...but it would be interesting to see because, frankly, we've never seen it.

Simple poll. Is Josh Allen improving as a passer?
dollars 2 donuts replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing is also, teef, when he goes on the run he throws some beautiful balls, too. Yes some duds, but man I love watching the replays of some of these throws he's making (completed or not) when he giddy-ups*. *Intentional Western or "Buffalo Bill" reference. -
Trubisky, hanging on by a thread
dollars 2 donuts replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HUDS, I am such a terrible fan. As maybe you are the only person around here who would notice my absence, other than the Board members I owe money (SDS is killing me on the membership fees here...I didn't even know there were any!), it is obvious that I disappear after losses. I just don't like focusing on them or talking about them after losses or bad games. There is nothing I can do about it and it doesn't bring me any joy so I just do other things during the week. ...like the lost art of macrame. -

That sent a chill down my spine, Rocket. I don't believe that will be us next year...but still...please, please don't let that be us next year. Again, don't think it will be if no other reason I just think these two are built differently from the ground up, regardless of their football statistic similarities. BTW, also annoying that a team like Chicago still doesn't take any heat for not taking Mahomes. It's kind of working, HUDS. I feel no reason to turn on the TV when the Bears are playing. -
Some great receivers there, BBG, indeed. However, even when Fitzy wasn't starting were these good teams? Did Fitzy take the field with teams that were 5-2 (without help from him) and just screw it up? I have no memory of a scenario were the team was really good and he messed up a good thing. However, I am just going off memory and I could be wrong.

Bills to wear white on blue this Sunday
dollars 2 donuts replied to Yav's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thanks for wasting two more minutes. Let's be serious, too, the M-5 really could have F'd them up. At least on Mudd's android world ( i know, not really Mudd's) there would be some upside...Oh wow, was there some upside. -

Bills to wear white on blue this Sunday

Thank you for wasting the last two minutes of my life. Please don't suggest things that permeate my soft gray matter and turns me into a drone of little use to anyone for a period of time. I would say I am Norman ("1") to your Captain Kirk from the classic Star Trek episode "I, Mudd" (don't make me say "Original Series" you trolls), but that would be giving myself too much credit...other than the nicely arcane reference. -
Taylor, J. Phillips & Liuget take over the D-Line
dollars 2 donuts replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BRD, I said before in an earlier post that I would like to see J. Philips stay, possibly in the 7-8 million range. I now think it is going to cost more than that, but my opinion hasn't changed. -
No lie, we had Cheetos in the house and last night I go down stairs to turn the lights off at around 10:45, I see the bag and i proceed to eat 1/3 of the bag. one at a time... just standing there in the pantry... no tv... no music... no anything. Just standing there eating Cheetos and barely thinking at all. ...on Judgment Day I just hope they skip over those few minutes and focus on that time I saved a puppy.

ATL...you won the internet today. Please enjoy it....I am laughing quite a bit. Gray, I would like to see him give up on being a starter and go to a good team, just once through out the miserable 8 teams he has played for. Is it to see him win? No. Really, it is for once to see him, if only for half, play with a team that is really good. By no means would that mean he is anything more than what he has always been. However...aren't we just a little curious to see that?

Congratulations to former Buffalo Bill Ryan Fitzpatrick who this last weekend passed former Buffalo Bill Joe Ferguson on the all time TD pass list. Fitz now has 198 career TD passes (45th) while Fergy has 196 (tied for 48th). Along the way this weekend Fitz also passed Andy Dalton, Steve DeBerg, Bobby Lane and Kenny Anderson, just to name a few. A couple of weeks back he passed Ken Stabler. The next few weeks could see him passing Phil Simms, Roman Gabriel, Randall Cunningham, Jim Everett and Kurt Warner, if he gets on a roll. Please note I've stated nothing further about the above than just historically significant milestones, so respectfully please don't turn this into, 'Whoa, this guy thinks Fitzy should be in the Hall of Fame! Who the hell does he think he is?! Time to finish my beer and Cheetos and bring this guy down a peg!!! ...what's my password again?"* * This self dialogue may, or may not take place in the homes of some, or one of us, on this Board. It is used for example purposes only...I hope.

Jim Kelly (93) vs Josh Allen (19)
dollars 2 donuts replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks, Shady. I's so annoying on some of the sites I reference to track down fumbles. I spend more time trying to look for the stat then I even care to know about it. Freddy, I am going on Memory on the first things I mention below, and I am quite sure on the second from that year. 1st, without checking, I actually think the Bills might have fallen to 8-4, and then won the last 4 to get to 12-4. 2nd, and I am almost 100% sure about this because I thought I reviewed it a number of years ago...Of all the great Bills teams of the late 80s and 90s the 1993 team was the only one to finish first overall in the NFL. There was always someone better in the NFL than our 13-3 teams of 90 and 91 and the Bengals had home field advantage in 1988 for that 12-4 team. They had home field advantage in the AFC, and I believe the Cowboys were the only team in the NFC that equaled them with a 12-4 record (kind of sure on that). However, the Bills beat the Cowboys in head to head in week two. -
Jim Kelly (93) vs Josh Allen (19)
dollars 2 donuts replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just FYI, as well, since why the hell not. since coming back from injury last year Allen is 9-5 as a starter, with 18 Td passes, plus 9 rushing tds for a total of 27 against 14 picks. I didn’t look up the fumbles because I didn’t feel like it. -
Such a stupid comment, too, or at least the way it is worded. McDermott: "I gotta tell ya, the feeling of euphoria around this locker room is infectious, and it is just what we are looking for out of our team and players. I always tell my guys, 'feel that euphoria and just run with it', and it hasn't failed me as a coach yet." I know, I know, but that's the way it is sort of written. Stick with something like, "fans are playing it safe (or are cautious) with their love for this team." Just something other than what was written. I know, right? I, for one, am extremely disappointed with Beasely scoring a td in each of the last three games.
