  1. Absolutely, and I would take that. edit: on top of that you see some 6-6 or 5-7 getting lauded for their “little engine that tried in the face of a hard schedule”.
  2. No, please...I am a moron for not picking up on it. ...I’m generally a moron, though, so it is par for the course.
  3. Forever ago Blackwoods, 2...or rather "too"...and there were 2.
  4. Waiting for this week's PFF, but 16th last week. Their comment was "poof that the Bills 8-3 is not fraudulent". What bugs me when anyone talks like this is how can your record be fraudulent when you actually beat the teams that got you to 8-3, regardless of what their records are? If the Bills got a ton of help from the refs in about 3 of those games, then yes, but otherwise no. If I may paraphrase Jesse Eisenberg from The Social Network: "If the Bills aren't a 9-3 team in the NFL, then they wouldn't be 9-3."
  5. Say when, for purposes of full disclosure I watched almost all of the first, but almost none of the second. What I saw in the first was a gang that couldn't shoot straight or get on the same page. Even if they did pick up some yards.
  6. numberFire...but there's is not based on opinion I believe, but...surprise...numbers. Right now the Bills are 14.
  7. She is going to catch the death of her with a cold. Especially at 29 degrees. ( ? )
  8. @SlimShady'sGhost Slim or anybody, what is that power ranking site that simply hates the Bills? The one that had them at 23 before the Broncos game. I've been looking but haven't found it.
  9. May I just add something more? Good for having the Pats where they are above. In this league that absolutely and positively warships at the alter of offense it is at least consistent to see the 10-2 Pats at 5 because their offense is dreadful. That 1/3...that's not really crazy, is it? I'll take that.
  10. This is all fine. However, If we beat the team that is pretty much the consensus top team in the league on Sunday...going from #10-#8 isn't really going to cut it. Justice at that point, in the very least, is saying good bye to 4 loss teams in front of them, and leap frogging some other 10-3 teams as well. I'm kind of looking at you, Green Bay, and sorry, Pats, but if you get upended for the second straight week I am not sure why you would be ranked ahead of us 10-3, as well.
  11. Thank you, WEO. Up-voted both you here and Dk in his thread with respect to the above.
  12. Throwing in a little butterfly effect, though, if he had the 5th year would he be the same Shaq we are getting now? I actually think he showed us a little something last year. Mods, I’m being honest here, I did not check if this was an already existing topic and it might be. Please feel free to lock this puppy up if it is.
  13. Maybe Adam Gase has a brother?
  14. We are going to need more field goals.
  15. In the hopes the Bills coaches and players aren’t just passing the roulette gun from Deer Hunter around One Bills Drive I’m looking forward to them just plain lining up and going with “ourzin is better than yourzin.” ...I just don’t want them to play afraid of this team...this Bills team being cautious is maddening. edit: to go a step further I actually want their mindset to be how they take Baltimore out to the woodshed, to be honest.
  16. Thank you for reinforcing one of my most important tropes: there is not enough Tim Meadows in this world.
  17. I’m just curious whether espn still thinks he’s on the hot seat.
  18. Actually, though, as it sits now I think we do need the Titans to lose and get to six losses for us to clinch at 10 wins, this week.
  19. Am I wrong? Gotta look closer, but I believe a win next week coupled with a titans loss and the Bills can clinch a playoff spot. They will have a 7th afc win and no one behind them who can tie them at 10 wins can beat their afc mark. Edit: or do we need a titans loss, too? edit 2: no, I think I am right.
  20. Honestly, Wayne, I’ve been thinking this the last few days. Additionally, I am slightly worried that even though our trajectory is going up word we may lose a couple of pieces this off season that might hurt us in the long run. ...if we can get to 13-3, if we can make a run...all in.
  21. Two down. Two to go. One we control.
  22. Yes, there are dreams. There is also the work and the patience that goes into it making those dreams come true. He didn’t help himself, not just by the end result, but by reasonable opinion at the starting line of what he wanted to do.
  23. Falcons out? That’s what you get for being 7.5 point underdogs on thanksgiving day.
