  1. That sent a chill down my spine, Rocket. I don't believe that will be us next year...but still...please, please don't let that be us next year. Again, don't think it will be if no other reason I just think these two are built differently from the ground up, regardless of their football statistic similarities. BTW, also annoying that a team like Chicago still doesn't take any heat for not taking Mahomes. It's kind of working, HUDS. I feel no reason to turn on the TV when the Bears are playing.
  2. Some great receivers there, BBG, indeed. However, even when Fitzy wasn't starting were these good teams? Did Fitzy take the field with teams that were 5-2 (without help from him) and just screw it up? I have no memory of a scenario were the team was really good and he messed up a good thing. However, I am just going off memory and I could be wrong.
  3. Was it my imagination, and it could be, that every time Frank Gore got into the game they gave him the ball. Rarely have I seen any offense so telegraphed. They virtually said almost every single time, 'Washington, we are going to hand off to Frank now."
  4. thanks for wasting two more minutes. Let's be serious, too, the M-5 really could have F'd them up. At least on Mudd's android world ( i know, not really Mudd's) there would be some upside...Oh wow, was there some upside.
  5. I have a long history of digging Corta...not going to change that now.
  6. Thank you for wasting the last two minutes of my life. Please don't suggest things that permeate my soft gray matter and turns me into a drone of little use to anyone for a period of time. I would say I am Norman ("1") to your Captain Kirk from the classic Star Trek episode "I, Mudd" (don't make me say "Original Series" you trolls), but that would be giving myself too much credit...other than the nicely arcane reference.
  7. Whoever knew that winning could be so sinful?! ...seriously, not us...we literally don't see enough winning to even piece it together with any sort of veteran panache.
  8. If the Bills make the playoffs, forget about it HUDS. We've EARNED the right to get fatter then. I'm thinking Skyline (style) chili for all! Come to Butthead
  9. BRD, I said before in an earlier post that I would like to see J. Philips stay, possibly in the 7-8 million range. I now think it is going to cost more than that, but my opinion hasn't changed.
  10. No lie, we had Cheetos in the house and last night I go down stairs to turn the lights off at around 10:45, I see the bag and i proceed to eat 1/3 of the bag. one at a time... just standing there in the pantry... no tv... no music... no anything. Just standing there eating Cheetos and barely thinking at all. ...on Judgment Day I just hope they skip over those few minutes and focus on that time I saved a puppy.
  11. ATL...you won the internet today. Please enjoy it....I am laughing quite a bit. Gray, I would like to see him give up on being a starter and go to a good team, just once through out the miserable 8 teams he has played for. Is it to see him win? No. Really, it is for once to see him, if only for half, play with a team that is really good. By no means would that mean he is anything more than what he has always been. However...aren't we just a little curious to see that?
  12. Congratulations to former Buffalo Bill Ryan Fitzpatrick who this last weekend passed former Buffalo Bill Joe Ferguson on the all time TD pass list. Fitz now has 198 career TD passes (45th) while Fergy has 196 (tied for 48th). Along the way this weekend Fitz also passed Andy Dalton, Steve DeBerg, Bobby Lane and Kenny Anderson, just to name a few. A couple of weeks back he passed Ken Stabler. The next few weeks could see him passing Phil Simms, Roman Gabriel, Randall Cunningham, Jim Everett and Kurt Warner, if he gets on a roll. Please note I've stated nothing further about the above than just historically significant milestones, so respectfully please don't turn this into, 'Whoa, this guy thinks Fitzy should be in the Hall of Fame! Who the hell does he think he is?! Time to finish my beer and Cheetos and bring this guy down a peg!!! ...what's my password again?"* * This self dialogue may, or may not take place in the homes of some, or one of us, on this Board. It is used for example purposes only...I hope.
  13. Thanks, Shady. I's so annoying on some of the sites I reference to track down fumbles. I spend more time trying to look for the stat then I even care to know about it. Freddy, I am going on Memory on the first things I mention below, and I am quite sure on the second from that year. 1st, without checking, I actually think the Bills might have fallen to 8-4, and then won the last 4 to get to 12-4. 2nd, and I am almost 100% sure about this because I thought I reviewed it a number of years ago...Of all the great Bills teams of the late 80s and 90s the 1993 team was the only one to finish first overall in the NFL. There was always someone better in the NFL than our 13-3 teams of 90 and 91 and the Bengals had home field advantage in 1988 for that 12-4 team. They had home field advantage in the AFC, and I believe the Cowboys were the only team in the NFC that equaled them with a 12-4 record (kind of sure on that). However, the Bills beat the Cowboys in head to head in week two.
  14. Just FYI, as well, since why the hell not. since coming back from injury last year Allen is 9-5 as a starter, with 18 Td passes, plus 9 rushing tds for a total of 27 against 14 picks. I didn’t look up the fumbles because I didn’t feel like it.
  15. Such a stupid comment, too, or at least the way it is worded. McDermott: "I gotta tell ya, the feeling of euphoria around this locker room is infectious, and it is just what we are looking for out of our team and players. I always tell my guys, 'feel that euphoria and just run with it', and it hasn't failed me as a coach yet." I know, I know, but that's the way it is sort of written. Stick with something like, "fans are playing it safe (or are cautious) with their love for this team." Just something other than what was written. I know, right? I, for one, am extremely disappointed with Beasely scoring a td in each of the last three games.
  16. Breakfast with the Bills (7 am, 1 pm London kickoff, I believe) would be fun once a year. We did one against the Jags a few years back and everybody loved it.
  17. Words can't do this justice. But I'll try: cool. EDIT: I want this on my wall...badly. I don't want it to look bad, I just want it very, very much, is what I mean.
  18. Bless you, HUDS, and the horse you came in on. BTW, for those of you who don't know, the horse he came in on is named "Rudy". The length wise view of this play, and in slow motion...is gorgeous.
  19. I'm glad you're...not... ..the person who's... Wait, what thread was this again? I thought this was the Kardashian thread on Off The Wall.
  20. If MM is limited this could be tough for us.
  21. However, he does have 462 career receptions...sure it’s over a number of seasons, but I think his high is 61.
  22. Dopey...10 seasons. The man averaged 1,527 yards per season over the course of his entire career in Detroit. Talk about a freak!
  23. I never said I reviewed every angle, Gugny. ? EDIT: AB would be getting open. Man...we are absolutely, never ever going to know, are we?
  24. I never wanted him for various reasons, but man...if AB didn't have a ten cent brain and would have just given it time here right now...I don't know...45 to 50 receptions so far and maybe the Bills are 6-0? The Bills are throwing more.
