  1. Honestly, PTR, I think he would. Maybe his stats not as good, but I think he would be a better, more nfl ready qb.
  2. Back to back bowls...just really good for the program. im sorry, may I also please go back to being mad at Jackson for declaring and having half the offense walk because of it?
  3. Damn that game three weeks ago. Damn it to Hades. 27-6 with 8 minutes left and they lose. Would feel better about them making a bowl at 8-4.
  4. Honestly. Throw in as proof Santa being a douche when the elves were singing.
  5. You are gorgeous human being whose likeness should be common place on Mount Olympus with the other deities. ...just a rough estimate on my part. Yeah, BF, but it is more likely than the suggested losses to Miami and Cincy.
  6. Ok, let’s not talk crazy...they could lose to both Texans and Chiefs and we could leap frog them record wise, 13-3 to 12-4.
  7. Truer words may have been written, but I don’t know what those words are. seriously bad move by Elway not getting Jackson or Allen...not saying they’d be the same abs in Denver, but still.
  8. Schop said yesterday even with help the Bills can’t really catch the Pats, or something to that effect. However, if the Pats lose to either the Texans or the Chiefs and the Bills win out, wouldn’t the Bills and Pats both be 13-3, but the Bills would be 10-2 in the conference while the Pats would be 9-3? The division would be a tie at 5-1, but I thought they would go to afc record before point differential. Not an in-depth post here, but thoughts would be appreciated. Edit: we would also have home field advantage due to our win over the Ravens. GO BILLS!
  9. Side note: can I just say the Temptations segment that started the Macy’s parade on nbc was all sorts of awesome.
  10. Watching Good Morning Football...which I love. Question: are the Bills even playing today? We are literally only the backdrop for the Cowboys and their plans for righting the ship today. Switched to my daughter watching Arthur, the children’s character, holiday special. Please let me know when the pity story or comment comes. You know, the bone about a Bill that they sort of have to do just because. Stupid me. I always forget we commit the NFL sin of not being a power house offense.
  11. OH MY GOODNESS, TEEF!! Please wrap it up and get to your point!
  12. What are you so upset about? It is essentially the same point spread between a 9-2 New Orleans team against a 3-8 Falcons team... ? ?
  13. Huds, you are, as always, correct (btw, thanks for the off board suggestion. I DO look good in lavender!). May I also put a little optimistic asterisks in there? I know this is the only game and i know it is on Thanksgiving, but I just don't get the prime time vibe as it is not in prime time. Who knows, may be something little like that...just the fact that it is a 4:30 game might help. However, I would just assume that they would be super motivated to prove themselves on the national stage.
  14. Like a kid, Royale. Honestly, like a kid in a candy store who happens to have been around for decade after decade. I will ride the joy of this season right now as much I can over this increasingly difficult schedule. Because right now we are not 9-6 going into week 17. We are not PO'd because the Pats embarrassed us at their place, and we aren't etc., etc. The Bills are 8-3 and the DIVISION IS STILL OUT THERE AND IF THE PATS STUB THEIR TOE AGAINST KC AND WE TAKE CARE OF ALL OF OUR BUSINESS FROM NOW UNTIL THEN WE ARE PLAYING FOR BOTH THE DIVISION LEAD AND HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE THROUGHOUT THE PLAYOFFS WHEN WE MEET THEM IN LATE DECEMBER. Years since we could say that this late in the season...and I feel just young enough nowadays to cheer for it.
  15. I loved watching him during that season. May I just add something: on the lead up to this game on Thursday I am so hopefully that I believe I have the optimism of my 12 year old self. ...I was pretty positive little dude at 12.
  16. Royale is that a comparison or just anecdotal? Honestly asking, my friend. Just curious. EDIT: Forgive me, brother. I see what you are saying. Very nice!
  17. We are going to be drunk before Thursday with all the beers I am handing out to you guys.
  18. Through 11 games Allen has 15 passing TDs, to go with 7 rushing TDs. Not hard to figure out that if he keeps up this pace he'll finish with 32 total TDs. I believe the franchise record is 34 by Jim Kelly in 1991 (33 passing, 1 rushing). It is the only time Kelly did it. The thing is in checking this out it is the only time any Bills QB has been at 30 or over TDs. Unless I am missing something it hasn't ever happened, before or since. Even in Ferguson, Bledsoe and I think Fitzy years of 24 or so TD passes (there was a 25 in there, too), I don't believe any of them had 5-6 rushing TDs in a season to get to 30. I know this is just an individual player stat, and not necessarily a so sexy one as it includes rushing TDs, but still I just really found it kind of interesting. Even with some hick-ups he should really hit 30. On the other side of it I don't think it is crazy to think he has chance at possibly tying or even surpassing Kelly, albeit that would be a lot, but hey it would mean nice things for the way these last 5 games play out. Not bad for a second season. Go Allen, Go Bills!
  19. BB, BB seriously if I didn’t write what I wrote above that is what I was going to bring up. Dude, are you kidding me?! There is a little word we all like to call: try. Maybe test it out the next time this happens...like try and put your foot on the break before rolling out. tripping penalty was an utter joke.
  20. Don’t tell me, Kirby, that you don’t love it when the Bills pull off a major upset over a higher ranked team like they did today. It feels like we are finally getting our due. I sense a top 20 ranking in this team’s future. If not this week, then soon.
